  1. That's badass! Can you actually boat ride Into coves, etc and pull a tube or skier with a boat like that? How many would that seat (above deck)? My boat only does 60 mph top speed, but will seat 12 to 14 people. I'd like to have a big ass boat but wouldn't want to shove errybody below deck. And not be able to pull the tube.
  2. I didn't go back and look where I commented on air gap, only that I remember I was referring to air gap as something different and perhaps wrong in the generally accepted terminology. As I've mentioned before, we rarely even mess with the clutch as long as it's working. The only disagreements you and I had were about some 60' times where we both agreed to disagree.
  3. Well if you're blowing the tires off or it's a bad track and not getting power to the ground then your limiting factor in going faster isn't necessarily weight.
  4. All we're trying to do is save you from buying a bearing support that is likely not needed, and running a heavy ass expensive chain, and more heavy ass expensive sprockets that are definitely not needed. I and others could have answered the question, but chose to try address other issues with your build. All that aside, do you know why it is "breaking" chains?
  5. If you're breaking 520 chains then you have other issues. Even if you and your bike are very heavy the 520 should still hold up. And the weight difference matters a lot if you're drag racing.
  6. If if you can't use that because the bolts are broken don't sweat it.

It could be over powering the floats. Do the carbs have overflow orifices or just vents?

If the needles aren't the issue, the pump could be feeding the engine and hiding what should be a lean carburetor setup.
  9. I'll sell a 392 and a 421 complete for $4k

In general longer stroke = smaller jet needed.

Those are some small domes. No reason to need a main that small AND pjs closed. Even with 0.120" dumps you should have heat on the plugs. Assuming EGN or similar needle. Making the mains much smaller than the dump probably won't do much. The motors not getting loaded or something. Are these 300 ft runs? I agree with adding some timing but something else is up. What pipes? What's the compression (psi)? Is it ported?
  12. If you were running cast before and are just going to hone because the bore is still true then you will have to run the same size cast Pistons. If you want to go to forged you will have to have it bored. Are the old Pistons worn out? May get by with just new rings.
  13. One looks like stock cylinders and the other doesn't. That's the only difference.
  14. Is it not just a regular clippard power jet?
  15. It'll probably go 30s. PPS built.
  16. I agree with that. I keep waiting for someone to critique my wiring enjineeeerin.
  17. Here is for the doubters. Nothing needs grounded to the chassis, except maybe lights???? I don't know because I don't have those. And here is a time slip to prove it runs Edit: that's not the ticket I meant to post. It ran faster than that. But I may post that later.
  18. Nice!! Unless you race for money why wouldn't you post the best? Good run. Takes balls to run that on a Banshee.
  19. I guess I missed the part where you said what gearing. I need that too.
  20. Did it have cast Pistons before? And did you hone it before installing new ones?
  21. What size tires and what mph? You can figure rpm from that. If you're not near 10k your leaving e.t. on the table.
  22. Just run them on the snhomo!!
  23. Although I hate smhomos that's probably 10x more reliable than a high strung 4-poke.
  24. Nice pipes!! It's hard to get Mat to make these anymore. I tried to get another hand coned set like these (but for a Twister) and he only tried to sell me the stamped ones.
