  1. I always just grabbed mine with my teeth and threw my head back. ::
  2. Sell your j-arm frame to a drag racer then use the money to get an a-arm frame. You might make some profit that way too if your frame is in good shape.
  3. I agree, if money is no factor when why only a 4mil. Get a cheetah and put a 7 or 10mil in there and you could still dune with it. More power than you would ever need to get out of any situation. Forget the 409 and go with cubs. You will be pissed off when cubs keep passing you everywhere and you had the option to get a set. For the price of the 409, then the porting to try and wake it up you could have gotton a cub with a cleanup that would make more power.
  4. If you are at 160 to 170psi you will get detonation with 93 pump gas. You NEED to run 110 or at least a mix of 50% 93 pump gas and 50% 110 race gas. 155psi is the compression limit for normal pump gas. Anything higher than that and you need to be running higher octane fuels.
  5. Dear night. Fuck Off Sincerely, Yo Momma. Or Else... or else what? Quit talking shit and do something about it. Whatcha gonna do? I still haven't seen the picture of you and your masive collection of quads. Where is it you fucking douche? Quit talking shit unless you can back it up. Fag.
  6. OK, I have 3 of these things (Ricky Stator Adjustable Timing Plate) so I'm just going to give one of them away. You have from now until thursday at midnight to post in this topic. I will put the name of everyone who posts here in a bucket and draw a name. Only one entry per person. So if you post 15 times I'm only putting your name in once. Stator is NOT included, just the plate.
  7. Mod your stock plate, its free and you can get around 4
  8. You will see a gain in TQ but not much in HP with an overbore. Especially on something that small. I'd just run it stock bore and get some other hop-ups for it.
  9. You just have to find a job that lets you play as much as you work. I only work 4 days a week. The rest of the time I do whatever I want. I can work as many days as I want if I want over-time or I can work the minimum 4 and take the rest of the week off. Its nice.
  10. Night do a search. I bet every dumb-fuck question you come up with has already been answered.
  11. I think it would be fun to ride the path the racers will follow a couple days before or after the race and just take your time and enjoy the ride.
  12. he was racing me. just kidding.
  13. Santa's not real!??!???!? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Why did you have to ruin my perfect life!?
  14. ROFL I've never heard that one before. hahahahah
  15. I'd like to catch someone lighting a cat on fire. I would handcuff them to a fence post or tree or something, pour gas on them and light them on fire. I'm all for the punishment matching the crime. You steal something, you get your hand cut off, you kill someone, their family kills you back, you light a cat on fire, you get the exact same treatment. I really do hope that some day I can catch someone doing it. I will straight up light them on fire and walk away and let them burn to death. You want to beat a cat with a wire brush and spray carb cleaner on them, how about a smash you in the balls with a wire brush and pour terpentine on you.
  16. I have my name, initials and some other stuff etched into a LOT of parts both inside and out on my banshee. You have a couple good identifiers to locate it, that's good. I welded a plate to a part of my frame that has my name, address, phone number, etc on it. Its in a place most people wouldn't notice and it would def. leave a mark if someone tried to grind it off. he he Best of luck finding it.
  17. OK, 155psi is the limit for any kind of pump gas. Anything higher than that you should run higher octane fuels. I'd say up to around 170psi you can run 100 octane or a 50/50 mix of race gas or anything over 110. I run 4 gal of 112 and 1 gal of 91 when I use the store bought race gas. Any oil is good, just make sure you mix it at the same ratio each time. The ratio will vary brand to brand. Some call for 100:1 others call for 20:1. I'm usually somewhere between 50:1 and 32:1 depending on what I'm doing and what parts I've stuck on my shee. Right now I'm at 40:1 with Amsoil Interceptor. I've run the Amsoil Interceptor since I had my 87 banshee and never once had a failure due to lack of lubrication.
  18. Niiiice! I need to get some front tires for sand one of these days.
  19. I would help, gladly. If this kid is from anywhere in europe it just helps re-enforce my dislike for europe. I've never liked it and don't getr the whole thrill about going there for a honeymoon, etc. I think its a trashy part of the world and there are a lot better places I would rather go. Yes, the history would be very nice to see / experience but the rest of it I'm pretty sure would suck a huge wang. Especially france. I hate france.
  20. SSSSSHHHHHHH you will let the secret out and they will jack their prices.
  21. Blah! I take my rings from stock pistons and use them on my 795's all the time. Dunno what you are talking about. Ha Ha Ha Kidding of corse.
  22. I haven't been to glamis, pismo or florence so I can't talk from first hand experience. Everything I say is based off pictures and videos I've seen. I very well could be wrong. Don't get me wrong, I would love to come down and ride the DUNES. Its the people that are there as well as the sand that I don't like. There are just too many people doing too many stupid things down there for my tastes. I would absolutely love to ride there though. Any time you think you can make the trip here I would be more than happy to ride around with ya! I'll show you around our pile of sand. The thing that makes ours so much more knarly is the winds we get here and how light the sand is. Its really not uncommon to get winds over 100mph that last for more than a couple days. Add that to some really soft sand and it makes some really cool formations out here. I've seen some crazy stuff right after winter. The snow gets down under the sand and freezes and the wind blows the surface sand away. Leaves big towers of sand, kinda like soemthing you would see in arizona or new mexico rock formations only its frozen sand.
  23. That's a weird one. Did they both have the same size stamped on them? I've had to return stuff to RMATV and they are the best in customer serivce I have ever had. They don't care what's wrong they will take it right back and send you what you need for nothing or very very little charge. Great company.
  24. I've run them upside down and with the writing up and noticed no diff either way. Both lasted just as long.
  25. I still don't understand where you guys get off thinking KP is a small place. Its one of the biggest sand dunes in the country. Just as big if not bigger than St. A and WAY bigger than sand mountain. Our first set of dunes is over 10 miles front to back and 12 miles side to side, then go down a trail to the second set of dunes and its 11 miles front to back and 6 miles side to side. Glamis might be a huge place but you guys won't ever see a true razorback dune out there. I've never seen a video or picture that showed anything as steep as our dunes. You guys do have some really big hills down there, but none of them have the angles we have on ours. Our dunes just aren't as tall as other places. We do have some 3-400ft dunes though. That's plenty big to race up. There's just too many people down there for my tastes. I was the ONLY person at KP today and loved it. I'm just glad its free and we don't have any kinda camping fees or anything. I'm sure if more people rode KP the BLM would find a way to charge for it. If they did charge for it I would just drive around to the back side of the dunes and come in that way. hehe
