did you screw both tie rod ends on at exactly the same time? Is their gunk in the threads keeping the tie rod from turning farther? That was my problem.

yeah, they have the self bleeding bolts, and also the kit you bought off ebay, is it a little cup jobby with tube you hook to the bleeder valve? You have to have brake fluid in the cup for it to work properly. Just hook it up, keep the master cylinder full of brake fluid and keep pumping. Make sure you dont overflow the cup, and make sure you close the valve before you disconnect the tube. If they still feel spongy, reconnect the cup, and keep pumping. Remember, air wants to rise. It will do it slowly in brake fluid, but if you dont do the whole system, when your checking, its gonna rise some, and then you'll bleed some more, check it, it'll rise some, etc etc. Usually when I do it, you'll get the main air bubbles, and then some good fluid for a little while, and then a couple more bubbles, and then fluid for a good while, and then they'll be that last bubble or two that didnt want to come out, and those are the ones that are probably making your brakes squishy. Every time I've used one of those cups, on any vehicle, its worked like a charm.

1st wanted to say, happy belated b-day man. Go get yourself some of those morning after alkaseltzers. I've had hangovers so bad that I couldnt move my head without it feeling like an earthquake, and taken one of those and 30 to 45 minutes later am pretty functional, it wont get rid of it, but it'll get you through it. Might have to take a couple doses throughout the day, depending on how bad it is. It also helps, no matter how drunk you are, how half way to passed out you are, to drink a glass of water before you pass out for good. It'll decrease your hangover bigtime. Good things to know for next time, because guaranteed, their will be a next time. I cant drink Jager anymore because of a bad night in a bar, that I was forcefed them every half hour, on the hour, from happy hour until close from a buddy of mine, but I remember the good ol days of drinking a big ol bottle and a half of the stuff and being drunk for days.......lol....good ol days, and I'm only 25 Take it easy man

hey meat, I was thinking today, I think I remember you said you were gonna make up some maps of where main locations are or something to that degree. I was also thinkin you might wanna one day grab a can or 2 of spraypaint, 2 or 3 colors, and go make a couple cool trails that others could follow, that dont know their way around the place. With a bigger group riding it would make it easier to see where people went when the dust clears in front of you, and you could plan before everyone heads out, a red for like a main route, and then a veer off to blue, or orange etc etc. Get what I'm saying? When I was down at Hatfield-McCoy last year, they have numbered posts for the trails, and my buddy and I, just the two of us, planned an attack from top to bottom of the trailhead, and then just ripped through it. Was some of the best riding I've ever experienced. Like 3 hours of pure hardcore ripping it up, no trail gone over twice, and only 2 breaks for me to lighten up my gas can on my back. Man I wish I could go.

I try to skip all the main events, we usually go down the end of august beginning of september every year. Last time we got there on the last saturday of dirt days, week whichever one in the fall it is. It's nice to go then because all the trails are all cleaned off of debris and the riding is usually pretty good. It's rained a lot every time we've gone though in the last 2 years. Bring skidplates and some good hillclimbing tires. Some of the hillclimbs are insane, and try not to look over the edge often, it'll give you second thoughts of what you are actually doing. Third gear pinned around a wide bender with just some brush and a good dropoff on the other side. Watch out for the washouts as well, you'll come around a corner and the outer edge will have a piece missing from being washed out. Always do ride throughs before going all out. I recommend Rockhouse trailhead. To make it from one end to the other I'd recommend an IMS tank, or at least get a backpack and a 2 gallon gas can to throw in it. Every time you stop take some out to make it lighter. You wont notice its there really. Actually you might be able to make it with a regular tank if you choose trail 10 I believe it is. They just made a new cutthrough when I was down there last time that cut out a big roundabout section. Good times man, really good times. Where you staying at? I wouldnt recommend Paradise Island.....its a shithole, literally....it used to be a dump that they turned into a campground/god's greater than thou type place. And their septic system sucks.

I assume you paid the guy through paypal for them. Contact paypal about the situation that you are willing to send the a-arms back and are waiting on a reply from the guy and a tag to send them back so if he contacts paypal they already know about the situation. Better to be proactive then have to be reactive. I'd email the guy one more time that if he doesnt reply back to you, that it is considered a done deal. he only has 30 days with paypal to file a complaint I believe right? How long has it been since the transaction? I'd say hold onto them until the 30 days with paypal is up, if it pulled right from your bank account, let your bank know about the situation as well, if he comes looking for them after the 30 days, I'd say that you'd be in the clear with them. Went through a similar situation with Recreation Unlimited, (Now NBS distributing) (piece of shit company), with a piston kit a while back. They never came looking for the pistons, but after I informed my bank that I've tried to make numerous contacts, they credited my account, and ended up pulling funds from them in a legal battle somewhere I'm sure. You've tried to contact him, the ball is in his court now.

little bit of good primer and a good matching paint should cover up the mayhem a little bit.

Why Does My Banshee Smoke More Out Of One Side?
. replied to nickxc's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
ah, the ol one side smokes more than the other question. Dont worry mine does it too. I'm guessing its the design of the stock carbs. I dont know if it has to do with the choke setup, or just the way the carb is made from two different molds but good luck getting rid of it smoking like that. I saw on here someone (forget who it was), when they went to another carb setup the problem went away. When my top end went and I pulled the pipes off I noticed the one pipe was a little richer in buildup on the inside than the other. I believe it was my left side, but I could be wrong, been a while since I pinned the throttle and looked back to see which one was smoking more. When my shee is warmed up, the one side when I have it pinned will put out a little smoke stream (not real rich), and the other you dont see at all. If you wanna try playing with your carbs, engine, anything else you can think of to get rid of it, go right on ahead, and if you figure something out, let me know, I've been trying to figure it out for 2 1/2 years now. p.s. If its smoking a lot more on one side than the other, then you might have other issues. -
You can get hepatitis from anyone.....I'd be proud to say I got it from Pam

To answer your suggestions: 1. Lee does a great job at just letting this site be how it is. It's a free flowing site with many freedoms that arent "allowed" at this other site you speak of. 2. We do have sponsors, but we arent going to beg them to come display their ad. Bluetraxx is multi-atv organized while bansheehq is for one thing.....many of our members are also members of bluetraxx, and sponsors know that, so where would you put your money? The ones we do have are mainly banshee oriented, or are a part of this forum. We dont need sponsors to make this a better site. Take it for what its worth, but your suggestion for more sponsors is a little retarded in thinking. 3. We do have a chatroom, but a lot of things can get lost in a chatroom. Sure their is nights that their are some there shooting the shit, but for the most part, most information stays in the forums, allowing us to search and find answers that may have been lost if they were just taken in the chatroom. 4. Who are you to ridicule someone else, especially meat. All he's ever done is been helpful to anyones questions that he can answer. He's got a site that is basically a walkthrough of banshee information, engine rebuilding, riding, parts list, torque lists, etc etc. It's alright, you ride a raptor, we understand your feebleness of trying to make yourself feel better by putting down others. 5. Many of the times we talk shit about BT we have good reason. BT obviously doesnt stand behind that freedom of speech theory. I've seen threads locked because things got a little out of hand, but nothing to the point that I'd feel my 13 yr old nephew shouldnt be reading it. If you say all we're doing is making our site worse than it is, how is it "worse" in the first place? Is it because you dont have a banshee and cant gain any information from this site? I really tend to find it quite funny how people come on here with 400ex's, blasters, raptors, and many other quads asking, I know this is a banshee forum, but I was hoping you could answer my question about "their quad". And the cool thing is, about 99% of the time we can give them their answer, or at least send them in the right direction. Obviously something they werent getting from the "other" atv sites. And most of all, I'm just sorry that you're a bitch.

Gas Tank And Plastics For Sale
. replied to BrokeStonedBiker's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
quick question for you, I've got my IMS tank sitting in the garage at my parents and havent looked it over real well. Doesnt the radiator plastic mount to the tank plastic? If so how do you mount the radiator plastic with an IMS tank on? -
I just want to make one point. Dale Sr. would have never driven a full lap around the bristol pit lane if he knew that he didnt have to. Jeff Gordon still cant get the hang of it after 2 years......3rd times a charm I guess. He's an alright driver and all, but a good driver wouldnt of made that mistake once....let alone twice.
-
what the heck you need them for? Trying imitate janet jackson?
-
the funny part is its not even for a banshee

where you live?
-
I've been riding the Hatfield-McCoy trails for the last 2 years with 2 1/2 gallons strapped to my back in a backpack. I've got a helmetcamera for this year so I broke down and got an IMS tank. I should be good to go for quite a long ride now. And all I have to do is carry premix measured out for 5 gallons now and hit the pumps up at either end of the trailheads. It'll make things sooooo much easier.

you gotta stand your shee up to put it on that stand right? Make sure you take your airfilter off first before you do. If you stand your shee up it'll drain all the gas out of the carbs right through your airfilter, and clean away any oil in the filter.

is your problem that your crank keeps spinning that you cant get the flywheel nut tight? A good foot on the rear brake pedal and having it in gear can help that problem. Havent taken a flywheel off yet.....not sure what your getting at.

I dont have a problem finding neutral.....just usually happens at the most inopurtune time......I hate catching neutral shifting between 1st and 2nd.
-
go with a 200w aftermarket and get yourself some handlebar mount lights. 4 lights a blazing makes for good night riding.

they have this naval jelly stuff (its pink), you can get it at wal-mart in the automotive paint section I believe. It will reduce rust to as small of a spot as possibly it can, usually smaller than the eye can see. what happens is that it'll get a little pinhole of rust in the chrome and then spread on the top of it. Any way you do it, its gonna take some arm work, but thats your best bet, besides rechroming. If its really bad, I'd consider the latter

at my parents place they live on a private cul-de-sac. I've ripped that thing up and down the street reving out third and then having to lock it up to stop. I've had the cops show up quite a few times, usually some newbie driving by with a stiffy to write me a ticket. Pulls in and tells me that I'm not allowed to ride it on the street....so I tell him I know, rip down the cul-de-sac and come back past him. He'll flail his arms for me to stop again, so I stop and he's usually either starting to write a ticket, or tells me that if I do it again he's gonna write one. By then I tell him he better not do that or I'm just gonna rip it up and throw it on the ground....and take off again. Come back and he's usually out of his car by the time I come back up.....had one try to grab me as I went past, but I stop, he wants all my information etc. So I give him it, and he gives me the ticket......and I rip it up and take off again. So he starts writing a littering ticket....and I come back up and tell him that he's wasting paper, that this is a private cul-de-sac and if he could please get out of my way so I can continue to ride my 4wheeler in peace. He usually gets all gung ho at this point threatening to return after he finds out whats up with the private street......and never comes back. I kinda find it funny....have had it happen 4 or 5 times, by cops I've never seen before. On a side note, the one lady that used to live down in the one house down in the circle of the cul-de-sac, instead of just letting me know her boyfriend was on an important business call, and couldnt hear because of all the noise, she had to pull her car down right into the middle of the cul-de sac, just being a bitch. I confronted her on it and made her feel like a retard because she could've just asked me. She's one of those snobby bitches that think that they are above you, and better than you types.

I agree, get some collateral from him. The blaster is basically yours anyway, your the one who paid for it and are making payments for it, and he was supposed to give you 100 bucks for it a month and you dont see that. Just on that I would take the blaster back. As for the rent, I'd go to his apartment, and take things that can be resold, things that he really likes, for collateral. I'd say take 1000 dollars worth of stuff at least to make sure that he'll repay you for it. And if he bitches about it, tell him that he wouldnt even have an apartment to have this stuff in if it wasnt for you. Shit, if he has 1000 dollars worth of stuff in his apartment.....I'm sure theres a pawn shop somewhere that he coulda sold stuff off for the 800 bucks himself. Jewelry is worth good money (sometimes), playstation and games worth decent money if he has enough games. Stereo, TV, computer, f*ck....take his couch for good measure.....make him sit on the floor Repo that shit......guaranteed he blew that money on something, you just dont happen to lose 800 bucks. If you know his car at all, see if theres anything new about it, see if anything looks new in his apt that would be like 800 bucks.
