927 is know to seperate at real cold temp that is why some switch from it. Also some oils such as 927 are good for Alky where as others are not. Just be sure to shake the tank. I run 40:1 Castor 927 all year. I find it funny everyone now runs 32:1 a few years ago everyone ran 40:1 some amsol guys ran 80:1 with the stuff thats good till 100:1. Must be a influx of new banshee riders. Most good premixs are good till 60:1. I run 32:1 for break in then switch to 40:1. Ive never seen anyone have a problem running 40:1 Id say 32:1 is over kill and certain castor oils will probably gunk up your engine more with a rato of 32 or lower. JMO.
Ran bellray for years, honda oil, spectra, 10w40 motor oil and now atf. Shifts way better now with atf. I wouldn't waste my money again on the bellray. A lot of builders have suggested atf if its good enough for them its good enough for me.
Stick oem. Most e bay aftermarket cdis advertise more power. They make it by upping your timing. Problem is they say its between 2 to 5 degrees. You never know for sure what it is. Oem with adjustible timing plate.
Hold it close to your ear and shake it. If you hear the magnets rattling around its probably bad. It will sound like sand. If you dropped it or hit it with anything it will bust them loose.
I bought a cheap plastic style one off E-bay. It looks like the brandname ones but was like $30. It seems to be great. I wouldnt pay more for a cool name but I would only buy a plastic one. They seem to absorbe a blow better then a solid metal one. JMO
Yea I was more so wondering if there was a happy medium and if anyone had any experiance with one. I talked to jeff about it and he thinks it can be improved through out the range but nobodys done it
