  1. looks awesome.. you guys should REALLY look at the automotive world of turbos' most of the issues are worked out. and a blow thorough should be able to work well if too much boost is not used.. seems to me fuel pressure, boost pressure, and keeping everything from blowing off is the biggest hurdles.
  2. ok then?? if your trying to sell it please think of a price and post it in t he for sale section if yor trying to figure out what it is i think you got that one down already? if you want some one to try and let you know who built it might try some better pics looks like you took those as you ran through your living room at night with the lights off and the kitchen lights on.
  3. lower ball joints are going to break. there is too much of the joint sticking out of the "bung" at least spend the 5 bucks and get some nuts to help with the load.. i wouldnt ride this bike either.. and yes its all cheap till you snap a lower ball joint and face plant your ass into a tree then spend the next rest of your life in a wheelchair.. that other post on this "mod" those were done much better in my opinion.

  6. all your going to remove is the torrs set up. unless you mount the cdi under the tank or just behind the tank and plug the stator right in to it.. there is really not much "extra" on a banshee harness
  7. kinda interesting how all that happens.. how much do you weigh?? if your a big ole fatty like me the bike may just be slow,. or you have other issues going on i'd also love to see a video of you riding the bike. and i agree DITCH the stinkin yamacrap and the 20-1 thats a LOT of oil its going to make your main jets need to be much bigger due to the overly oily fuel mix. the swirling in the head is an attempt to make more turbulence in the squish and thats something you do want.. in my opinion the trinity's domes aren't cut deep enough to really make that much of a diff. a bike like that should be able to at least hang with a yfz . last year i had a 350cc ported with sst' fatty's on it it ran very very good. good enough to mess with some larger motor's.. the propblem is not necessairly the pipes.

  9. looks like lower crank bearing blew out those look like big end pins floating around on top. cranks trashed. with that much shit floating around its weakend the bearings for sure. i see this happen a lot on older motors the top end gets replaced and the crank lets go soon after the increased comp makes it rough on the already weak from age crankshaft and it goes kabloie. the dieseling and overreving you let it do was also hard as hell on the motor. it was so lean it was detoing on its own that why even after you killed the spark it still ran continuing to try adn get it to run with a bad airleak, and probably totally plugged up carbs and possibly bad assembly may have also caused the crank bearings to nuke. your gonna need a complete motor, probably cylinders, pistons, head and crankshaft, seals gaskets etc and whatever else you find in there thats screwed. if your that lost on it i'd really suggest you take it to someone to fix it OR sell it and buy one with a good documented motor and is already running.

  11. the dirt bike is fast because it dosent weigh anything at all. when the 4 strokes were being intergrated into MX they paired the 450's and 250's together then the 250 4 pokes came out and they were paired with the 125's/ the 4 stroke dirt bikes work fine that motor is designed for a very light weight bike/ rider combo. put a heavy enough load on it or add to much weight to the bike and it suffers a LOT. some people are just dirt bike riders and others ( like me) Are atv riders.. i dont really care either way just get out and ride!! do something@
  12. take those chinese knock off shit carbs off the bike and put them back on ebay where they belong buy some real pwk's and start over. thats what i would do. the carbs jetting should be the same. its a good posibilty the carbs are either fuel starving or they are internally messed up or the synch is way off. you should synch with an squrrel cage synch'r not by sight if you want it perfect. checking the reeds is a good idear. also if the reeds wehre off when you assembled them might check that area for possible leaks on that side also the pipe connections need to be secure and not leaking there either.

  14. seriously call SUDCO and see if they have a suggestion for the needle and mains. you should know the slide cut out also and let them know that. the slide cut should be a number on the bottom of the slide. without needles that are close yoru going to be pulling your hair out on them. also if the cut out is to far off it will off idle like hell. might also want to jot down the fuel needle and seat size. make sure yoru not trying to run pumper needle adn seats on a gavity fed bike/.
  15. you guys shoudl try 45 pilots. would be a lil more snappy off the bottom. i have had to go down as low as 40's on pwk's with a cub. a 400 stock stroke i did ended up with 35 slows and 168 mains.. but always jet to what the motor wants..

  18. b8es, b9es, br9evix, br8evix are all good plugs i liked .18 tho a lil better. you just need to keep the gap tight enough that the fule dosent blow out the spark at higher RPM's are the domes alky specific or just shelf deto 17cc PD's? if they are gas domes you will need to be really carefull on the timing. once you get the jetting kinda worked out at about +4 then you can bumpo it up a lil at a time till it starts having issues and add fuel as you go if needed..

  21. www. sparkplugs.com is a good refernce for NGK's also if you cannot get them use the 4 digit number adn go to a o'reilly's they might have the ngk's on the shelf.
  22. i bet a trans gold powder would look very similar.. i mean in all reality that is one color setup i havent seen at all. except on lowriders and show cars.

  24. the ev's and eg's are out of productin they will be only whats left on the shelves. they have been replaced with the evix iridum plug. i prefer that plug in alky motors b8evix or 9's or br9evix for resistor. if you have a dyna ignition you need the resistor style. gap at .18 tho
