  1. I'd prefer to keep the rims / tires together.
  2. Anyone know what kinda frame that is?
  3. silver. Bump. Rims and tires and shocks still available. Someone has to want these.
  4. I think the grand total for everything I had done last time I went to PC which was... Frame, A-Arms, +6 Swingarm, footpegs, grab bar, rear hubs, rear sprocket hub, rear brake hub, front engine mounts, lower engine mounts... to sand-blast and prep everything and plug/tape holes, etc the grand total was like $600 something if I remember right. That's a candy coat (chrome base, candy blue, clear) on the frame, which is considered a two-layer coating and a double layer of the neon green on the suspension and other parts. So everything ended up being two layers. they baked the green shit on once, applied a second coating and baked it again... Just as a side-note. I will never PC anything again. It doesn't hold up worth a shit. Any little rock or anything that hits it chips the shit off and carb cleaner that gets on any of it eats it right off. Same with brake clearner and the spots where methanol got on any of it it dulled the color and made it look like shit. I can go out and smack the frame with the handle of a screwdriver and it will chip right off. Rhino-lining and chrome are the only way to go if you want durability. ...and rhino-lining can color-match pretty good. I'm sand-blasting a frame right now and taking it to get lined soon as its done. The green suspension parts and shit are getting chromed soon as I get a chance as well. - Jared
  5. You should have stopped when you "figured it was overheating" Could be a crank seal or a bad base/head gasket... its hard to tell. If you are lucky its just a gasket kit and perhaps a top end kit.
  6. I've got too many projects going right now. I need to concentrate on one and get one of them up and running. Its getting annoying have parts for 3 different engines laying around and not having the parts I want to finish any of them up. I'm going to concentrate on the 10mil right now. I have a frame getting sand-blasted right now and I'm pulling the suspension off the blue/green bike and sending it to chrome to get done while I wait for my new two paychecks to get this thing finished up and put together. Maybe down the road I can build a DM, after some of my other shit is put together. - Jared
  7. Going to something bigger. Put brand new OEM Yamaha bearings on both sides. Trued and welded 4mm stroke 5mm longrod. $300 shipped. - Jared
  8. This would be a good time to shut your yap and go do a search. Talking shit towards a respected memeber of the board won't get you anywhere... in fact it will make people not want to answer your questions.
  9. I call bullshit on that one.
  10. That question doesn't have any real answer. It depends on you and your riding abilities and where/how you ride. There's no answer for the question. Go do a search and look around and you would have answered your own question.
  11. Stock front rims & tires, still have nubbies on the tires. Only have 1 ride on them. $100 shipped Stock rear rims & tires, same condition as fronts, still have nubbies, 1 ride on em. $100 shipped stock shocks, white springs $55 shipped. Brand new, 1 ride on them. paypal only. WALLACE has dibs on the fronts if he PM's me. If I don't hear from him in a day or two they are open to others. - Jared
  12. I use wood putty! yay!
  13. I'll figure a price tonight, I'm still at work. But I will PM you when I get home... Throw me an offer in the mean time. I won't use much of any of this stuff on any of my builds and just need it out of the way. - Jared
  14. PM'd ya back, if that won't work throw some offers at me. - Jared
  15. I have the stock suspension off my 06 banshee just sitting in the shop taking up space so I'm putting some parts up for sale... ALL of these parts have around 10hrs on them, if that. I bought the bike, did a couple heat cycles and rode it for a couple hours and put it in the shed. Everything is pretty much brand new off an 06 banshee. Stock knobbie tires & stock rims. Stock Front upper & lower a-arms stock rear swingarm stock axle carrier stock axle stock hubs stock sprocket hub & brake hub stock brake rotor stock front shocks Make reasonable offers. Get this stuff out of my shop. Paypal only.
  16. I'm having him do the trenching and boring and ordering some other parts through him since he cut me a pretty good deal. Other than that I will do all the assembly and stuff myself. That way I can do my own little tweaks I do to my shit and if something fucks up or breaks I can only blame myself. I do some stuff to the transmission as well, so I'm going to have him do the trenching & stuff & leave the cases apart. I split them at home and pulled the stock crank and trany crap out before I sent them out to him. I think if I were doing one of his 12mil bikes or something bigger I would probably have him do all the work. We shot about 15 emails back and forth talking about options and what not before I finially settled on something I liked. - Jared
  17. Id get a hold of majicmike here on the board. he has a sweet little 5-way T that will make purging easy as pie. I made my own purge bottle mounted on my bars on my bike and when I'm done for the day, I shut off my main tank, fill the purge bottle and just run the bike until it gets all shitty. I don't have to swap hoses, hook up any outside tanks or anything. ...and I've got a filter on my purge tank so no worries of crap getting in while I purge. Its a sweet setup and pretty cheap for the T from mike. You could use a nalgene bottle or anything really for your purge tank. I made my own out of aluminum and mounted it on my bars, it holds about 16oz and I fill it twice and about half-way through the second fillup my bike starts to load up pretty good and I run it till it dies, then put it away. simple stuff. - jared
  18. The billet cases are around $2k and the Twister Billet cylinders I can pick up through a guy in utah for around $1100 to $1300 depending on what stroke/bore/intake/exhaust options I get. - Jared
  19. I guess I just ride like a god damn maniac compared to most because my PC was chipping off and cracked in more than a few places not even a month after I had it done. Maybe it was just not done correctly but I will never PC a frame or suspension again. I will always be going with rhino-lining and chrome on everything from now on. Even if its heavier, I was not satisfied at all with the PC. Figured I would give it a shot and I won't ever do it again. I will sand-blast and get my frames rhino-lined every time. Its the only thing I've ever found that will hold up to how and where I ride. Rhino-lining can even be color-matched now, so I can still get the cool colors and the durability. JMO - Jared
