OR Banshee, welcome to the site! How are the dunes up in Oregon doing? I have not been up there since 2000, man I need to get back. Post some pictures up for us, most of the So CAl guys will be blown away with the dunes up there.

Sounds like the adjuster screw in the middle of the pressure plate ( adjusts the balll & rod ) needs to be adjusted. Damn, I was trying to use the word "adjust" in as many variations as possible, I'll do better next time

SOS is simply steel wool with soap "built in" works fine and will not scratch chrome, scotchbrite pads will scratch chrome. Personally I use #00 steel wool and glass cleaner.

Hey JT, I was just thinking (scary thought huh?) when you guys arrive at Pad2 you had better tell the truck drivers to go to Gecko Loop and turn around there so the trucks are already facing the "out" direction on Gecko. Persidents is a busy weekend out there and you guys may have trouble leaving if you just pull the trucks in towards Road Runner.....just a thought.

No matter which filter design you go with, make sure you run a bead of silicone around the inside of the aluminum filter adapter before you bolt it to the air box.

Easy, don't be intimidated by all the stuff on the bars. Take your time adjusting them and all the components on them and you'll be glad you did. Cut the old grips off, saftey wire or grip glue the new ones on....Done!

Comfy as hell! Most of the time I just wear regular shoes while riding at Glamis, heel guards offer good protection too. I'm not a fan of nerf bars so it was an easy choice for me, but they are heavy. Let me know if you want some pictures of the pegs / guards installed.

I'd stay away from the GBC stuff, stick with Skat-Trak, although manny seem to like a similar tire called the Turbo King? I think, by Jims Sand Toys or something, Led will chime in sooner or later, be patient.
