I've got a set of cylinders that need a bore (lots of meat left, can mic if your interested), tranny stuff, clutch pack, cases in great shape, flywheel, stator, couple sets of reed cages, and I'm sure other stuff as well Got another set of cylinders that need a .40 overbore, have half of the piston setup (piston, rings, wristpin, and circlips) Any of this stuff and money thrown your way interest you?

get yourself a hose and stick it on the inside of the filter and hold it against the inside surface of the foam so it pushes through almost like its flowing naturally.....and then just keep working it with your finger and they'll come out.....it'll take a good long time....but it works

took it every where I could. Machinists best Idea was to take it to someone with a disintegrator machine (dde machine or something like that). Guy wanted 30 bucks to get that bolt out.....I said screw it.....I just cut the head off and got in there with a dremel and slotted the bolt and unscrewed it. Now at least I'll be able to buy a shiney new aftermarket head.......right now I'll just have to run the stocker.

you put bigger tires on your tahoe and you better stock up on rears.....my buddies got a small lift and 35's (tsl radials) I believe on his 94 full size blazer (year before they became tahoes) and its gone through 3 or 4 rears now since he's had it. He's rough on the thing, but those little rears are junk. He's gone through one transmission on it as well.

that's the thing. The head is about 3 inches tall with a starfish shape cut into the top and through all the fins down to the bottom. The legs of the starfish are where the bolts are down at the bottom. It's cut like that so you can get an allen wrench down to them.....but I dont think I could get anything on the bolt to be able to break it loose.

It's in there really really tight. I might be able to get away with some epoxy maybe. That's an idea. I've already broken 2 drill bits trying to drill it out. It's hardened steel so it dont want to drill to easy. Not to mention its a 2.5mm bolt........this little ass bolt is driving me nuts

I was putting my t-maxx head back on and using one of those ball tipped allen wrenches to tighten it, and snapped the ball off in the bolt. They are both hardened pieces as well. The head is pretty deep and hard to get to the bolt. I've tried using a pick and a hammer to try to pop it loose but its not coming out. Anyone have any ideas? I'm trying to find a machine shop that can handle the problem and drill it out or something. Only other thing I could think of is to precision weld something to it to try to get the bolt out......

either that or you could stand outside your local catholic church with a donation sign hung above your ass. I dont know man. Why do you think THEY are turning you away. Your age?, How you look?, How you present yourself?. Number one thing, places that hire you are always looking for an ambitious person that they can tell will show up for work every day, and do what is required of them....and maybe more.... Present yourself in that manner and a good attitude along with a clean look (dont get all dressed up for a pizza shop or fast food joing, but wear something respectable), and you should be good to get the job if they need to fill a position.

I would think a lean condition would cause it to melt towards the exhaust side of the piston. Is the hole right in the center of the piston? I'm leaning towards detonation from not enough octane with those 15cc domes in there. You've gotta be pushing a ton of compression, what octane fuel were you running? Higher compression isnt always a good thing. I'm sure if you dropped it some with larger domes it would actually make it run better.

I think I learned what darwin's theory was in 7th grade......that explains a lot. It also explains a lot that you need to ask what it is instead of doing some RESEARCH.

I only have 2 things to add to this conversation. 1. brokestonedbiker......you're an idiot.....you try to type all nice and it probably takes a good half hour to make a post....and then you act like you can type like that any time you want. I've thought you were an idiot since you first started posting here and every post you've made is so far fetched, so completely wrong, or just completely moronic that it makes me wonder how you get by in life sometimes. But oh well......I'm sure Darwin's theory will hopefully take care of you some day. 2. I was driving to Virginia this weekend coming up on this car and was getting ready to get over into the passing lane. I still had some footage between me and them and took a glance at my directions to see about how far the next exit was up ahead. I'd say approximately 2-3 seconds went by, I was already doing 65-70 and when I went to look into my mirror again to get over, before I could even look, 2 cops went blazing past me at like 120 or more. I didnt see them coming, didnt hear them coming, and if I would have gotten over the first time I looked, they would of been on my ass before I would've passed the person in front of me. They were going way to fast.....and come to see miles down the road.....they're fixing some lady's flat tire. And if they've come to find out the cop was doing only 70.....was that 70 at impact.....or 70 before she pulled out in front of him. If he had time to swerve lanes, he had time to be hitting the brakes as well. I t-boned some dude that pulled out right in front of me at 45 mph or so and it just spun that car around a few times.....hit'em right between the doors too. I just dont feel cops should be chasing at that high rate of speed. The chances of death are greatly increased, like what happened at this situation. Sure its good to get the guy so next time...if things go bad someone doesnt get shot.....but now theirs 2 dead people. There are alternate ways of doing things besides chasing at high rates of speeds to capture people in the wrong. I feel the cop was doing his job, and shouldnt be punished with firing or anything of the sort, I just feel what his job is, needs to be changed. Sure, he may have been heading for the school, or something to that degree....but thats what radio's are for. How many cops we're on duty, how many we're in the area. Communication was lost and it ended up just being the adrenaline rush getting to the cops of the chase. They're are lots of good cops out there, and I'm friends with many, but I also know that their are lots of bad cops....that like to push their power. I'm on the road all day and see a lot of what goes on everywhere, see how they drive, see how some react to me, and so on. So in conclusion.....bsb....instead of buying your next bag....go get some typing lessons...how old are you anyway? and the whole incident was an accident on both parties end....it was just an accident that shouldnt of happened

oh yeah......forgot about those extra four I've got a bunch of the dustcaps laying around.....dont know if I have 12 though I'll be heading over to where the shee is tomorrow and check it out. I may have some extra sleeves (the ones that go inbetween the lower dustcaps, dont know about the top ones) and probably have the upper a-arm bolts as well. I'll let you know tomorrow evening hopefully
