  1. At the risk of sounding like a complete dumb ass, I'm going to ask anyway. I have a new Trinity CV carb setup w/a 35mm carb. My problem is when I put the 1/2" spacers under the reed cages the air box doesn't fit. I had a hell of a time trying to get the air box in w/o the spacers... with them just isn't happening. Any useful info would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and did anybody else have a hard time getting the air box in their bike with the CV setup or am I stupid?
  2. It depends on what mods you have. The 35mm will be better but isn't really that big a deal unless you run WOT (wide open throttle). If your motor is ported you should go for a 35mm carb or bigger??? I think both work fine with pipes, reeds, and a K&N. 35mm has a litlle more balls at very high RPM. By going with the CV setup you no longer have to run as high an RPM to get into the usable power band. Just try the 33mm first, if it dogs out on you in high RPM then get a bigger carb...
  3. My Banshee used to get stuck in tiny little mud puddles until I bought ITPs Spider Trac tires. I hook up like crazy in the woods, mud, & snow. I can wheelie in the mud! They look a little out of place on a Banshee but the traction is worth it. I bought them for snow tires, but I liked them so much I bought another pair on ITPs T9 polished rims to match my front tires.
  4. I had only had my Banshee for around one month. Me & me riding group (7 of us) used to ride at a construction site a few mile down the road from our house. One day we show up to ride and we were racing to the trails. I pull off & leave my buddies (on stock Raptors). I'm runnin @ WOT in 6th and hit an 8' deep trench (dug the previous night) for a sewer line. I flew 28.5' feet before hitting the ground and slid 21' feet across the rocky dirt with no shirt! Thank God I always ride with a helmet! Smashed the front for my Shee. I killed 2 rims, 2 tie rods, 1 bumper & 1 shoulder... Oh yeah, missed 2 days of work. But you can bet your ass we pulled that bike out of the trench & I finished riding! Lesson??? Don't run WOT in 6th through construction sites, duh.
  5. I look at like this, if somethings gonna break, might as well be the bike. Let me explain. If I get all tore up, I might need fixed & then the doctor gets all my money. But if the Shee gets tore up, I get to spend my hard earned money on bad ass parts. If both my quad & myself get tore up, of course the Shee gets fixed first!
  6. BansheeBrian is correct, if your from Europe you can register it as a "tractor" believe it or not. If your in the US, there's only 1 way I know of to get the Banshee street legal... Suzuki GSXR or similar engine. Try something like a Hyabusa engine in your Shee & lemme know how it works out for ya. If your gonna do something, do it BIG. =)
  7. My Banshee has given me thumb cramps every since I bought it. I called cascadeinnovations.com & bought an xtra long billet lever. Looks cool & helped a ton. $35
  8. K, thanks. So I guess I should just cough up the extra dough for the V-Force Delta 2s huh?
  9. Different sizes of reed spacers give you the ability to fine tune your quad's powerband to your personal preference. Moving the reed cage further back slightly shifts power toward the bottom end, while leaving it forward and shifting the manifold back will tend to lean towards High RPM. The size you choose depends on your specific mods, you'll want to experiment to find your personal preference.
  10. I need new reeds & don't know if the V-force reeds are worth the extra money. What advantages are there when running V-Force reeds? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
