  1. Are your Jansen's camber and caster adjustable? If so, more caster (positive caster) will help the bump steer issue to some extent. I find it strange that softening the shocks lessens it.
  2. How about the other new models they came out with? ( Sorry I can't recall the name ) They have 2 lines running between the resivoir and the shock, plus high and low speed damping adjustment. Works if stepping up big time.
  3. No shocks that I'm aware of have the oil and nitrogen "mixed" there is a piston that seperates them. Resivoir's just increase the capacity. Internals as far as shim stacks / pistons / rod guides and base valves should not be any different. Positioning of those components might be. without intimate knowledge of the shocks in question I would not try to swap the resivoirs, you'll need to contact works for oil weight and amount, and nitrogen charge PSI information anyway. If you are going to re-spring the rear shock you should give some serio0us thought to a re-valve too, I'd imagine works could handle this task, if not TCS certainly can. Good luck.
  4. Post some pictures!
  5. If you could post some pictures showing the part you're speaking of it would help us answer your question.

  10. Your best bet would be to contact Works directly and explain to them exactly what you have and exactly what you want done.
  11. Tried a google search with the correct spelling? I think they are located in Southern California?
  12. I run one very similar to the Graydon. A good friend of mine named Bo Crosland made the intakes under the name "Bo's Banshee Manifolds" He sold a version of his manifold to Graydon -Proline for some time. There are a few small differences between his manifold and the ones sold / distributed through Graydon. Mine has been on my bike since 1998, went from stock carbs to his intake with a 35mm PWK A/S - now using V-Force Delta 2 reed valves. Works well for me with my setup. Easy to tune / make jetting changes, and really cleans up the engine's appearance IMO. Here are a couple of old pics I have handy.
  13. Custom Creations ATV located in Highland CA, ask for Kevin (he's the owner) (909) 388-2887. I've been very pleased with his work.
  14. Owned mine since '96 - NOTHING like riding in the dunes!
  15. No question that Gary at Quicsand builds high quality parts, but JD Perf does too, he used to work for a major ATV susp company ( can't remember who ) and bulids heigh quality stuff at affordable prices - and is very easy to work with. Can't go wrong with either one IMO.
  16. Must you polish everyting Brad? Chalk up another vote for a frame designed around better front suspension geometry.

  24. Yes there is such a thing, but it requires some collars to locate the springs together. You best bet wold be to contact Todd Davis at TCS (951) 245-7484 he has the kits all sorted out with a few options too.
