  1. not to mention if you used your pw for something like paypal or something to that degree and it was the same pw he could drain accounts and such. I have different passwords for play and for pay
  2. sorry to hear that man, at least you got out with the benefit of the doubt. If you bruised any back muscles let them completely heal, and when you think they're healed, they arent. I've got a muscle that'll never be the same from when I worked for a glass company and the dude I was lifting the glass with didnt know how to lift it correctly. Thought it was healed and did something stupid and pulled it again. It's a pain I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life when doing certain things now. Get well man, so you can ride hard again.

    Red Rear Fender

I've got a stock dark grey one, pretty sure its in good shape (off a 98 I believe). Would sell for 70 with it being in good shape (little scratches n stuff)
  4. got any thumb throttles laying around? Dont want to spend a lot of money on one, gonna need it for the shee I'm building.
  5. I dont know exactly who you would talk to or who you would get funds from, but the land is already stripped land correct? The mining company has no use for it anymore, and I dont know how willingly they'd want to sell. 8bies or whatever that place is called is where I used to ride all the time down near hazleton/Jim Thorpe area. Had this big open area off the highway that was 3 tiers with a good hillclimb inbetween each one and a nice open flat spot on each tier to rip around on. Plus the usual miles and miles of trails and all sorts of other coal pits. They ended up basically flattening all the good stuff out so it isnt as fun anymore for "safety's" sake. I still go up and ride outside of it....but I run into their signs that you are entering their property and I gotta head off another way. Your area sounds like a great place to open up another park. I dont know how interested the coal company would be in partial ownership etc. or how you'd have to go about it exactly though. I would think it would benefit them though, considering they'd be making money off the land that is just sitting there being used anyway, have a good way of having people sign waivers and such, and it would promote the cleaning of the land with cleaning days and such. Maybe do some sort of setup that you could buy your way into owning a campsite much like Tower City has that say its 200 a year for a membership and you get a campsite, or 20 a weekend to ride (must be accompanied by member) 15 a day if your by yourself. 1/4 goes to the coal company, and 3/4 to you.....and you'll maintain the land and deal with everything, all they need to do is sit back and collect. Might be another idea in a way to deal with the situation. I'm tired of all the riding places in the area being shut down because of people getting hurt and suing and stuff of the sort. First NJ, then it was the hazleton area, sounds like you've had your problems up there as well.
  6. If I were you I wouldnt take suggestions from a Pyro
  7. The Realtors arent that bad on the road. Kinda sound like a mudding tire going down the road. You get a little vibration....but nothing thats gonna shake you to death. I've ridden them on the road many times for good distances. I used to always run mine the sand way, and of course the traction was crazy with them, but doing hillclimbs on dirt the one day I reversed them back to the dirt way and surprisingly it was a lot better for the dirt. It allowed some slipping that would make it easier to control the shee. As far as powersliding goes they suck. Very hard to control, not enough side bite, it'll grip for a second and then slip real easy when you least expect it. Only thing I dislike them also is that they are 22" tires. If your not completely on the gas when jumping you'll nosedive hard, and they tend to make you want to sit up on the gas tank. I love the realtors as a back up set to have. They are my tire of choice to put on if I dont know what I'm getting myself into. They will go through almost anything, including getting a 8 plug slice in the sidewall 10-15 miles from camp. They got me back in one piece.
  8. you ever ride your shee with cut fenders and are in a muddy field and go to look where your turning.....9 times out of 10 your gonna get a big ol face of mud....... Mine are still on for good reason. I do have a pair I'm cutting for dry conditions though.
  9. need a stock thumb throttle Pm me if you've got one and the price on it.
  10. I gotta agree with him there. I've got the kevlar belted ones and have ridden some nasty rocky trails with them and not punctured a tire. There's nice gash marks on the sidewall, but nothing has gone through. The same trails with my stock tires, after a weekend of riding I had about 30 plugs in my stock tires. I wish more companies would get into the kevlar lined tires, they are light and can take a beating. I'm still gonna try a round 6 ply tire next and see how they hold up. I know I'll be able to turn better and not push as much through the corners.
  11. good idea on going up on the mains, and that is an awesome diagram sredish. You have an aftermarket airfilter in there? Running with the airbox lid/snorkel on? You might be alright on the mains if you have the lid/snorkel on, but still could probably go up a little bit. I've run the pro flo foam dual stage filter with the airbox mod thingy and no lid for the life of the shee basically and I've had water over my seat a few times. I leave the plug hole open (cut the very bottom off the plastic piece so its not really far open) and my airbox drains really quick if it gets some water in it. I keep the filter well oiled and it repels water rather well. I run 320 mains/30 pilots on stock porting and my shee is dead on. I cant wait to go to some good play porting and get some taperbored 30's to throw on my bike.
  12. 250R......Hands down the best quad ever built in its day for what it was meant for
  13. holeshots work good when they are a new tire, but as soon as they lose their edge, they're performance falls off. I'm sure the regular razr's are much the same. The Razr2's look like a really good tire, and I'll probably be trying them as my next tire. I hit lots of hillclimbs and had trouble as soon as the edges of the holeshots wore off. The blackwaters still performed decently after they lost their edge. As far as 22" tires go you cant beat the Realtors for hooking up, They just arent to fun to jump with.
  14. STOP TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF THE GUY AND GO TO HIS HOUSE AND WAIT!!!! He obviously wont answer your emails or phonecalls or anything..... All your doing is wasting time.....he's probably reading this thread anyway and knows whats going on.....
  15. what kind of terrain do you ride.....if its any type of muddy conditions at all.....I dont like them....I have them on the front and the flatness of them just makes them want to push. They are good for skimming across water and on the right terrain they are a decent tire, but the next tire I'm going with is a rounded tire, either a razr2 or a Kenda Front Max.
  16. Depends on the Terrain......If its a dirt type terrain I'd say some 20" blackwaters.....they hook up bigtime....dont want to be behind someone with them on thats for sure.
  17. Fock1 and Fock2.....so you could be all Get over here Focks and they'd both come running Guiness and Yuengling....The chocolate Lab I'll be getting is gonna be named Guiness Black & Tan Think of some good matching names since they are both the same age, they gotta be a pair
  18. If you want dunes, your best bet is out west. If you want some hardcore, hold on for your life, hope not to die riding, head for Hatfield-McCoy trails. Insane riding at its best. For those of you that went to coalfest, its a lot like the riding areas around there, just about ten times bigger, steeper, and crazier. No big coal banks or anything really, but the trails are the same, just instead of coal its more of a sandy material. It's a place to head for sure at least once in your life.
  19. I just think its funny how they didnt ban you for the longest time......and administrizzle "just dodge the question with...."if you dont like it then leave"" as the only answer he can give, gives his replies......and then you post some more stuff that shouldnt get you banned at all..... and they still ban you. I basically had the same conversation, they moved it to news support feedback, and they put in some shots....and then locked the thread before I had a chance to reply. They're just cowards to deal with situations.....so they set them aside so the problem can never be dealt with. It's just like taking painkillers for cancer......sure, you dont have to deal with it.....but its still there.
  20. dude....whats wrong with you.......go sit at his house.....it's the weekend.....I'd be sitting there until someone came out of the house.....bring lots of food.....and lots of water........one of those pee bags that you can get at Pep Boys.....I'd be there all f'ing day..... If he doesnt have it, go to the cops and tell them the situation......if he got rid of it......that is stolen property he is then selling. Whatever the case is.....I'd find someone else to work on your quad
  21. get a compression gauge.....every 2 stroke owner should have one. It'll tell you whats goin on inside of your engine for the most part. The easiest way to hear piston slap and where you'll hear it most is when your in the rpm band and not on the throttle but not off the throttle either, kind of where your pistons are just floating.....you'll hear a chattering sound. Mine started to do it noticeably and a few months later I had a ring go on it. I was running to high of a compression for a stock setup though (172 lbs) and it tore the top end apart.
  22. I bet ya have a blocked petcock. Had a similar problem with my blaster when I had that. Would run fine for a little bit and then starve for fuel and shut down and not get fuel for a little while.....and then from sitting the particles will move around some and you'll get good fuel flow for a little bit...and then it'll run and block up again. Pull the petcock out and give it a good cleaning......or next time it happens.....pull the fuel line from the tank and see how the fuel flows. To be safe I'd bring some extra hose, shut the tank off, stick the extra hose on so you can keep it away from the bike. If its not that, I'm guessing something is getting hot and cutting spark, but it only happens at wot so I'm thinking its fuel.
  23. got mine today as well. You're the man and it is greatly appreciated. If I can ever help you with anything, let me know.
  24. I got my shirts and they are damn sweet. Thanks a lot man, greatly appreciated. The 2 I got before (my girls and mine) I kind of got a grease spot on it the one day.....so I couldnt use it as a dress shirt, so I started stealing my girls, and she got pissed.....so I had to get more....and now I have the coalfest ones as well for something different. Wish I would've thought to get a small off ya as well.....my 2 year old is a little small for it probably....but she'd grow into it. They are a little blurry compared to the roostfest ones but the quality is great with what you had to work with. For the next coalfest (hopefully this fall), we should have lots of time to set up the shirts to how we exactly want them/ take a poll etc. It'll be fall so long sleeve might be a good idea for something different. The shirts rock and thanks again.
  25. probably because they were posted in the last month.....we lost a months worth of information....oh well...it happens. At least you didnt lose your name and go back to a .
