  1. Sorry to hear about it man. Free bump for some nice bling for someone! Fucking thieves.
  2. Still got those smooth front tires? What size rim are they on? How much shipped to 82901? - Jared
  3. Ebay canceled my auction since someone bid on my laptop and didn't pay and they turned around and said that someone bid using their account without their permission. I'm guessing the dude just didn't want to pay after bidding on it all night long. Fucking douches. Anyway... I re-listed it, same prices and stuff... Check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280126629276 If someone off HQ wants it, I will make a better deal and drop shipping on it. Let me know if anyone here is interested in it. Thanks! - Jared
  4. There were bikes up in the mid 80's easter weekend quite a few times. The stock cases simply aren't meant to handle that kind of power and stuff will break. Mattoon makes a set of cases now that you can bolt your 800+cc snowmobile cylinders to and drop in your crank. That would be the way to go. They look neat, but its old technology IMO. I'd much rather have a billet cylinder 20mil on a set of mattoon cases. K&T's triple was just barely catching LC Performance's 20mil at the top of the hill easter weekend. I'm not saying they aren't impressive, because they are. Its a feat all in itself just to do the welding and keep everything straight. I wouldn't want to try and imagine the heat distortion on some of the areas of the cases while they weld the snowmobile front half on.
  5. HOW ABOUT WE NOT YELL AT EVERYONE FOR THE ENTIRE POST Go do a search.
  6. I go over 70 everywhere. hahaha
  7. If you have enough money to build one, skip the idea and build a big stroker banshee engine. More reliable, parts are more avilable, etc. Its basically a snomobile crank/cylinders/cases welded to the front of a set of banshee cases. PM majicmike, he has one as well.
  8. OMG Im laughing so fucking hard right now. That was awesome man!
  9. Unless you plan on doing a crankenstein, or getting mattoon to make you a set of cases to mate up to the sleds crank and cylinders you will be running around with a massive belt drive on the side of your bike and would be considered a giant douche by all. LOL! just playin. - Jared
  10. Just because your plugs are a tan color doesn't mean your jetting is correct throughout the entire throttle range. You might have a rich or lean condition down low. Only way to be sure is to do the plug chop... Your 2 to 3 second hesitation is NOT normal. A correctly jetted banshee will be immediately snappy right off the bottom end. It wont get into the powerband until higher RPM's but the throttle response should be there as soon as you come off idle. - Jared
  11. Id probably buy one of those as well.... - Jared
  12. A belt sander would make stock tires smoothies in a hurry if you cant find any.
  13. Look on ebay for a rear master cylinder for a dirtbike. they all have the resevoir built right onto the cylinder. I know some of the yamaha dirtbikes use the ones just like you are looking for, and would probably bolt up for you as well... Here's one off a honda... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-Honda-CR...126847741QQrdZ1
  14. I thought the clymer manual recommended stabbing it with a screw driver? damn!
  15. Not uh! Every hole a machinist makes is absolutely and perfectly straight and maintains the same diameter bore throughout the entirety of whatever thickness material said hole is going through.
  16. Son of a bitch! Did you try opening your coffee-cup holder first?
  17. Depends on what you are doing. With it running on battery and watching a DVD it will only last about 45min. Running your basic windows apps or just playing around it would probably last about 2 hours. Its a high-end laptop and likes to be plugged in most of the time. LOL It has its own internal wireless card. The Windows XP tag is on the back of the laptop and is the serial number that was used for the install / activation. I do not have recovery discs, but do have a driver disc I made when I got the laptop. Has all the drivers needed. I have the original XP Pro hologram CD's but can't find the XP home disc. Everything is legal on it and the Microsoft tag is still attached to the back with the serial number used for the install. - Jared
  18. lol! no but it does come with that fdisk and format hard drive cleanaing utilities. I hear they work awesome! - jared
  19. the zd series had reports of display adaptor failure when they first came out, but it was just the tard-bucket users being rough with their laptops. Ive never had any display issues with mine whatsoever. Works awesome. no issues with the power plug at all. What would you like to know about it? Its a P4 2.66gHz with 768MB DDR and a 60GB HDD. Has a DVD /RW drive. Media card reader bay, I think 6 USB ports, firewire, digital audio hookups, 17" widescreen high definition display and a full size keyboard with the number pad on the side. It has the desktop P4, not one of the puny mobile versions. Has the P4's L1 and L2 cache and runs on a higher voltage unlike the mobile versions. Only tradeoff is it does run a little hotter than the laptops that use the mobile P4 series. It is built as a desktop replacement and IS pretty good size due to the 17" widescreen. Its not a small laptop. But its powerful, fast and has a great display for movies and games and such. if you have any other questions feel free to ask. - jared
  20. I'd do a side-case for a lockup clutch or a swingarm. The swingarm would be the easier of the projects. there's a lot of measuring and such with the side-case. Billet cases would also be fun, but a LOT of measuring. LOL - Jared
  21. Got banshee projects to finish so I'm selling one of my laptops on ebay. Figured I would list it here on HQ as well. Pm me if you are intersted and I will cut a better deal for HQ members than its selling for on Ebay. Nothing wrong with it, just got banshee stuff I'd rather finish working on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280123443167 Reserve set at $450 and buy it now is $550. Good laptop for the price. Great for watching movies on with the 17" widescreen. - Jared
  22. Raising the exhaust and transfer durations will provide more top end. But there's a LOT involved in the angles, window size proportions to bore size, degrees of crank rotation that each particular window is open and closed, blah blah blah. go over to planetsand for some more information about it. Do a search for blowdown theory and you will get a lot of usefull information. There's a LOT more involved than you think. Its black magic I tell you! black magic! lol
  23. Again, what kind of sleds are these?
  24. If you want to see what happens when you bust a skirt do a search in the images section for some of my pics. I broke a skirt on some ported pistons that were in one of my 4mil bikes. Not pretty. - Jared
