  2. i know when i split my cases i broke a tin plate that was behind the clutch basket.it bolts to both cases
  3. here the one ive been using for a wile.its from CrazyChickenRacing.inexpensive,cool,light what more can you ask for in a lid.{cigarette hole extra}

  6. have the studs been heli-coiled or just retapped.the shops youve been taking it to sounds like they've butcherd your jugs.that might be your whole problem
  7. mine started to leak a bit a wile back.didnt have the loot for a pingle,so i cleaned it up and dribbled some CA glue(real thin super glue from a hobby shop)and it hasent leaked since

  9. im just wondering why you had it in 4 shops in the past year?that link to trinity,showed the pic of the top of the head,i hope your not thinking thats the bottom. best thing you can do is pop off the head make sure theres an oring where they lay into a small slot,there should be one on the bottom plate around the outside edge,two on the top plate around each spark plug hole,under each dome andaround the underside of each cylinder.that is if its machined the same way as a prodesign head.but the proof is in the pudding,youll find out if its there once you take it off.
  10. like tats said you have to put the spark where the engine lives or the engine wont run up to its potential.doing so with like a +10 you cause more heat and wear cause your firing the cylinder way early in its up stroke,but you have to have it that way in an engine thats spinning up that fast.kinda hard to explain,i found a link its for cars but in theory its the same it might helphow stuff works
  11. i think you might be the budle of sticks,kinda like the short guy big truck syndrome,gotta compansate for something your lacking,by taking it out on this kid.i dont see maverick making his persona bigger than it might be.he simply asked for a riding trip,than you bashed him.he's 17,so what.teens with the right motivation and maturity can do anything a 40 year old can do.bottom line give him a break.if NYUK says he knew his way around a bike, believe it my friend

  14. there should be an o-ring at the bottom of each dome.sealing it to the cylinder.if your burning coolant youve got a leak some where. what cc domes are you running cause if you lost 30lbs and still more than a stock banshee,it sounds like you have over 160-170 in the good cylinder,have you been running VP or some other race gas?thats kinda the borderline of compression for high octane.
  15. go for it,i myself got rid of mine got to be a pain in the ass,but my wife kept hers,only her nips though.my best advise is dont get the ear done that you use the phone with.think about a prince albert peirceing

  17. just once this year,had to track down an eletrical gremlin.i said f-it and replaced the staor,with a ricky adjustible,cdi to a dyna,and the coil with a new one.got it running after two weeks for waiting around for the coil to come in from yamaha.
  18. on my jugs that are bare cast i use carb cleaner and it seams to get them pretty clean.
  19. ive got two sport maxes,with the .25'sone with the 2 speed one single speed,and a rc10 factory gt,with a .12,i race the at a local track.keeps me and the wife happy,and lets me spend some quality time with my neffew and brother.the two speed spot max keeps up with anything out on the track except the 1/8th scale buggies.those fuc$rs fly.and i agree with . on the traxxes fuel it blows!
  20. clean the plugs with some carb cleaner or buy new ones.black sludge = no good
