  1. brandon does good work. You will be happy with his work. If you are actually going to make that kind of power, I'd go +6 on the swinger.
  2. All depends on what kind of riding you do and what your current setup is.
  3. I'd sure hope you could make it wheelie with 11 paddles and stock suspension. LOL! A lot of it will depend on what kind of power your bike makes. I had a 4mil dune bike on meth that would wheelie all day long on a +6 and 9 paddles. Don't over-paddle your bike. Let it rev. Especially if its a stock stroke. Those things like to rev. A longer swingarm will make it harder to wheelie, but also provide more wheel-spin. The shorter swingarm will allow more of a wheelie factor and give you better traction.
  4. forgot to add that you will need a clutch cover gasket, and maybe the little o-ring that sits on your coolant line inside the clutch cover.
  5. Remove your clutch side cover. Take the clutch out, and maybe the kick-start gear assembly. Can't recall if the kicker gear has to come out or not. But once you remove the clutch basket, take the shifter off and slide the shift shaft assembly out through the clutch side cover. Pull the old seal out, and press in the new seal. Put everything back together... Pretty simple. You could do it in a couple hours. - Jared
  6. Go to meth, you will love it.
  7. What filters are you running? It could be dust particles mixing with your fuel and oil and making the sticky mess on your slides. For cold weather I would run Amsoil Dominator or Klotz Supertechniplate. Stay away from Castor oils in the cold, it will seperate. I'd take the carbs all the way off and go through them and clean the crap out of them and check your filters, run outerwears if you don't already, and check all your seals and gaskets on the carbs. - Jared
  8. I'd go +4 with a 9 paddle if you want to dune ride more than drag. Or a +6 with 10 paddles if you want to drag race more. Either way I'd go 22x11x8 for the tire size.
  9. Have you looked into a 33PWK? I'd shoot for the 33 if it were me. But the 34PJ will do just fine for you. The smaller the carb, the better your throttle response. The bigger the carb, the better top end you will have, but at the expense of response.
  10. If your running methanol there are a few basics you need to have... first is a modded gas cap. If you've got a stock gas cap or any kind of cap with a check ball, ditch it and drill it out. Next is a pingel fuel valve. Whaat carbs are you running? Do you have billet bowls? What are your mains and dumps drilled to? What pilots? Needles? What domes? Whats your compression? How much timing do you have? If you don't have much experience with banshees, I'd suggest getting a set of gas carbs and changing your domes out so your down around 140-150lbs of compression and go +4 on the timing. Once you learn to tune the bike on gas and read your plugs and all the basics about maintenance and up-keep for you banshee, THEN step up to methanol. Unless you have experience tuning with meth, and working on banshees you will keep finding yourself breaking down and blowing up. Ask around here on the HQ and see if anyone around you can help you, and has experience with meth. Do you purge your bike? What purge gas are you running and what oil are you running? - Jared
  11. Bump! Thanks smurf! Come on folks, can't build a bike like this for this price.
  12. When I had a Shitnity intake I ported it myself to match my reeds and setup. You can do it. Take your time and make it look good and make both sides the same. Just don't rush it.
  13. Thanks! Bump! I'll trade the 612cc Big Block Twister drag bike AND my R6 raptor for an RZR.
  14. Its Height x Width x Rim Size. So the added inch on the width will just give you a little bit more of a balloon effect at high speeds. But on a 20" tire my bet would be that you won't even notice any difference at all between the two. - Jared
  15. Bump! Get a complete bike, custom built, ready to shoot the hill or run down the track... for almost the same as others are selling just their engine for. http://s260.photobucket.com/albums/ii14/WyoBanshee/?action=view&current=MOV00139.flv
  16. This is a custom made hillshooter / drag banshee. Many of the parts on the bike were custom machined by Firehead and cannot be bought from any other builder or outlet. Including the Twister Big Block Cylinders machined for both a 10mil Stroke and 137mm Rods. It sits on a complete chromoly, NON-hybrid frame built by HS Customs and K&T. The whole bike is around 230lbs and can be picked up very easily to chest height by two people. My dad is on oxygen and has COPD. He cannot ride quads any more. I would like to sell my drag bike so I can get an RZR for my mom and dad to ride in, so they can continue to come to the dunes and enjoy this sport together. I would trade for an RZR, or if you have an RZR-S or something of more value, I have a few other quads I can throw in on the trade to make things fair. I have a YFZ with a hard running 480 engine, and a Raptor with an R6 engine w/ elka shocks, custom plastics, +3+1 a-arms etc. Here's the drag bike... 17. I'd like to be able to trade it for an rzr. I just can't see myself parting it out. If I do though, you know you would be one of the first calls I make kiel. You should just trade me for your RZR. LOL!
  18. I still have: Billet Basket Paddles Stock Carbs Stock Intakes Stock Reeds Make me some offers!
  19. I would like to trade my hillshooter drag banshee for an RZR-S. I'm located in Wyoming and can drive as far as oregon/california for the right trades. I'm not interested in selling or parting it out yet, I would just like to trade for an RZR-S. 20. Good luck with the trade. I've been trying to trade my 10mil big block twister with an HS customs hillshooter frame for an RZR for a while now and no one is interested...
  21. Sent ya a text message ken, let me know if you got it. - Jared
