  1. TIG is probably best... I don't think you could get the penetration needed in such a small area with MIG welder without making a huge weldment.
  2. Programmer el soldo! Someone needs the CDI...........
  3. The biggest hot rod I ever put together on OEM carbs needed 360's at sea level.......... With that said a 320 main is still a possibility. My '06 with all the go fast stuff without porting needed 290 mains at sea level if that helps put things into perspective.
  4. Methyl Hydrate is commonly used in remote heating / A/C equipment and EC engines. I do not feel like it is an appropriate fuel for a Banshee. I actually have a set of Wiseco Low Compression pistons I can hook you up with. They have custom EDM'ed (by the spark plugs) compression release holes in the cent of the piston.
  5. What is the source of the methyl hydrate that you want to use? If you have found some intended for IC engine fuel, you will need to rejet for sure.
  6. Do you have any idea what it brings the surface hardness up to?
  7. I wasn't questioning their reed cage universality. I think you and I are on the same page. :geek:
  8. I didn't like either of the sets of BOSS bowls that I have owned....
  9. PM me with what you want to pay. I think I can probably take care of that for ya. :geek:
  10. I am pretty sure I am not asian.
  11. What is the volumetric capacity of those? :geek:
  12. I like the system matched / package concept. :geek:
  13. Good question. It looks like anodizing to me. I would be curious as to what type of andodizing that is (I hate those other retards in the industry that are simply dying their aluminum). If that is a reasonably resilient coating on there, those things are hot. I may need to get some money out of the pillows wtuffed with money that my friends think I sleep on for a coulpe of them.
  14. I like the RAD Valves on most OEM cylinders over VF Reeds..... Once you go to agtermarket carbs, you need to look at the VF reeds though. :geek:
  15. Word.
  16. I believe that to be true, though I would shoot Dynatek an email real quick to be sure. I am pretty sure Dyna only sells one programming cable and software and this software does have adjustements for multi-stage switching and external outputs.
  17. That's probably ok as long as everything is assembled properly.
  18. How much play are we talking about?
  19. Make sure they put a steel bushing the gear for you. Cascade also sells the bushings and can get you setup correctly. :geek:
  20. That certainly will cost more than $15....
  21. I have a OEM Banshee CDI from a MY2006. It works perfectly and is from a abarely used bike. I would like to see $100 shipped from it. Also, I have a Dynatek reprogramming cable and software for use with any Dynatek CDI. It is barely used. I would like to see $80 shipped for it. If Paypal is used please figure in adding 1.5% to those prices (I'll split the 3% fee with you). As with everything in life, thses prices are negotiable. I can provide pictures if necessary, please let me know if you would like to see them.
  22. That's funny right there.... :yelrotflmao:
  23. I think I remember posting in this thread last year.....
