  1. I've got one at the house some place, I'll try and find it - I'll just send it to you cause I'm shady like that.
  2. IMS/Roll do not make their own I believe they use either PWR or Fluidyne. Call IMS and ask (909) may be (951) now 653-7720
  3. If you still have factory brake lines ran in tha factory configuration you'll need to remove the caliper form the spindle and "snake" it through the upper control arm. This way you don't have to bleed the brakes. May want to pick up a Clymers manual too.
  4. I recieved the pipes the day I was leaving, Stephen knew this ahead of time. I WAS IN GLAMIS FOR A WEEK , again Stephen knew this ahead of time, how hard is that to understand? Pipes were not mounted or used as stated before, hell Wallrat, SDD, Justintoxicated, and InFlames camped with me, ask them if my bike had anything other than Shearers mounted. Think what you like, makes no difference to me. BTW Stepehen never questioned if the pipes were mounted and used or not, I would imagine he could tell by the condition they were in and how they were packaged that they were not used, as stated before they were returned in the EXACT same condition bottom line.
  5. I have had great results using a dead blow ball peen hammer, loosen teh tie rod nuts, hit the base of the stem with the hammer and they usally pop right off. If that does not work, rent a tie rod puller from you local auto parts store.
  6. ^ Bingo, I was at Glamis for a week between Christmas and New Years, that is why Stephen and I were not in contact. Stephen knew this and was fine with the situation BEFORE he sent me the pipes. His pipes were never mounted / used, and were returned promptly once I returned from the trip in the EXACT same condition ( never said there were dents in them- but the silencers and expansion chambers had some scratches, that I was not pleased with ) like it or not those are facts. Again if Stephen was not pleased with the outcome of our proposed pipe trade I am sorry - I wanted his T5's as bad as he wanted my Shearers, and if he was not satisfied with how things turned out I have offered numerous times to make things right with him...can't do much more than that.
  7. I paid aroud $280 new.
  8. Been running them in the sand very hard for a while now with no issues. LIghter than conventional aluminum bead locks, but heavier than std alum wheels, modular design is a plus, being able to swap you oun tires is a plus, cost ouch!
  9. I've been running a PWR for two seasons now with no issues, fitment was great, cools the bike fine.
  10. Ha Ha, now that is funny, at least you have not lost your sense of humor! Stclark, I was not trying to call you out, but I do appreciate you posting, even though I find some inconsistencies in your story ( you did send me some pictures of your pipes, just not showing close up detail, as the pictures of mine did) I wanted to send you my pipes after my trip so I could test both sets while at the dunes, but never mounted yours upon recieving them and seeing their condition. I contacted you the day after I got home from Glamis. If you were not satisfied with our procedings I wish you would have told me before now, as I would have made every attempt to make things right. Not looking for an argument here, just stating my side of the story, as I have no problem with you. Guys I was not trying to say that Loco was a bad person to do business with, I'm sure he has helped manny a HQ'er. I just did not care for how he butted in with his attacks and off color comments in a situation that was none of his business to begin with. Enough said....
  11. The difference is Wallrat and Broke did not jump to conclusions and make assumptions based on limmited information, so yes there is. Nice, you're right your character needs no defining. Not even close, but you are to ignorant to realize it, not that I need to explain anything to you in the first place, as this was none of your business to begin with.
  12. Good information, thanks Jon!
  13. Alright I feel I have to jump back in here to defend myself once again. I'd like to hear from Stclark if he is up to replying, as to how he feels about our attempted pipe trade some months ago. No bogus reason was given on my part for not rading - the pipes were not in the condition I expected, so they were returned to him within a matter of days in the same condition - I did not even mount them on my bike...Plus we agreed to spllit the shipping charges, and like stated prevoiusly I sent him a brand new chrome brake pedal for his trouble. We had spoken on the phone after this and he was completley satisfied - if things have chnged since then I'd like the chance to make it right with him, but deserve an explination at the very least. 01bansheeke, man are you loco's protege or just another internet tough guy? Ah yes the brilliant mature moderation we have all grown to love here, I don't need to say anymore, you continue to display you character regularly. Frankly man I don't get it - I never had any kind of issue with you ( or you brother ) and this thing erupts from no place, thought we had a mutual respect for each other, hell I've ofered my advise to you in the past regarding your suspension, places to source parts with my personal contacts names and phone numbers, etc..And joked around too - all in good fun. Now I can understand you and Ray being friends but, the blatant personal attacks out of left field were in my opinion un called for. Be that as it may I will probably still continue to frequent the site and answer questions and give advise to the best of my ability, much like SDD (glad you felt the same way man). Wallrat & Stan - Thanks!
  14. Like I explained earlier which you clearly can not comprehend, I Have no internet at my home presently, and no free time at work, ray had my E-Mail address, but must not have been able to locate it, WALLRAT was nice enough to e-mailme regarding the situation, and it was handled accordingly. He was kind enought to send me the pipes for a trip I had to Glamis, I was out of town for the weekend - he KNEW that, his pipes were returned promptly. Not so, not true at all, just don't like the fact that you insist on throwing your inflated ego around this site like you're the chief justice of the HQ, and routinley run your mouth via a keyboard without one ounce of intellect or class, but we have come to expect that from you. Never said you were the reason, but if you feel that way... Perhaps I should, take care all.
  15. Perhaps you are familiar with Ray's side of the story but you don't know the entire story, Ray and I will work this out and he most likley will get some parts Powderchromed at no charge for his trouble, are you his personal business advisor? Does everything have to be a soap opera with you? Must you poke you nose in everyones business and run your mouth? Your brothers deal had / has nothing to do with this now does it? There was no delay in our dealings what so ever, we agreed to split the shipping charges after it was determined his pipes were not what I was after and I even went so far to send him a new chrome brake pedal as good faith gesture, all of which he was satisfied with, hell we spoke on the phone numerous times and he was fine with it. How is that dicking him around? I am beginning to understand why some of the more helpful guys that once posted here no longer frequent this site, some poeple feel thay have to analyze the situation at hand an throw their $0.02 in when they don't know the entire story.
  16. With all due respect, probably best not make comments on a situation with which you are not familiar. You have no idea what someone may be dealing with in their day to day life outside of the HQ. Minkia I responded to your PM yesterday, and your e-mail today - waiting to hear back from you, again I'm sorry for the delay. Everyone else who has sent me a PM - I'll respond to them soon. I bought a new house so I took some time off work to move, as a result I'm buried at work currently, and have no internet acess at my new home until the 20th, plus during the moving process my wife fell and broke her ankle, so she has not been able to help. Not trying to make excuses - just providing some background inforamtion.
  17. Very sorry to read this! Best wishes Led, here is to a full and speedy recovery Blaine
  18. Hey Jon, welcome to the HQ. Tons of useful information on duneguide guys, check it out.
  19. While the sand aspect has been covered well, I'd still like to emphasize GLAMIS as a must visit place for any self respecting Banshee owner. El Mirage dry lake just west of Barstow of the 395 is also a great place to ride. Huge wide open dry lake bed, lost of graded roads and trails that wind around for miles. There is also a great access road along the Calif. aqueduct that lead form Silverwood lake all the way up to Barstow and then into Victorville with tons of little trails in between.
  20. Try the SEARCH feature guys, I remember a similar thread not long ago.
  21. Hammer to fit paint to match! Oh, no that is how I built my Banshee - sorry
  22. Ha, I almost cry everytime I look at them!
  23. I think it's time for some new material up there.
  24. Been there, loan doc's were signed on tuesday. Sounds like housing in your area is just as expensive as southern Calif. It's hard to find a deal on an older house that has not been thrashed, and new homes are outrageously priced and 10 feet apart . It took my wife and I 5-6 months to find a place that worked for us. The market is just crazy here now.
