  1. send pics to bws00@yahoo.com, are they a fresh bore or is their run time on them?
  2. pipes were over 600 new, and you cant get'em new anymore. Best pipe in the woods hands down. Instead of adjusting your riding style to the pipe, you can adjust the pipe to your riding style. Moving the pipe in or out adjusts where the powerband comes on in the rpm range. No more feathering the clutch when your climbing hills, or anything like that. Low end torque of a 4stroke, with the top end that matches T-5's if not outperforming them. I'm not just a salesman, I'm also an owner
  3. It's held up great, looks just like the day I bought it from you.....literally, the only difference in how it looks is that I used your box to send another item, and its in a new box now  I'm gonna be climbing huge hillclimbs and need the little bit of extra length.
  4. just remember that those stock pistons dont like the extra hp/higher compression at all. I mean, they last a while, but not as much as a good forged piston. Good to see you man, lol....want your swingarm back? Not gonna be using it anymore, gonna be running a different setup.
  5. for last years taxes I claimed zero with being the only income for my family with 2 kids. It was still at zero from when I was single. I changed it to 3 for this years taxes. I actually saw a good difference in my check, and its actually nice to get a good amount in one lump sum. Lets me do stuff like rebuild my banshee
  6. thanks guys, got the garage all cleaned up, getting the boxes, shelving, and workbench ready in the next few days, and gonna start tearing down this weekend, methodically labeling everything. Pretty much everything is starting to get a tiny bit loose, or will be within the next engine build or two, so everything is getting an overhaul. Got about 4 grand back more than I thought I was gonna, so I'm splurging a little bit.
  7. Looking for top of the line stuff, gonna be getting this banshee back together and its gonna get beat on. Example, my all balls axle bearings lasted me about 3-5 hours, those cheap ass things couldnt hold up to the off camber my rear end was dealing with climbing up the rock climbs. All the other bushings and stuff are gonna be replaced as well, just looking for a good quality kit.....if someone makes one. I know there are stainless steel bolt kits out there as well, looking for the most inexpensive/good quality/most complete kit
  8. I've been snooping around on here every blue moon or so. Lookin in the for sale/wanted sections, and images, seeing how everyone's been doing. Blew my top end almost 3 years ago now, and dont want to put my ported and meathead polished top end on that stock crank thats been through 2 top ends now. Shee is up on its stand, under a cover tucked away in the garage. I had a lot go on with vehicles (transfer case went in the suburban, fixed that. Then the rear went, fixed that and sold it), bought my wife an excursion. July comes around and i'm on my way to work, dude turns right in front of me and totals my dakota, buy a 96 f-250 with 60,000 on it (460), and 2 weeks later the trans goes. I got married 2 novembers ago, raising a family, etc etc etc. Been redoing parts of the house and such too. Making a long story short, its been one thing after another thats kept me from being able to rebuild the shee. Got a good tax return coming, so its time to pull the sheet off of the shee and be able to have that shit eatin grin again. John, I'll give you a call in a couple weeks, maybe I can drop the frame off to you at your work or something, black chrome sounds nice. Time of day to call so I dont wake you?
  9. I know their was a guy on her jankab that used to do it? Is he still around? Want new bearings, tz on the output, trued and welded Let me know who's out there that can get it done for me. Gonna start tearing my shee down next week for its overhaul Nyuk, if you get a chance, send me a pm where you get your powder work done, dont know what I wanna go with for color yet, something dark and shiny
  10. wish I was heading to glamis for the weekend What's the shock set up for? Pics please to bws00@yahoo.com Would you be willing to sell just the linkage?
  11. what's their wattage consumption? Are they dual voicecoil? I'll take them either way How can I pay you? What's the size of the amplifier?

  15. Be careful of a 4wheeler that will only run when pop started sort of. You sure your not getting spark? With it only running when pop started, and running like crap, it kind of sounds like an air leak.
  16. make sure your choke tube between the 2 carbs isnt cracked, and installed correctly.
  17. I have a set of coolhead studs as well, and am looking for stock studs if anyone else wants to do a trade. Let me know, thanks. Or if you just wanna sell them.
  18. that's ridiculous for a price unless he's got a couple acres. Either that or they better come by to put down a pre emergent, and then after 2 cuts put down a fertilizer, do a weed and feed, do a grub prevention, a summer feeding, insect preventer, 2nd pre emergent app. and then a fertilizer. Hell, I'd do it for 1000 bucks if I lived near you, and i'd be dropping at perfect times to get the most out of every application.
  19. lol....gotta love bastard dogs.....got a 7 month lab of my own that's given me 6 or so holes in the backyard to fill this weekend. I found a new site that all the regulars from the scotts site started up because they werent happy with the way the new scotts site is. I'm not very happy with it either, and the scotts people dont really care about the issues to much. The site is: http://lawnforums.freeforums.org/index.php My uncle is coming up from North Carolina and we were going to head down and grab a cheesesteak (gonna go to Gino's, gotta love that he's a firm supporter of people speaking english when ordering), and then going and catching a Wings game (www.wingslax.com) shuda, lawns lookin real good, wish I could grow a southern lawn, love how that sponginess feels. 91banshee, if you have a clayish soil, you should think about trying that aerify plus stuff from www.natureslawn.com It works really well, and from just one application, I can see the difference in my soil quality. Gotta do a couple more applications over the next 2 months, and then just start maintaining. Should check it out, 1 gallon of the humic acid content in it is equal to 7 tons of manure.
  20. looks good man, you know what kind of grass it is? My front yard is only about 320 sq feet or so (20x16), dont have any good pics yet of the lawn since its been a work in progress for the last 2 years that I lived here. Been overseeding every year, and its starting to push out the cheaper grass, and the few bare spots I've gotten from poa (annual bluegrass), which I have been pulling, are starting to finally slowly fill in. As far as weeds go, I pull all of them by hand, hell I pick up my leaves by hand as well. How is your soil? Compacted? Clayish? That aerify plus stuff I bought, I put it on this morning, and the soil is dry and looks completely different now. It used to have a dry clay look to it in my bare spots with a crack or two that I'd see. Now that its drying out, it definitely doesnt look like that anymore, has more of a soil texture to it. Supposed to be really good stuff Wish my yard was a bit bigger, so every little imperfection wasnt noticed, but its nice that I dont have to spend a lot of money, to make it look good. Hell, a 5000 sq foot bag lasts me a couple years. If you go into the forums, under lawn, and look in the scotts best kbg cultivar, there is a picture posted of what my lawn will eventually look like
  21. been spending a lot of time on www.scotts.com lately. Been working on my grass being top of the line the last few years, and have learned a lot from some really smart individuals on the site. Gonna be doing a complete renovation on my front yard after they come through and redo the sidewalks, and road. Thought I had a decent lawn until I saw some of the lawns on the site (old site had a lot, they just upgraded, so its just getting up and going again). Gonna be installing a sprinkler system, laying my walkway, and getting some really good kentucky blue grass seed from a turf company. I've always been in want for a perfect lawn, and it was always good, and better than anyone on the block, but it just wasnt up to my spec, and now I know how to get there with soil preparation, exact timing for putting down fertilizers and pre emergents, weed identification, best way with dealing with weedy grasses and other weeds. Just put down a product called aerify plus today from www.natureslawn.com It's a pretty cool product, and we'll see just how well it works over this year. Just kinda funny that I'm doing this work to the grass I have (scotts pure premium sun and shade), and no matter what I do, I'm never going to be happy with it now, because of the type of grass seed it is. It's a good seed, just not THE seed.
  22. you dont have to put another top end in it, just another top end gasket kit (o ring kit too if you have a coolhead) My recommendation if you dont have pipes or anything yet, would be to put the top end in, get some pipes, a cool head, some reeds/reedcages, timing plate, bigger carbs, aftermarket intake/filter system, and basically everything you need that will compliment the porting. And then depending on where you ride, etc, drop in a 4mil or get your stock crank rebuilt with new bearings, true and welded, and ported.
  23. no white oem rad covers.....probably the only color they havent made......gotta go aftermarket or painted
