  1. Just out goofin around on a couple of the local lakes
  2. ya know I use the self tappers all the time and know I understand why not to use them. I am dumb sometimes. Because of the tip that cuts through the metal would do nothing for holding them into the tire. Man I need to ride and clear my head. Thanks guys
  3. so if you do not use self tapping how do you start them?
  4. I don't want to spend a shit load of $$ on tire studs and I have read that you guys are using sheet metal screws. Which ones do I buy? Self tapping? I do not want to cause a leak so how do I know what length? Just into the knobby correct? Is there a pattern I should follow(front and rear)? How much psi do I run in the studded tires? Sorry about all the ???'s Thanks for the help and have safe and happy holidays!!
  5. I have a stock 2002 and winter is coming here in NH quickly and I want to stud the tires and ride her on the ice. I was told to make sure I jet the carbs and someone else told me not to worry about it because I havn't touched the jets that came in it so it is probably running really fat anyway (I think he is saying rich). She starts 1 or 2 kicks every time cold with the chock hot w/o. Smokes like crazy at first then as it warms up smokes less. I do not know what size jets are in there know and I havn't done a plug check yet. Do you think I could leave it alone?
  6. If all you have to do is unplug things than what is the kit that is sold????
  7. Hey badlarry where ya from in NH. I just started riding again in NH and always lookin for a good place to go.
  8. I have a cut in the sidewall of front holeshot. It didn't rip the tire wide open just down to the fabric, just enough to slowly leak. Should I replace the tire or can I run it with a tube? I have a tire plug in it know so it doesn't go flat in it's parking spot, will this last in the trail?
  9. when you get there find rt 1 south and then get on rt 1a south and follow the coast line down to hampton beach. The ride there will be very enjoyable. Some nice twisties. Hampton beach on a nice weekend night is very busy. I don't know how old you guys are but if you are in early twenties you will have a good time there. If it is busy there you will sit in traffic from people just cruzzin around the strip. Ussualy tons of bikes.
  10. Are these air pressures the same with all tires? I have hole shots on mine. I have a cut in the side wall of my front tire, should I put a tube in it or just replace the tire? The tare did not put a big hole in the side but the guts of the tire are showing enough that it looses air. I pluged it with tire plugs for know just to move it around.
  11. why is the 927 such a different ratio? Is it a better lubricator, thicker, thinner? What is the diff. on those plugs? Better for stock? Thanks a lot for the info!!!!!!!!!
  12. What is a good replacement spark plug to use on a totaly stock 2002 banshee and what gap. Also what is a good premix to use in the fuel? What octane and mix ratio should I use? Thanx
  13. front stock rims for banshee?
  14. do you still have the stock front rims? and brake light?
  15. thanks guys!! Boonman my wife will be taking care of the watching of the parts purchases. Between this my harley and my truck she'll have her hands full. Although my new son gets all the purchases now. I was shocked when I told her about this deal and she asked what I was waiting for. I am lucky I have a great wife.
