also, hopefully it wont be too dusty, but if it is, you have 2 different ways you can ride, either stay wayyyyy back until the dust clears somewhat, or ride the persons ass in front of you so the dust doesnt have a chance to come up yet, but with a trail of people that'll only work for the 2nd person in line. After you get to know the area, and do any night riding at all (if its something that can happen up there, I know we used to up at tower city), if you turn your lights off and just follow the persons brake light in front of you, its actually easier to see that way, if the brakelight shakes, you know he hit a bump. It actually works pretty well. But it'll be light out until 9 oclock by then so you shouldnt have any problems about all that. Hopefully someone will bring a good beadbreaker, I have a Nac's and it was the best tool I ever bought. I've put big ol splits in my sidewall (8 plugs to fill splits), pulled it off the rim, patched it up on the inside, patched it up on the outside, and it was ready to go for the next day of riding. I used a C-clamp to hold the patches together. A spare set of tires is usually a good thing, and the more ply's the better. I always have my realtors with tubes inside as backups incase I tear my tires up. Chances are stock tires arent going to cut it through the weekend, not to mention suck on the hills. If any of you are looking to get tires for this, I'd recommend getting some 20" blackwaters. Or get yourself some back up realtors to have as a spare. You'll make it up any hill with either of them on. Most of the hills have a commitment point where you cant turn around anymore. Be pretty positive your gonna make it, cause if you dont, you better hope you can hold your shee there until someone comes to help you. A 4x4 quad with a winch sitting at the top would be ideal. And you could get a nice cold one after you make it Damn I really wish I was going......when you guys are there you gotta talk about setting up another get together in the fall (just dont make it in the beginning of september, or the weekend of 17, 18, 19 in september) I'll be heading to Hatfield-McCoy either the end of august or beginning of september, any of you are welcome to come. It's probably the sweetest trail system on the east coast. Crazy crazy trails that will push you to your limits, incredible hillclimbs that just cut back and forth and keep going, and awesome scenery. This was about 5/6 of the way through the trail, was a big open area with this little hillclimb going on, it was a much easier climb than some of the climbs back in the trails: "took pictures out, to big and I'm sure everyone has seen them" This is where the south trailhead is that we came out to after riding for 4 hours in the rain, sand/mud type dirt, mainly under the cover of trees in the woods. We come out to this, and on the trail as I came out first into it, were purplish flower petals all over the trail.....it was like in the wizard of oz when they come out of the forest into the opiate field. I locked my brakes up and just looked around:

what you should notice over the stock ones (were they stock petals?) is more of a throttle response, and torquiness of the engine more. I know when I just went to dual stage reeds over stock it completely changed my shee and felt like I had more control over it.

You ever think that maybe these people that are commiting these crimes would be doing it even though they werent smoking pot? Pot usually becomes a biproduct of the life that they are living to try to cope with their rollercoaster of a life. Thats pretty funny, because if you paid any attention, half of us dont smoke any more. I'm speaking from experience of my past. You've got such a one track mind its ridiculous. Maybe you should go smoke some pot to open your mind to new ideas. I remember cutting perfect and near perfect lights back in the day with my 72 nova, we'd smoke the whole way there. It doesnt slow your reaction time down, it just makes you concentrate less at moments sometimes, and even that is a reach. When your waiting for a light, your concentrating on it no matter how stoned you are.....another statement from someone that has never been there. I like how all these doctors have these points and ideas that they get from guinea pigs that are smoking for the first couple times and get really high off the stuff. Hell, I get higher and all dizzy from smoking a cigarrette than I would a joint.....even till this day and I havent smoked in basically 3 1/2 years.

It'll give you a warning, all of a sudden it will get really fast. When mine went down at Hatfield-McCoy we were up in the trails and all of a sudden my shee got real fast, like hold on fast again like when I first put the pipes and stuff on. I thought I might of just cleaned it out on a stretch (running in a higher gear to save fuel). But got out of the trails and was on the road back to camp and the one piston ring let go. Made it back to camp, but just my experience. And if your at sea level with pipes and no other mods you should be sitting at like 125 or so I would believe. 120 is a good margin and what most shee's sit at (unless in really high altitudes or really low altitudes. Whatever it is, it should sit at a constant (around 120 somewhere), when it starts dropping, you know your engine is starting to wear out. I'd say your ready for a rebuild, do it before it lets go, it could cause a lot bigger problems than a bore and a new piston kit.

pull the head and look for any coolant leaking on the gasket. I had to reuse orings on my coolhead once and was leaking coolant a little bit (not noticeable out the pipes or anything), and it was pressurizing the coolant. It'll gurgle just for a couple seconds, stop, and do one last gurgle thing right? It's either boiling cause its hot, or its being pressurized.

I'd work something out with you if it was adjustible, I'm looking for a wider axle, but I need to be able to cut it down when I run tight woods. I already have offset rear rims, it'd just make it gihugic.

It is proven with people that smoke a lot that the thc will coat the nerve receptacles slowing down thinking processes etc. But it is also proven that if you stop smoking it will also disappear from those receptacles allowing your thought processes to get better. And thats just hardcore smokers that have a problem with it. Once or twice a week, isnt going to have the same ill effects. I love how people that have never smoked on a regular basis put down stuff and make these comments on heresay. I've been there, and have been to many other places as well. The only way to truly know and be fully knowledgeable about it, is to have gone down that road. And I can tell all warning signs from a mile away, not to mention when I'm out working in my truck, if someone drives by that is smoking, I catch it every single time. Life's gonna be fun for my kids when they are teenagers

whats your elevation? Mine let loose at like 95-100 psi. But I was at 1000 ft. If your up 3000 feet or so compression is gonna be lower

Listen to boonman, he knows his chit. Also look into the super swamper TSL radials, good long lasting quiet tire that will get you out of pretty much anything, air them down for the sand and they'll be good to go as well

Just dont be standing down wind when they kick that nitro in.....It'll send you running and crying. They are amazing to watch, so much power. I like watching the funny cars, they're crazy. Like rockets on their sides. You get a big long rocket, of course it'll go straight, but get a short fat one and its gonna go all over.....thats kind of how the funny cars are.....and they still keep those suckers straight.

My main thought as to why it isnt legalized yet is because of the flow of it in and around the country. You think government officials dont know about this, It is a billion dollar business and I'm sure that money is filtering to legislature. Why would they legalize something that is putting money in their pockets one way or another, when if they legalized it that money would go to govt and not them personally? First of all, Marijuana will not hurt your lungs unless smoked constantly for many, many years. The reason lung cancer is caused is from the chemicals and what not in cigarrettes. They kill the cilia in your throat after being covered in the tar and such, and then cant clean your lungs anymore. Marijuana has less tar, and is not smoked as often as cigarrettes usually. It will not kill the cilia in your lungs and throat unless smoked like a fiend for years, allowing your lungs to cleanse. Not to mention the fact that if it was legalized, you could get thc inhalers and cut out the whole tar/lung cancer issue all together RJ, you bring up some alright points, but how many peoples lives have you seen destroyed because of alcohol? I used to smoke marijuana, and would prefer to smoke it then get drunk. I've never used it as a stepping stone to other drugs, sure I've tried them, but they werent for me. I smoked for 6 or 7 years and it hasnt affected me in one bit. The THC buildup will slowly dissipate from around your braincells (which causes the slower thinking habits and forgetfullness and such), and my lungs are clean. Marijuana doesnt affect you like alcohol, doesnt make you swerve all over the road while high, make you throw up because you smoked to much, etc etc. How many people you know have died from overdosing on pot? I dont feel legalizing it would lead to more crime and more drugs etc etc., it might even lead to less. If their was a good euphoria drug out on the market, it would tend to keep people from needing to go somewhere else. And as the supporting your habit with crime crap, many can function and still perform their job on it etc. and it shouldnt even be used that way, should be used and follow same guidelines of alcohol. It's not addicting like the other drugs, you dont need a fix of it so you go steal something to get that fix. You wait till your next check comes in and then go get a dime to enjoy the upcoming weekend. I smoked all through highschool, graduated with honors, went to college for civil engineering, and realized I can make more money driving truck so went that route. All my buddies have done the same with graduating and college.....and we smoked before school, after school, in the evening etc etc.

Hey dumbass, what year was this "Senate" bill passed anyway that we got this 4:20 saying from? What year was it that California legalized medical marijuana? It was only a couple years back if I remember correctly I remember smoking at 4:20 on 4/20 back in 9th, 10th, 11th grade whatever in highschool.....about 8 years ago now.....and I'm sure its been around quite a long time before that. definitely way to high. It's basically a 9 year old stock quad with some nice plastics. The airbox being removed is basically only good for people that ride strictly sand, DG pipes are the next best thing to stock, and the boost bottle and spacers are just playing with where the powerband comes on a little bit. Best thing going for it is the fullbore plastics and the razor tires if they arent beat. I'm not trying to bash your quad or anything, just giving you an idea. With the way the market is if someone offered you 3 grand I'd jump. Take a look at what the shees are going for on ebay. Put yours up for 2 or 3 bucks with a reserve of 4500 or something and see if someone bites, and what it gets up to. Then you'll get a good idea of what its worth.

what kind of terrain are you gonna be running with those baja belted tires? They are decent tires at best. Had them on my dodge dakota. Only thing they really hook up on is sand/snow etc. They are horrible in the mud compared to something like a super swamper TSL radial. And they are quite annoying on the road as well, and only lasted me like 15,000 miles at best (and i'm being generous) Look into the TSL radials. My buddy has them on his blazer and it goes through EVERYTHING in 2 wheel drive. They are quiet on the road (unless air down a little you hear them around the corners) and they look pretty good as well. Unless your gonna be running a lot of sand with them, I wouldnt get the baja belted.

Here is the top and bowl view. The clear on it is the aliens mouth on the front, and the hole in the bowl are real close together and the same size. You actually have to pull your mouth off of it a little bit to get it to clear all the way, but you also have the option of not putting your finger over the clear at all and just smoking it that way, which will really f*ck you up if you just keep breathing that way. Only thing I tend to not like about it is that when it starts getting beat it makes you feather the clear because your finger gets hot from being so close. That and you get a little rez dot on your finger.

420 was the call out in california (forget what precinct) for the cops to indicate a "smoking in progress"......and it all just grew from there. I used to see more of that green stuff come and go then most will in a lifetime. If I would of stayed with it I probably woulda stayed away from the radar....but started getting a hold of sheets and handing them off to the wrong person.....next thing you know you'd drive by a cop and he'd be giving you double takes.....phones start clicking......and I knew it was time to get out. Lots of the other big names were getting dropped in the area and I knew it was only a matter of time. Then I started driving truck about 3 1/2 years ago and gave up smoking except on the rare occasion I go on vacation or after a random U.T. comes through. They always happen on Thursday so every once in a blue moon I'll smoke on a friday and then drink a lot of water the next week, and have one of those 1 hour cleanse drinks in my back pack in case a U.T. crew shows up I had the sweetest steamroller ever made. It was about 1 1/2 ft long, all one solid piece of glass, including the bowl going into it, mouth side had a nice little lip to seal around your mouth and was perfect to cup with your other hand. The best part about it was the name printed on the side of it "Steamroller Inc." Then someone stole it, and I got the bowl I've had now for 6 years. It's thin glass and I dont know how it isnt broken yet. I've been on a back road and gotten out to take a piss and it was in my lap and it bounced all the way across the road, and its been dropped quite a few other times. It's a killer to say the least. It hits hard because of the way its designed. Real deep bowl to it which is nice because if you dont have any......when its beat, its never really beat. Have someone pack it and then when its beat you walk off with it, stir it around and get another 5 hits probably out of it. I like to call it the alien bowl for good reason, sorry dial up: front view, piece of the eye got chipped off some how, handed it out into rotation, and when it came back, it was chipped off side views, when its clean, the only thing that is still colored is the red, and the glow from the bowl looks like the aliens brain:

I agree. I'm all for say if its just a straight membership fee, like 50 cents a month, total of 6 dollars a year. If you're to young to have a credit card etc, and mommy and daddy wont let you access a site for information on THE 4wheeler you own, I'm sure you can go cut the lawn, do some garden work, help clean the garage, do the dishes, and some other CHORES that you can save up some money to give them back the 6 bucks to let you onto this site. I'm also for a special program that is like 12-15 bucks that you get access to the Swap Shop. If your gonna be selling or buying on the site and looking for deals, why not throw out a couple bucks to have that privelage. In return, for the first year you get some stickers, 2nd year get a mug, 3rd year get a tshirt etc etc. Lee shells out money and time for this website......when all you have to worry about is a connection to the internet to be able to get here.
