  1. even with blue locktight they buzz right off with my impact? even the 120plug in dewalt i have buzzes them right off.
  2. yea those guys are WEIRD>> NOW purpose built street bike conversions that are done right thats differnt....
  3. i think a "trend " is something thats cool now but turnsinto somethign stupid once the "new" wears off. like vanilla ice. or mc hammer parachute pants or stupid gay ass neon colors on gear ( wel some of them are trying to bring it back umm no i dont think so) or basically fololowing something because your bud did it and your trying to fit in. like that fat chick at the bar he did er last week and now its your turn. just do what you like if you cannot figure out what you like it may just be that you have no artistic quality's and there are a lot of people that cannot see the " art" in the things we do. ( mostly they say "why are you doing that" "why spend all that money on that pile of shit" sound famillar?) these are also the guys who have the bone stock bikes or 4 strokes with a slip on and cannot understand why you would want to add that billet handlebar clamp. most everyone has a bike or hobby that represents their personal interest's.. as far as a trend its the peep's that cannot se past their own moronic attitudes to apreciate what some of us have worked for
  4. usually they have a power jet in them and the main jet/ nozzle assembly with be very very big. usually the main jet looks HUGE much bigger than any normal gas jet due to being drilled out. post a pic of the carb. most all the time they will need powerjets to supply enough fuel.
  5. i prefer dual 28's over any single carb set up.. plus the cost is not that much.
  6. now whats better? a PORTED motor to the t-5's or an all stock internals with all the bolt on's? i have played with both and i like the porting and minor massaging of stock componets..
  7. i figure this if the company that sent me the stickers isnt sponsoring me i'm not putting them on my bike... i'd rock some hq stickers..
  8. ok i'm a translator. here i'll give it a try: what stroke are you running? are you looking for stock cylinder sleeve? if your on stock cylinder and the sleeve is sticking out that much i think you have a 10mil? is there a spacer plate on the cylinder or is the head cut out for the sleeve pop up? you need to mix your alky at least at 32-1 with a castrol based oil only or you will be eating top ends all the time. also if your running in the very veyr cold you need to do some other things to it to get the temps up they can freeze the reeds if your not careful what i think he said is that he has some cylinders that the sleeve is sticking out the top and he wants to duplicate that so that if he blows a top end he can just switch them out real quick to get back to racing and that a while back he tried running straight alky with no oil added and blew the shit out of it he thought you might get a kick out of that ha ha
  9. i need some asprin did i understand your giving some vf 1's away with bad reeds? thats the worst thing about vforce reeds the reeds break on them and its going to cost about 130 bucks or so to replace them. and at 190 for new ones i just sell my old ones for usually around 120 + and buy NEW cages.. i really like the boyesen rad valves with massive port work done to them. after i spent a few hours with them they made awesome power all over and would rev very high and hard. stock cages massaged a lot with carbon 2 stage reeds work well also. but thats going to set you back at least 100 bucks for the carbon reeds.
  10. wow didnt know that! also TIM at stellar sells ball joints like these for 20 bucks each. he ships very fast also. just for a thought..
  11. ahh the age old question i want a trail bike and a drag bike. buy 2 bikes. one for trails and one for drag..

  14. just buy one from andy at m+m/
  15. t-6's make WAY more low end and midrange TQ than either of the pro circuits OR the paul turners.. are you POSITIVE you dont have a cub? if you really really want low end power you might really want to think about stock cylinders ported to the t-6's and a LOT of compression with race fuel or alky YES i said alky in a trail bike.,. OR buy a 700 raptor.. with what you are describing you might be much happier with a 700 or even a 400 kawa suki dvx my old trail bike was a trial ported 350 with t-6's and 30mm pwk's 20cc domes, lightened flywheel 15/38 gearing! i LOVED it IN THE TRAILS!! lots of low end and sweet ass throttle response it sucked in the dunes dont get me wrong it was fun to ride in the sand wheelie all over the place but the top end was really hinder'd from t he porting and the pipes it felt a LOT like a stock bike with way more hit in the same range. about 3500-8500 rpm's it made 65hp and 45-50 lbs of tq? was very very flat curve
  16. wow honda makes mowers too post some pics of them maybe those are the crappy pistons that come in the athena kits?
  17. post a pic...
  18. 16 ripper is insane.. round these heeer parts tha much paddlaala woo fliper right on ova!! nice pipes!! i'd too love to see a test on a serval ( and of course you desing these for just one style motor and cc and then they drop a new "the shit" cylinder in your lap!! i'd think these pipes would work well.
  19. i'll be using the driveline in my builds..
  20. are your slides in backwards?
  21. its something that if you dont know can get ya. the ones i get in that have non plated slides i sell for cheap. ( 100 bucks) the ones with the chrome slides are worth the extra cash. but i know sometimes its easier to buy the carbs then buy the slides later. kinda space out your cost.... they can also come with copper colord or stainless needles.. the silver needles will wear much less. the ones i have i'd sell for 250. i replaced them with 32mm alky lectrons...
  22. 59- 60 hp is really easy with ported stockers....
  23. really depends on how much you think its worth 5000 yea aint happening... if you JUST put pon the pipes and the reeds and the cv carb you just droped quite a bit on it ( i'm guessing 1000 bucks) so i guess you need to figure out what its worth parts wise and no not what the parts are worth not what your asking but what they will SELL for if you part the bike you will end up with a big pile of extra parts j-frames are not worth shit. ( which sucks) i'm guessing you would get about 1000 out of it really quick ( pipes, reeds, paddles, shocks, carbs, plastic, seat, some other piddly parts. ) + fee's if you use ebay, + shipping and the hassel of shipping the parts i personally have been really enjoying craigslist. might get about 2000 out of the whole bike.. so its your decesion i like craigs list cause the buyers are usually local they can see the parts right there in their hands and decided right there and then if they want them no paypal disputes no stupid i didnt get my parts scams no hey these arent shelf brand new bullshit.
