  1. What is the point of the arched swinger? Are they lighter? When comparing them to a straight round tube swinger they look like they have to be heavier. Do they hook up better? Or are they just stronger? They are cooler looking.
  2. cylinder studs double nut and work back and forth till they come losse. Cases same and pray. Let them soak wd40 you do not want them to break.
  3. Just went to Hatfield in OCT for the trial fest with my +4 with no skid plate. A big rock totally destroyed my brake rotor climbing a big hill.
  4. I wouldn't put too much weight on it. The person who wrote the review had his bust on our first ride. Since the rack is able to be removed it is a little loose. The bouncing around will oval out the pin whole and get bigger and bigger allowing more and more play till the weld breaks. Probably the shittiest 6 pack rack there is IMO. Good idea but does not work in the real world.

You probably could have just found the link in the same amount of time it took to write the same response Loco already wrote. Also there is a difference in some. Some are hallowed and lighter (such as RDZ).
  7. Man these look awfully similar to rdz. Isn't it rumered that shearer copied the rdz pipes? Did he copy these gears or is rdz making them? There listed on ebay.

  12. Will do. The only guess I can come up with is weak spark. I don't even think its week but who knows. I have a good tested oem stator. I switched to a nology over stock. I have another flywheel comming just in case. I took my whole wire harness apart and soldered any connections and tested all the wires. The only thing left would be a new cdi. From what I've read they don't get weak they just fail. Might try one for piece of mind. I have good compression 164 on both and no leak at all on a leak down test. Maybe the carbs who knows. Maybe porting. Might add another ground as well.

  15. Well I hope your right. Im not that concerned about the power out put. I think it runs great. Mostly concerned about hurting the motor. The plugs look great and it has no lean symptoms. I have a temp guage as well and its never got hot. I have a new flywheel comming. Ill try it and see if that changes anything.
  16. I need a good oem flywheel with no loose magnents. If your not sure how to check don't bother responding. Send pic if possible and price shipped to ohio.
  17. I assume your saying you have fattys and stock carbs on now. If so a 330 27.5 pilot 4 clip from the top. Would be pretty close.
  18. I first used a feeler guage and set it at .017 I think. I now have it at .016 and same thing
  19. Carbs are synced with fast tool. Floats are adjusted. Slides open all the way. With a size or two bigger jets sommetimes there is power there and sometimes there isn't. Just doesn't build power smooth. With the 152 it revs clean. It spins boadies on pavement no lack of power. One size bigger and it runs like crap
  20. Both plugs look the same so I dont see how the carbs are bad. I doubt both carbs have the same exact problem. I have no idea what could be causing this. My only guess is weak spark. New coil (old OEM ran the same), new stator (OEM and tests good), second Flywheel (Bought it on Ebay and I think there may have been a VERY faint rattle doutb its causing this but who knows).Oem CDI with the plug cut off and differnt connectors installed (I guess it could be a problem but I doubt it). It runs pretty strong now. On the road stabing the throttle it spins the tires pretty good through 2nd. Other gears come up with a plus 4. Plugs look good. Any suggestions. Should I just run it? Doesnt look lean.

  22. Would a bad flywheel have symptoms that go away with leaner jetting?
  23. I started today at 158 and a 48 and it was real boggy at all RPMS. It got better as I went down. Did the plug chop when I got to something that ran good.
  24. My previous motor was a stock cylinder FAST 4 mill play port. It seemed to run smaller jets then everyone elses as well. Mine ran real strong so I just figured there was nothing wrong 5 years no problems. For this build I put a new OEM Stator and an unlightened oem flywheel on but the carbs CDI and wire harness are the same. Its a differnt motor but still likes way leaner jets then anyone elses . To me the plug chop seems to look good. Im not sure if this is something I should keep chasing or its just the way mine is. Is is possible something is wrong with the carbs and they flow diffently? I purchased them new off FAST when I built the 4 mil stocker about 6 years ago.
  25. I could never run those jets. I don't know what could be wrong. Oem cdi oem stator all check fine had an oem coil a few weeks ago and same thing
