personal story-never had a banshee, let alone a two stroke except for a chainsaw and a weedwacker.12-01-03 seen a banshee at the local bike shop for sale, remembering all the negetive things ive heard from friends and family, but i had to see it,kinda of a guilty pleasure kind of deal.eyed it up for a while, the store owners son came out and gave me an education on banshees.i thought ok just salesmen B.S. so we talked for a bit,he asked me if i wanted to hear it run-kinda dum question.well one kick fired up.and WOW i was in love.the mechanic came out to see what was up.we talked for a bit more, and i left my number with them if.whent home did a little more research, found the HQ read a bit.12-14-03 bought my first banshee, needed to work some bugs out of the carbs, and im hooked. bottom line if you have a little knowledge of basic mehcanics you shouldnt have a problem with one.if you like to giggle at the sounds of screws being turned unnecicarily a banshee is not for you.banshees have a stigma of being a pain in the ass to keep running but it isnt true at all. sorry for the long post, just venting a bit hope it helps
