  1. I see that now. Thanks. I forgot stockers didn't have that.
  2. From the pics it looks like the billet bowl is deeper than OEM. Can the main jet pick up fuel from the bottom of the bowl? I'm sure there's added usable volume regardless.
  3. Not sure. The monitor doesn't read any sensors with the key off. All values are zero. But yea probably something else using up powa besides the screen.
  4. Never thought a tiny LCD screen being on for a few days would do that. They were 5 yrs old anyway though. Live and learn.
  5. 2 new batteries later and I finally got this in as well. Ordered it from Idaho or somewhere far away and takes a week to ship from a location 120 miles from me.
  6. It's not that it's top secret, just that hardly anyone messes with stock cylinders any more with CP and now Driveline cylinders that can be bolted on and out perform most ported stockers. PPS does my porting and they are top tier in the drag racing scene. Again, probably a long wait for them as well.
  7. How much are you wanting to spend? Do you want triple exhaust ports? That would narrow your choice some.
  8. Did you fix the problem to cause the loss of compression on only one side?
  9. I've dynoed a motor where CPI kills Shearer. I've dynoed a motor where Shearer killed CPIs. I've never had OOF Snipers do better than either of those.
  10. Fuck that gold digging bitch. She's why I don't have a 2017 in the driveway and lake house and a new boat etc.
  11. Dead as fuck. Doors won't unlock. No door chime. 2 new batteries coming up and 6 new tires. Damn this old truck is starting to cost me.
  12. Back to Diesel thread. I left off at putting on the H&S mini Maxx and dpf delete on my 6.7 F350. I ordered the egr block off plate with egt bung and will relocate the dpf egt probe to that bung in order to get one of the pyros reading on the mini Maxx. In the meantime it drained both batteries from being left on for about 3 days because I hadn't wired it up yet and it I had it set to stay powered by the always hot OBDII port FTMFL. My battery charger would kick off before getting a battery charged and my boost pack wouldn't do shit for it. Had to boost it with my Ole Canyon once and a friend's 20 year old beat up Ranger another. I let it run for a couple of hours. I hope it starts today since I wired up the mini Maxx right also.
  13. Many have ran 100hp motors a long time with helical gears. If your builder recommends it though do what he says. The worse thing to do is follow various opinions (even if good advice) and Internet banter to put a build together.
  14. I wouldn't bother with straight cut gears unless you just want to. Not much bang for the buck so to speak.
  15. And as far as crank being out of phase that would affect the right side as the left would stay in time due to the flywheel being on that side. So it's possible.
  16. You've ruled out most everything besides a leaky head gasket. You could have water in that cylinder.
  17. Mfer can someone move the new vs used out of the diesel pickup thread?
  18. You can test the clutch side seal by sealing the vent tubes before leak down test.
  19. You could buy a lot newer than that I think. What's KBB? I'm too lazy to look. I'd say $18 - $20k.
  20. What year is it?
  21. Is there a six pack rack or anything available? We don't have trails here but if I can take some cold beer along I thought about riding some country roads on a MTB.
  22. Blown crank seal on pto side can suck tranny oil in cylinder producing excess smoke out of that side. Flywheel side crank seal failure can be immediate meltdown as it sucks air in and instantly leans it out.
  23. There are horror stories of people replacing damn near every part in the front end and still having the death wobble. If I knew shocks would fix it I would do that. I had a shop look at it and they didn't find anything wrong. Honestly I don't think they gave a shit or even looked at it.
  24. I've never had it happen towing.
  25. It drives flawless unless both front tires hit a bump at the same time. Then it starts an oscillating in the front end that will NOT stop without applying the brakes and slowing to around 40 mph or less. If I see a bump in the road and turn a tad or hit it with only one tire it doesn't happen.
