260 mains seem small to me for his setup. Hell 280s seem small.

Put chain together and roll it onto the sprocket. It may ding a couple of teeth but it will go. And it won't be as tight as you think. I even do this with aluminum sprockets if I'm in a hurry.

It's never the cases or studs leaking. Like JD said, it's coming from the carbs.

Cmon man. Why in the hell would you want to make a Ti chassis the same weight as steel? We could make an aluminum, wooden, fiberglass, bamboo, plastic.... any material and be the same weight as the steel and likely be as strong or stronger. Weight IS the issue here. So you can teach us which is stronger per given weight or cross section or whatever but you lost sight of why we are debating this in the first place.

I've seen a full Ti drag chassis. I don't know the wall thickness but the tubing diameter looked the same as most chromoly chassis. It flexed so bad that the foot peg would almost hit the ground if you stepped on it. It threw the chain and/or went so violently crooked that it was unsafe to ride.

Do you mean the ceramic ball the goes between the clutch push rods? I've had those shatter and backload and break gears. It happened in 5th gear so the backload shouldn't have hurt anything, but it did. Never used the titanium rod though.

That's what he meant. 14/41 is same as 15/44. Must have been a typo. I think 15/41 would be a decent starting point but not knowing what kind of power your making or what RPMs your motor pulls it's just a guess. What kind of pipes and porting?

Not sure if anyone said it but octane booster doesn't work. Get race gas or av gas to run the 180 psi motor. Then know that your WOT plug checks may not be predictable due to those fuels coloring the plugs differently.

I would think the steel shift forks would wear an aluminum drum quickly. A worn drum doesn't like to shift on an override.

I don't need it but that's a reasonable price shipped. And it looks light.

My super secret spreadsheet says that if that motor makes 110 hp (a realistic number for my calculations) it's possible to run low 3.8, even high 3.7s. 225 lbs race ready is very light. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk

I used to be a big Colts fan and I have a buddy thats always been a Patriots fan way back before Brady when they sucked. I've hated the Patriots since they beat the Rams back in the early 2000s. (I'm from MO so I still had to support STL). For YEARs if I watched the Superbowl or even some playoff games with my Patriot fan buddy I would write "Brady is a fag" on a T-Shirt and wear it under another shirt so I could show it after the Patriots lost. Needless to say it never worked out for me. And even worse, I'd show him the shirt anyway. Anyway to answer the question. Fuck Brady. I don't care who they play, I'm suddenly the biggest fan of their opponents.
