  1. Sounds like its time for more/bigger hop-ups if you can't turn the paddles you got. LOL  Get tires that are too big so it makes you go bigger in the engine dept. I've done that before. Ha Ha Ha! Get it set up so you can run 14x40 or 15x40 with the paddles and you will like it more. LOL
  2. Hey tyler, did you go through and check all your brass bushings on the idler gear and clutch basket? I've ran into that same problem in the past and it was a worn bushing on the idler gear itself. Let it move just enough to rub and catch on stuff and that little bit of movement would eat the clip after a couple rides. I hate how yamaha set that stupid little thing up.
  3. We have a TON of aluminum at work. I thought about making an aluminum frame just for straight-line asphalt drags. Anything else and it would probably fall apart. LOL Would be super light though. Ha Ha! A frame that's only like 10lbs. That would be cool stuff.
  4. Even if it is fake, its still funny!
  5. I have both and love both. They both have their place. I'm getting more and more used to riding the 450 in the dunes, but you just can't beat that brick to the face powerband of a banshee.
  6. I know how you feel man. I have the picture of michelle on my 450 in my avatar but I don't want to post it because everyone just drools on their keyboards. That pic is mine.
  7. Yo Momma Call me Big Red or Jared. Whichever floats your boat.
  8. Who else has seen the video of the super moped racing the trans am. The moped has a 2-stroke engine that they claim revs to like 23k or 32k or some junk like that. Its a cool video. The moped whoops on that trans am bad. Its all worked over and has nitrous on it. the trans am had some nice engine work done. the moped gets killed out of the hole, but once it gets up on top he shoots past the trans am. Its funny as hell. Imagine getting passed by some noodle kid on a moped. Ha Ha Ha!
  9. ROFL Nice. Ha Ha Ha! That pic would be funny if there was a geo metro behind it hooked up to an enclosed trailer.
  10. Tossed you a PM.
  11. Why can't I find stuff like this closer to home? LOL
  12. Prices, location???????????????
  13. I would try and modify the tie rods before I did anything to my pipes. JMO. Tweak the tie rod, then re-adjust the things.
  14. There is a shop like 5 blocks down the road from me. I had them spray it. Drove by walked in, they threw it in a truck bed they were spraying, hit it then handed it back to me. No charge. Took like maybe 10min for the whole thing to get sprayed. Thanks! Yeah, I can't leave it sitting out in the rain... Poor frame needs a good home. PS-90. I made another post in the images section about if it you want to see more pics. That's why you only ride a banshee in sand. Duh. LOL I have a 450 for romping through the mud and stuff. Should be doing assembly on the engine and putting suspension parts to the frame this comming week. Will be fun.
  15. Heck yeah, photoshop the red sticker pic and replace it with green and send the image to chase. I'm sure he could print you up some green ones. ROFL.
  16. I will by putting a stock engine back together here in the next couple weeks. I know a LOT of people wanted a walkthrough for re-assembly but I didn't have time when I put my cub together. If I have time I will be doing a re-assembly walkthrough on a mostly stock engine. If I get all the parts in time I'm trying ot have this engine together and in a frame by the weekend after next. We will see how it all goes. - Jared
  17. Ok so you guys have to have a sticker saying when you can ride and when you can't? That's the biggest crock of shiz I have ever heard of. You bought it, its your right to ride it when you want. Forget that crapola!
  18. Sprayed on. Its not all that heavy. I removed about 4 or 5 lbs of material from the frame and with the spray on there it gained back up to where it was with all the stock mounts on it. Not really THAT much surface area on a frame. Its also not as thick as a truck bed would be.
  19. Here's some updated pics of the frame for the banshee I'm building for Michelle. Anyone interested in what's on the frame, it is rhino lining. She wanted a black frame. Didn't have the time to wait on PC and I know this stuff holds up good so I don't have to worry about the frame getting all scratched or anything should she ever crash it. - Jared
  20. Here's mine...
  21. Its all a lot of personal preference too. I wish I had 35's on mine a lot of times, but other times the 33's helped a lot. Surprisingly enough my T5's ran ok with the stroker kit, but with cubs they weren't letting it breathe. They had retarded amounts of mid range though. Made it fun.
  22. I made a tool for the next time I go to do this... Welded a fiber plate and an inner steel clutch plate together. Locks the inner and outer hub together. He He!
  23. Stock frames don't have that bend to them. You have tweaked your frame somewhere along the line. I would suggest getting a new one and swap everything over. Chop it and extend the front end out and make a drag frame out of yours. LOL I wouldn't use a washer for the a-arm mount. There is WAY too much stress for something like that. You will need some kind of new mount fabbed up and welded in place of the old one.
  24. I like to be able to cook my bacon and eggs on my cylinders every morning before I take off. Um Hmm... bacon... Mmmmm bacon. LOL
