  2. all kidding aside i think it looks good its differnt.. and the color combo's i feel actually dont look bad. that red bike is neat also. i always wonder what happend to all the "old school" drag banshee's i have seen in various magazines guess they have been sitting in someone's garage just wasting away. nice to see them out running again. that red bike deff has some updates done to it..
  3. ha ha this has been funny now a guy thats to scared to ride his 4 stroke cause he's afraid of who's gonna beat him???? thats EPIC!@ what a fuggin PUS tell him to get that bitch out the damn garage and RIDE it i totally understand this thread its about competition if youhave EVER done ANY sport or any kind of competitive playing around you KNOW and i'd say if you got a set of NUTS and a heartbeat and yoru racing and get beat it dosent make you mad? or if you race someone and beat the whole damn line that dosent make you feel good? its fuggin human nature!
  4. wow yea the KLOTZ is an actual octaine booster , fuel additive ETC shelf octaine boosters are absolute junk they kinda are sapposed to clean off the gunk inside the old ass motor yo put themin so the carbon dosent absorb the fuel/ airt mix inside the motor leading to a theroretical increase in hp and detonation resistance.. completely diff concept from klotz.. people use niotromethane, and this klotz stuff all the time. the klotz is not actual nitro i dont believe.. if you want to try it jet for it and rember your old jetting. i know for a fact a lot of the ole 4 stroke dudes have played with nitro. it takes a LOT of fuel and its pretty obvious when they do ( flames blowing out the exhaust pretty far!) if your on alky you can mix it also. but i have never tried that. i am thinking of ordering a small amount of ME5 and give that a whirl. guess i'm tired of racing peeps with a fuel advantage.
  5. shaws work ok but you need to get the right length and be able to play with the nitrogen for them.. i also prefer works on dunner/ drag bikes. the 1 or so lb i save with a marvin is not worth the beating i take from the shocks. rear also.. stock banshee set up right feels excellent. OR r-1 if you want it LOW> if you want a light weight fun to ride shock the fox floats are bad ass. i'm not sure why more people dont think about them on a dune/ drag build..
  6. water in your carbs or inside the airbox will cause the motor to lean big time and cause a high rev situation..
  7. that looks like black/chrome powder? i bet the camera adn the sun picked up the flop thats cool really hard to see the color changes powder can do in the sun.
  8. going from pwk's to air strykers your not really going to notice much difference. they are sapposed to jet a lil easier from just off idle to less than 1/4 idle thats it i know on my banshee i put pt around at about half throttle and ride either WFO or idle.. i have had both on similar motors and couldnt really tell the diff.

  10. there is also a LOT of crap being sold .. bikes with ""new top ends" and "4mill" that are NOT. lots of lies and BS out there right now. i usually get at least 1-3 craigslist" specials" every month.. but yet i cannot seem to sell my 2800 buck banshee thats turn key ready to go with documented all new internals. brakes that work, and all the lights work and its not falling apart or has ASE bolts jammed into it here and there. or missing half the plastics/.. or a bent ass frame, or a missing vin number. i get tired of hearing oh the guy said it just needs a (clutch, tune, tighten, ) adjustment and thats all it is.
  11. yup thats for the tach. the top of the case has the area for the rest of it early cases still had all this machined out. and had plugs and such to cover the holes on the outside.
  12. sleeving is best to do with some cylinders that the sleeves are trashed in 66's would be a good canidate.

  19. good luck. i mean i never really smoked a motor due to 927 i just PERSONALLY dont like it after being inside a bunch that were ran with it.
  20. yea now from what i understand about blow through carbs set ups. as the pressure increases the fule pressure has to increase also. ifiit dosent blamo no fuel in engine exhaust heat goes sky high turbo spools super hard and deto rears its ugly head and the top of the motor blows off.. OOPS! no again i dont know what all your doing with a turbo set up but the one i seen of his ran great so not sure why your having issues with it since you bought it? unless the set up has cnaged significantly

  23. here is a chart? http://www.seoconsultants.com/charts/inches-decimal/ from what i understand the turbo is going to be difficult to spool unless you are building a lot of heat in the pipe. to get alky to do that its going to be as fine tuned as it can be idle, off idle and mid is going to be nearly spot on its going to need to sound like a gas bike.. and then you are going ot need to be carefull about burning it down.. get the tune right should run bad ass. i would really think if your not really really really good at tuning a turbo adn alky would be a big challenge.. i personally wouldnt try it without billet bowl'd alky lectrons. with as easy as they are to change jetting. wouldnt be as hard to do.
  24. what are the mains at adn dump tubes.? why not like a 115 dump and 115 mains with a pj.? spooling the turbo off the line is going to be the challenge. yoru gonna need a stutter or slip the hell out of the clutch.. plus your gonna need to be spot on with the low/ mid of the tuning. not stupid fat rich like most set them up ( alky)
  25. yeap! bad thing is 927 is one of only a few oils that mixes with alky. but then again so does klotz.. in gas motors you have to run it for a long time to really see the build up. takes about 6-8 months. the worst oils i have seen were yamahalube ( horrible) and the 927.. most others seemed ok. but in gas bike i still prefer the walmart brand outboard tcw-3 oil. its kick ass. i have had really bad cases where the buildupo in the port actually blocks it off. !!!
