  1. I have to go home tonight and explain to my 3 yr old son (who helped me every step of the way assembling this thing) that I sold our banshee, we'll probably have a good cry and then I'll ask myself WTF did I just do.
  2. PM'd you back Brad. STILL FOR SALE...
  3. You say dual rate? Are they both Eibach springs? Give me the #'s off each spring and I'll tell you your initial rate and how that translates into ride quality....
  4. Congrats! I'm looking for a 50 for my 3 yr old son.
  5. Jesus guys I appreciate your kind words and thoughts, Thank you! but it is just a quad. Now I realize that we all love our Banshees here, but they are just toys. Granted they are lots of fun and great stress relievers but they can be replaced or duplicated. Building them is the fun part for me. Now while I do have more $$ in this thing that what I am asking for it it is 9 years old, the Banshee market on the west coast is pretty soft, and we all know we will never get out what we put in $$ wise, plus like many have stated you can buy a new bike for that price. If someone buys this thing it will have to be someone who realizes the the time & money that was spent, and appreciates aftermarket parts. If it does not sell then it does not sell (I have yet to have one serious offer) I will keep it before I part it out.
  6. Time for a change is all guys, if it does not sell then it does not sell...
  7. No problem. I had great results with the 295/75/16 size. To the best of my knowledge only BF Goodrich & Toyo make that size. I ran the Toyo Opaen Country A/T with great results. I just bought a new 2500 4WD with the Cummins HO, when I lift it I'm going with the Toyos again. Good luck.
  8. Just sold an 00 4x4 1500 with a 3" lift and 295/75/16's, 315's will be very wide (12.5") too wide for me, and yes you need 3"b/s - 4" will rub.
  9. Hey I found some tie downs near the ranger station when I went to buy my pass, so it's all good! Thanks
  10. PC is fine as long as they dont bake the old PC or paint off. 400deg F or so you're fine, will not affect the springs charistics. Coat them and be done with it already, not that big of a decision.
  11. Glad to hear it Stan for a speedy recovery. Did the let you keep his old knee? clean that thing up and put it on his desk at work. Wallrat - the jungle juice comment was wrong.
  12. Good grief man, you've been spending some $$ on that thing! Looking good, keep it up.
  13. Stan, best wishes for your dad I hope he has a speedy recovery. Is he getting one of the cool bionic leg machines at the house? My Grandfather had his knee replaced a few years ago and they delivered a machine to the house that he sat next to for 3 hrs at a crack that he had to strap his leg into and it flexxed / extended his leg for him.
  14. '05 LTZ 400 OEM bolt pattern is 4x110...
  15. Very straight forward, try a search, we just discussed this issue recently.
  16. Chalk up another vote for TCS. Todd Davis is the owner (951) 245-7484
  17. Andy, a very generous offer - Thank You, but I am more than pleased with my present setup. Perhaps your offer could be extended to someone here on the HQ with OEM components if they provide an un-biased opinion. I was not looking for a pissig match either, glad we can agree on that. Hopefully no hard feelings, good luck.
  18. Lets see some f-ing pictures already!
  19. I'm not bashing anyone, I was meerley defending Kevin who happens to be a very tallented fabiractor and a close personal friend of mine, when you implied that because he used to work for fireball his products are duplications of theirs and therefore no better it struck a nerve. Granted he could not possibly have made the fixtures for some of the bikes you noted above because they had not been produced yet, but we both know the real story don't we? I wont get into that... You post here in what seems to be an attempt to sell sell sell, very seldom do you provide any useful or meaningful information in discussions technical or otherwise. It is always Sand Dragon this or Sand Dragon that. Furthermore you publicly bash other builders (a very poor sales tactic - try that on Glamisdunes.com see where it gets you) yet you skirt around questions pertaining to the design, development, and testing aspects of your products. So I'll ask again... What exactly does Sand Dragon Motorsports design, test, develop, and manufacture 100% in house???
  20. WOW that is a bold statement ^ Are you implying he stole or copied someones design? Choose your words carefully my friend. I'm not sure I understand your logic here. Kevin (Custom Creations owner) worked for Fireball YEARS AGO so what, everyone has worked someplace else before their present job, and hopefully you learn and refine your skills to the point that you can improve upon them and put them to good use at your new job. Kevin built most if not all of the fixtures they use(d) and probably some of yours too... care to comment on that? So what is your point? Please show us another arm that resembles Kevins utilising the spherical bearing & spindle stud. Big deal, Firestone sold lots of tires, and lots of those tires ended up on the Ford Explorer... Just because a manufacturer sells "300 a month for 7 years" does not make them the best around. So please enlighten us, what exactly does Sand Dragon Motorsports design, test, develop, and manufacture 100% in house???
  21. Who told you this? Do you personally know Him?
  22. Bill - the owner of UPP Poly has a set on his personal bike, they look pretty good, just too much bling for me.
  23. "S arm bearings" ? those may be a bitch, A-arm bearing on the other hand are a snap, try a search this was discussed recently.
