  1. Good point..... I might be retarded. :ermm:
  2. You can ounly test the primary side of the coil resistance. The chart for what that should be, is on Penton's site somewhere. If it's not a simple problem, you have to send the unit to them.....
  3. Here is a picture of Dave, in drag, if that helps:
  4. What is the benefit of one of those?
  5. Does aynone have an extra pass for Sandlake on the 4th of July weekend. If so,could I buy it?
  6. Millenium is pretty good for the coating, but they won't do anything if you send them a piston.... You need to measure your stuff and hone to suit. Millenium has always seemed to coat thicker than necessary.
  7. Without regard to the Banshee style engine, JE can nibble on my nutsack....... They're QA sucks. Mahle is great and so is CP (though I have had strict control of the product I was using from both companies). With regard to a Banshee piston, Wiseco is pretty much the only way to go. You need to measure them yourself, and if you get something out of spec., send it back......... make sure you clearly document the issue and call them on their crap. You will more than likely not have an issue though. :geek:
  8. Where is RM Stator from?
  9. I have made my own rear calipers in the past.......... I have also played around with the one aftermarket drag racing package that is out there. Let me know what you would like to know? :geek:
  10. Take the old one off first.....
  11. I use these: http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/ne...tore_dept_id=25
  12. Rick's Stators (not to be confused with Ricky Stator) are ok if you don't want an OEM unit.
  13. Here are the short versions on one of my bikes:
  14. The reason behind the Cascade sleeves being the way to go is that you need to have an air gap between the tube and whatever is touching it..... If you just use tape or header wrap, you will still transfer most of the heat to whaterever is touching the pipe. :geek:
  15. Does this help:
  16. The Cascade stinger sleeves are the only way to go....
  17. Do you have any Borat style thongs? :ermm:
  18. Are you selling the Mod Quad covers or are yours made by someone else?
  19. Beyond the hardware stuff that has already been mentioned: The PVL basically has a fixed time curve that that manufacturer will not disclose. They can be ridiculously hard to tune, and if you have any troubleshooting that needs done, it is very hard to deal with. Lots of people run them for the faster rev of the engine, but I never had any luck with them.
  20. If you get the plasma cutter looking effect going on, then you certainly had some water getting in there...... :geek:
  21. Damn straight...
  22. They'll look good no matter what if they math you lock out cover. The PVL's are just a different thing to show off (I am not a fan of PVL's). :geek:
  23. Word......... The crank bearings are sure to be fouled. It looks like you had a water leak in there to create such a pronounced hole in the piston.
  24. ModQuad and Trick Licks for starters.................... :geek:
