  3. Make sure you have the right bowl on the right carb there is a right bowl and a left bowl. One has a jet in it and one doesnt. I cant quite remember which is which i think one has a pickup tube too and one dont. Dont do stocker very often anymore try switching and see what it does.
  4. Sounds high to me but really depends on timing. I would try some 50/50 mix or av gas and see if the problem goes away.
  5. How far off the ground the bar is means nothing what your looking for is weight transfer and that distance 4-5" will only work with certain length bars. What if my bar was 10' long then 4-5 inches would only lift the front tires a inch or so but if it was 6 inches long that would prolly lift it a foot. Most of the time we set are bar height by trial and error you want as much weight transfer as you can get but you dont want your bike bunny hopping all the way down the track so you lower it but too low wont give you any weight transfer and it will just spin. So every setup is different you will just have to try it.
  6. Do a leak down if your buring oil its sucking air. You need to get that thing sealed up before you do any jetting.
  7. Have you run a compression check on the motor. And a leak down. If your plugs are grey your lean, either from not enough jetting or an air leak. On all new motors always always do a leak down or your asking for trouble. Check the compression and get it to pass a leakdown and let us know.
  8. How bout some pictures of the carbs, that would help make sure we know what you have first. Hard to tell but sounds like your running out of fuel in those gears either from a lean condition or bowl running dry.
  9. Give us some more info on your bike. Plugs rattling out is caused by detonation not by faulty plugs or domes 99.9% of the time. Whats your compression, timing, carb setup, jetting. Sounds like to me your either lean or have to much compression/timing for the fuel you are running.

  14. Look on top of the cases there by the clutch actuator arm there should be an arrow cast into the cases. You will need to pull the the slack out of the cable with the handle and line up the arrow on the clutch arm with the arrow on the cases, adjust the screw in the disengager (pancake bearing) to get it in proper alignment. Then lock it down with that nut so it wont move.
  15. Ok guys here is the deal on this motor. This was a 04 model motor that a customer had me build and now wont pay me for. Here is the details on the motor. 4mm cub drag ported (new) modquad head 19cc custom cut domes (new) ARP head studs and caps Wiseco Pistons (new) Hotrods 4mm longrod crank welded and maxload (new) 1-5 ND Duneable Override (new) Direct Drive Lockup and 12 bolt die cast polished cover (new) New Clutches Clutch disengager (pancake bearing) (new) Billet one piece intakes 33-36mm (new) Vforce II reeds Ricky stator adjustable stator plate Used 36mm lectrons on alky This motor is setup to run on alky around 1000ft should make 180-190lbs of compression and has +7 degrees on the plate. This is a complete drop in motor everything you need to make it run except exhaust and filters, and have both of those in stock. This motor with 40mm lectrons and shearer pipes is capable of 105+ hp Not looking to part it out yet would just like to sell it as a whole so I can pay the bill off. The bill on this motor was $3932 before taxes inluding everything above and would be interested in giving someone some credit on a good complete bottom end as well. Andy M&M ATV
  16. Did you run a resistor plug? Like a br8es if not thats probably your problem a non resistor plug will fry a dyna.

I thought all the bikes were running great wish we could have got our dmx lined out but i pulled it after a steering joint bent and couldnt seem to get enough fuel to it maybe it will go next time. Thought the track hooked great we could of had a bit more groming but Tracy was worried we wouldnt get done so he just grommed when we asked.
  18. Are you running a aftermarket cylinder or stock? If they are stock are they ported? We do our case matching on a cnc but only matching to CP cylinders. Stock stuff would be a case by case basis. I dont like epoxy if i can keep from it. It can come loose and get in the motor and trash it.
