trinity's are really starting to grow on me. look nice fit amazing, have o-ring flange's on silencers and run really well. mostly a mid-high pipe tho. but on larger bore motors make really strong power overall
-
ok.. on a side note. i am looking for a HUGE chamber silenced cr500 pipe.... out frame. drag alky set up. and possibly a head that actually works on alky for the big single nobody seems to have any interst in the 5hundy except CPI and their pipe dosent even have a silencer made for it it seems " any" silencer will work..

oh the memories.. -
500ft!! 3 tenths. whats it running now? SWEET TO HEAR THAT what "other " pipes were ran? pics of thm at all?? good job !!
-
if trinity cant get the parts you need you might be screwed.. whats the rest look like? a PVL would run very similar. ( and have the same electrical issues also)
-
i dont care what anyone say's lectrons for alky are THE alky carb.. pro's: wont run out of fuel, dont need jets, can be switched back to gas with a simple needle change ( you dont even have to take them off..) the idle set screws can be on the outside of the carbs. they are easy to find parts for they are cheaper ready to go that either new mik's converted OR new PWK's converted. they are easy to tune and set up peep's that dont like them havent been shown how to use them. or are stubborn.. cons: they have crappy flathead screws on them that kinda suck but mic's and kehiens have shitty philips head screws that you will strip out and cuss at also.. ( oh and you wont have to take the bowls off the lectrons to tune them so BLA)

looks home built... is it worth it is it going to break and KEEL U

welp this should tell you that they are very high quality arms.. i have a set of +3's i believe the advantage of that set up is many the wider arm will allow you to run an inset wheel and make your turning much easier and also reduce bump steer. the roll design ones i have see also use 87 warrior screw in ball joints, NOT std ball joints that can snap off if they are adjusted to far out. they are super strong and usually also have needle bearings on the mounting points. they are very high quality and not that chapo crap with hyme joint blow out BULLSHIT. they mostly however are non adjustable so if you have issues you might not be able to work them out. ( most bikes with frames that bent to need a-arms with adjustments need new frames anyways...) you would have to measure them to know if they are +3 forward.. if they are the shock mount will mostlikely be at the back of the lower arm and the top wrm would wrap around the shock to get that much forward.

ihave 250r front calipers on my LSR outlaw with front hubs that are banshee pattern BUT i am sure they are one off's/.. if the YFZ calipers will fit on the ban spindles thats the way i would go i would consider the rear end off the 250r because of the simple brake nut and less parts overall.. the rear brakes work great also. by the way the 250r front brakes with braided lines and ban master are a one finger lockup. and its sweet i can modulate the brake power with one finger and stillhave most of my hand on t he bars. the more and more i ride this chassis the more i love it.

now i just need to get these local guys to go out and get the pipes.. where was the old post about this did it have any pics or whateva?
-
small bore cpi has long tubes before the chamber. usually the big's are closer to the flange and have a larger section right out of the exhaust most big bores are the same size of the flange and smalls have a neck down at that point those look like small bore pipes to me..

you need to ask zac whats under that lil skirt he's wearing.. dang thats was a good night spurd got arrested and his official name was fuck you mutherfucker and the cops were fishing for beer cans, the rental redline's front end fell off, and we all had to hold our laughter long enough for the rangers to leave after " talking " aout their encounter with the can's o plenty -
yes they do and they are available in an 8 to 10 plate set up. i dont know if the magnum and the PE are the same i have had pe's in the past and they were good baskets just never had one long term and never had one in a 100+hp bike with big paddles thats what seems to hurt them the most, high load, although the wiseco 9 plate i had nuked from dirt tires in the sand and dirt. the screws that hold the wiseco together are the absolute worst i have ever seen. but it is an easy fix. order the backing plate, cusions and screws from a mattoon and drill it out and re tap it for the larger screws then sink them down so they fit flush.
-
after all the BS clears the BEST basket for budget builders is the mattoon machine it uses LARGER screws than any others ( besides M+m) comes with the hardest cusions you can get, and has a cromoly backing plate and its cheaper than most.. it also has cusion guides in the back like stock so the cusions wont distort. the PE is ok but high HP and LOAD will blow the backing plate off.. if your not on a budget and HAVE to have the best the springloaded straight cut HINSON is the way to go. springs AND 6 bolts to hold it all together. PLUS straight cut gears.. i have exploded the wiseco's ( they are the WORST out there) the hinsons blow up, the barnet uses and alluminum backing plate ( are you fucking serious!!)

I would consider trade + cash for ?? i'm looking for a newer truck also.. or small sail boat... bike is still all together SO i wont take it apart until a deal is done.

BANSHEE PART OUT CHEETAH, VFORCE, HINSON CLUTCH
camatv replied to BDLOVER's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
ever notice that all the cheap shit that breaks easy has a guarantee on the box or says " high quality?" -
why do you have to keep " rebuilding" them? i would say NO on the 34mm mikuni round slide unless you really like carbs from 1970's.. 28-30mm pwk's would work great also intakes and 34-36mm lectrons on gas would be cool too. the lectrons usually make more bottom end than most other carbs of the same size. why do you have 22 inch mudlights on your bike do you splash through 22 inches of mud on a regular basis? a lighter shorted tire would be nice in the trails unless your boncing over tree logs and such? but then why not just get some big ole 4x4 and do it right>? you will need new throttle cable for the 34's the smaller pwks will fit your stock boots and you can use the cable you have.

ok then where's the pics -
oh its absolutely a waste of time BUT i have 4 drag banshee's and sometimes its just fun to screw with people and i have been wanting to do a true sleeper for a long time. if i need to go fast i can just go get another bike but a LOT of the time there are about 4-6 full drag bikes out there and about 50+ sloww ass nerf bar racers. racing those guys with a bone stock looking bike would be FUN. some people are curious too am i going to tell people hey just chop up your stockers they run just as good as fmf's hmm most likely not i have 2 sets found locally for free so far.. i have a garage FULL of other pipes also. so i dont really need any other ones "just cause they are cheap" i have taken same side shear's off of my old 350cc alky bike and put on t-5's just so i could find someone to race in the past.
-
because of the pj's total bullshit idle circuit it is hard to get them to idle right you may have to go to an even smaller needle OR sell the carbs and buy a set of lectrons or kehien pwk's.. have you raised the idle adjust all the way up? you might be able to TRY drilling the idle circuit to flow more air. i have never done that so i'm not sure if it would work i think you could step up the tube through the choke knob. i'd have to look at one to see if its possible. i have a few in the garage all torn apart.. you could also try to install an idle screw on the slide or if you dare try to use the cable to do it but i'd think that to be a last resort with the cable. thats a cool ole h-2? there!!

i have a set of trinity's and a set of 35,s
