  1. I agree with daj on this one. That was my exact same thought. A bunch of gangster-wanna-be's putting up a website.
  2. Twister. www.twistercrankshaft.com Save yourself the time and $ down the road to do the rebuild and just get a good solid crank from the get-go.
  3. I used a 3gal spun aluminum tank off ebay and took a 6-pack rack and cut the bottom rails off the rack and welded on new mounting brackets for the tank onto the 6-pack rack. I use a shutoff valve under the tank, then a filter then it feeds into the back of the front tank. I run my dune bike on methanol and get more mileage out of my two tanks than the stock banshees do on gas with just the front tank. I aldo did the same thing for the tank on my R6 raptor. The factor air box and carbs sit under the front plastics so I moved the tank to the rear just like my dune banshee.
  4. I'm serious. You want the boost bottle, or you just want me to pay for shipping for your crossover tube? Shoot me your paypal and I'll send you some $ for shipping and my address. Thanks - Jared
  5. I've got a nice polished boost bottle that I'd like to trade for a stock crossover tube. Thanks! - Jared
  6. The tripple intake case port looks like they are for twister cylinders.
  7. Gone! Thanks for interest guys. Traded it off today.
  8. Gone! Thanks for interest guys. Traded it off today.
  9. You are right on the verge of needing higher octane fuel. Generally 155lbs static compression is what we use as a baseline for pump gas. Between your timing and compression I would probably run some kind of mix of racegas and pump-gas. You're not THAT high yet, so you can probably get away with a 1/4 race gas and 3/4 pump gas. If you have easy/cheap access to racegas I'd go ahead and do a 50/50 mix.
  10. That's creepy. I'm glad google doesn't get that involved in wyoming. Hell, google can't even find my address.
  11. I dune the crap out of a +6 and it does pretty good. I would go with the +6 and have the added length for later on down the road when you decide to go bigger.
  12. How about a little more information? Rod length on the crank? Big pin/small pin? TZ bearings? Maxload bearing? What kind of duneable? 2-5 m6, 1-5 ndown, 2-4? is the flywheel lightened? Who trenched the cases? How about some pictures?
  13. Just keep swapping out your fouled plugs with new ones. Eventually all the oil will cycle out of your cylinders. The down-side is that if you have a brand new top end your rings won't seat correctly with all the oil coating the cylinders on each revolution. just keep fresh plugs handy! If your carbs are leaking, check your float height.
  14. A thin bead around the edge should work, but I'd suggest just ordering a new gasket. If you do decide to use threebond, make sure you let it set up really good before you put any coolant in the system.
  15. K&T Performance LC Performance A&S Hope you have deep pockets... carbs, crank, straight cuts, lockup, billet gears, pipes, then your chassis... It adds up quick.
  16. PM NYUK, He's in your area and I believe he listed a YFZ for trade in another thread. Shoot him a PM, I'm sure he will tell you about it. - Jared
  17. Shoot me a complete list of what mods you have done and some recent pics. [email protected] Thanks! - Jared
  18. Here's a pic I took of "theshee" last time we rode. Some others..
  19. If it only does it when its cold, it could just be cold bearings. If you don't have any other signs or symptoms, I'd just give the bike a good once over and not worry until it gets worse or shows some other signs. Have you checked your plugs to make sure they look ok? Pull your stator cover off and take a look at the flywheel and stator and make sure nothing is out of place there. It could also be piston slap - caused when you have excessive piston to cylinder clearance, and it could stop making the noise once the piston warms up and expands and takes up the excess clearance. Check your pistons/cylinder clearance and see where its at. Your stator side might just be a few thousands larger than spec. Just be sure to let it warm up slow and give your pistons time to heat up and expand to their tolerance. - Jared
  20. Bump! Anyone closer than PA or NY interested in a trade?
