go try warming your cylinders (if you still can) up for like 3 or 4 minutes (probably not even that long, just long enough that the cylinders are warm to the touch, and then do the reading again. (make sure its screwed in nice and snug). Leave the gas on, give it full throttle, and kick it over again until it stops. I'm pretty sure it should read the same, but I've never done a comp. test after riding for a good while. At 1000 ft you should be sitting right at about 120. I'm guessing you are at the point that you'd want to start really looking into a rebuild before something lets go and you have bigger worries on your hands. Get a clymer manual, pull the cylinders (make sure you untorque the head in reverse sequence to help not warp it.), take the cylinders to a machine shop, (35 to 40 a side about, any machine shop in the phonebook should be able to do it)and see what they need to be bored to. Then order the piston kit (150 shipped from a couple different places) and take the pistons and cylinders to the machine shop and they will machine the cylinders for the pistons. Install and your ready for a break in. We've got lotsssss of tips for that as well

This is what happens when its rainy the day before and you head up there, its not as dusty and you dont collect as much dust on your filter, but it sticks to EVERYTHING, like a fine grit....I'd rather have this than the dust field.....your filter will look a lot worse if its dusty:

That sucks man.....lesson learned, In high grass (or pretty much any riding for that matter, including motorcycles on the road) always do a drive thru before you rip through it. I learned that lesson when I was like 15 and on my snowmobile and almost clotheslined myself on electrical wire at like 60......

can you add an anti-vibe setup to a stock steering stem setup? Is their any other cheap way that I could raise the handlebars short of getting a longer steering stem? I remember seeing some adjustment bar thing or something of that type maybe in an ad in dirtwheels?

I'm in love with my adjustible LRD's, you can adjust them for where the powerband comes on, have a nice wide powerband hit so you can ride in that sweet spot at all times. Great not in powerband power and pull just as long as the T-5's. I wouldnt trade them for any other pipe, you can adjust the pipe to your riding style and bike modifications, not try to tune the bike to your pipes, and adjust your riding to how the pipes are.

go with a good plug like a br8eg or ev I think it is. Unless you can find the non screw off top b8es or Br8es....I've had so many tops spin off of my sparkplugs I'll never run a removable top plug again. I stripped one out riding once....it actually stripped the thread from the vibration.....luckily I could flip it over and screw it on a little bit to make it back to camp cause I didnt have my extra plugs like I usually do with me.

If you dont think this whole FCC push isnt because of bush and his people.....U R SOFA KING READ TODD DID He is a decent president, and much better than Al Gore I believe could ever be, cause god if he isnt a puppet waiting to happen. But his ways of starting this war we're horrible. Instead of pushing this WMD thing through the UN and going off on our own with this thing, why didnt he push the fact that Saddam is the hitler of our time, and he's doing it to his own people. ah its not to bad really. On wednsday the smoke coming out of the breather tube was starting to get bad and was bothering me, so when I got done my route I brought it into the shop and showed them....Of course it wasnt doing it as bad as out on route cause I had it opened up on the roads to clean it out some. The one mechanic that does most the work on my truck and has been there for years was like....yup....looks like the engines starting to go..... The head of the shop says....just keep putting oil in it.... So I put oil in it, take it out today....and its smoking so bad that I couldnt take it anymore and brought it back and parked it in the bay right in front of his office and left it running. Grabbed the key and took the spare. Like 5 minutes later the head of the shop calls me and asks me what my truck was doing sitting there still running.....I was like.....just keep putting oil in it I had to sit in my office all day dealing with it....I figured why not let him sit in his office and get some of what I had..... I just got it back 2 mondays ago from getting a new transmission in it, only thing left is the rear......maybe I should start powerbraking it when I get it back.....
