this guy is such a jerk. i know jgarcia.2 actually we ride together in miami, this guy aint him! i have purchased a bunch of carbs from jgarcia.2 for different builds and never had a problem.
for the people using mikuni 34 carbs on ported stock cylinders, what needles are you using? i have tmx34 d-slide carbs and the needles it came with are 6FM2 60. Does any one have any suggestions?
The guy that sold me the jugs was running the same setup with TM34 and he said it ran great! I guess I will try th pj's and see what happens I' ve heard they can be a B***h to get them to idle.
I was wondering which carbs would work better for my setup. I have a HJR dune/hillshooter port and cpi inframes stock stroke. i was either going with pj34 or pwk36 a/s because i can get these pretty cheap. i know alot of guys run the pwk35 a/s but those are out of my budget right now. i also know that the air strickers are better carbs and easier to tune. would 36mm be too big? is anybody running the 36 with a similar setup if so how does it run?
Can someone tell me what kind of porting i have on these cylinders? i purchased these locally and they where on the guys bike that sold them to me when he bought the bike. They have Varner scribed on them. Googled search says they where ported by Terry Varner a very popular dirt bike porter.

well i have done some research and all the internals are the same, except for jetting and needles. the good thing is you can find these carbs for cheap on ebay. I am bidding on a pair now and i will post my conclusion.
im sure a few guys here have done this. use the pwk28 off a cr or yz 85. my question is are the slides the same and besides mains, pilots and needles what else would need replacing for it to work?
