1. basically just spray down your whole engine with wd40 and see if it makes your engine rev at all (or does it bog with wd40, I forget if its flammable), anyway, around your carbs, around the intake (piece going from carb to cylinders), around the head, and around the bottom of the cylinders. Pull your carbs off and CLEAN them. you may have a jet partially blocked making it run lean and causing the backfire. Pull the bottom of the carb off and take out the big jet, and the little jet and blow through them and clean them. Did you put pipes or a filter or anything on the quad and now its not jetted right causing it?
2. I ran 18's in my stock piston engine and it tore the top end apart. Had the thing for 2 years without a drop in compression and put those domes in and 6 months later the compression started dropping. My crank is still in spec and I'm running another topend with it, but after this ones seen its day its crank time.
3. yeah......sure would be nice if these tire companies would step up and start making some 20" tires that can sling some serious shit and give us the traction we need. When my realtors were brand new I'd sit at the bottom of a coal hill and watch 4strokes and bikes and all sorts of quads get these running starts on these hills and I'd just mosy up to the bottom of it, put it in second, rev it up and drop the clutch and shoot right up it. Boy did I have a shit eatin grin when I came back down past the other guys. Best thing going is the 20" blackwater for 20's, I'm just tired of sitting up on my gas tank with 22"s, and I've got 23's in the front.
4. only place i'd ever run a k&n is in the sand or on the road. I dont trust them worth a darn. In sand with an outerwear would be good since sand particles are bigger. I run in the coal and coal dust would always be in the air tract on the blaster I had after I got done riding it. For the difference in performance, its not worth running a k&n unless your dragging and have done everything else to your quad you can do and want to get that 1/4 hp extra.
5. throw it in a bag and get a cardboard box and that spray insulation, you'll need a couple bottles of it. Spray some in the bottom, let it set up a little bit and then fill the rest. If where your sending it is careful, they can cut it in half and use the same foam to send it back.
6. go and get yourself a beat up shee with a blown engine or something. You'll be miles ahead of the game. Starting from scratch is gonna be twice as expensive and twice as hard to scrounge up all the little parts.
7. unless your running in the sand or dry dirt all the time, just get a pro flo foam kit, ditch the airbox lid and be done with it. For the amount more it'll flow, its not worth it, unless your dragging all the time or in the sand all the time. Now all we gotta do is get outerwears to make a skin for the pro flo uni foam

9. the pipes you are running are gonna be a decent pipe for woods riding etc, but your gonna find in the tight stuff your gonna be clutching a lot to keep the rpm's up. My one banshee has fatties on it and I cant stand to ride it with them on compared to my other shee with LRD's. Its my first pipe for my other banshee and will be the last unless I go big bore adjustable (if they recommend it). They are very nice pipes, never have to clutch in the tight spots, have a nice smooth long powerband hit that allows you to ride in a sweet spot that gives you a lot of torque, and the best part about them is that you can adjust them to your riding style and to the rest of your quad. When you adjust them, it adjusts where the powerband comes on. I have mine turned 2 turns off the latest it would come on, and have a ton of power still off idle, and it puts me in that sweet spot that I'm not quite in powerband but with a little blip I have all the power I could want. The broadness of the powerband hit is real nice for in the woods, and kinda feels like a 4stroke in a way but that 2 stroke top end follows right behind it and pulls as long and hard as a set of top end pipes like T5. I'd run the fatties, see how you like them, and if you find yourself clutching a lot and arent liking the more of a lightswitch powerband hit, and want more power out of the powerband range, LRD's might be something you might want to look into. I love them and wouldnt trade them for any other pipe.
10. dude, take it from me, be a playa. I wish I would've tucked many more girls under my belt before I settled down. Now sometimes I sit and think it would be nice to hit up something else, but I'm dedicated to my girl and will never stray from her. When I was a little younger (26 now), I was with someone that was about 6 hours away and only got to see them few and far between. I stayed faithful but now that I look back on it, I wish I wouldnt have just for experiences sake and I wouldnt have any regrets. You're young, and in college, DONT BE TIED DOWN, you'll regret it. And as the whole thing goes about not having any girls, and once you get one they flock, I know how that is. I went almost 3 years without a girl for a period of time (couple one nighters), but nothing with any potential, and when I finally found someone, they all came out of the woodwork. They must smell it on you or something.
11. just wanted to let you know he's reliable. Bought his beadlocks off him and they came exactly how he described them. Good person to deal with Thanks man
12. yeah, its supposedly with the 99's as well. Actually probably all the newer style models starting in 97. Problem is that they upper balljoints arent greasable and they wear prematurely. I saw a thing about it on a local news channel here about 6 months ago. Mine's a 99 and when I go over speedbumps and pulling forward out of a driveway from a sidewalk I hear a like a clunk popping type noise...... On a side note, ever since I saw the report I've been wearing my seatbelt They were showing all sorts of durangos and dakotas with front wheels missing. The one took everything with it, lower arm, drive axle etc etc.
13. try running the br8es and see if it helps, its always worth a try. I know i was running b8es and it was messing with my helmet cam
14. get the id number and under search type in ending auction early
15. what kind of plug are you using? B8ES doesnt have a resistor the br8es has one
16. Wasnt the 85 an air cooled engine still? If so thats about the right price for one. I see nice watercooled atc's go for like 1500 or so.
17. if it falls through or anything let me know, if I woulda been on here earlier this week and hadnt been dealing with so much crap around here they'd be outta there by now. Let me know if he doesnt take some of it and what you got left along those lines super chicken is picking them up on sun. 285210
18. dirty: after a quick cleaning and some spray on wax (picture not taken at same time, but much more wear and tear from the first picture):
19. LMAO! but... What RU trying to say here about yourself??? 'Mo Hell I may too have to be parting with my banshee, if I don't get this frigg'n house sold I'm gunna have to do something for some money before the end of the year. But I've been thinking about taking up prostitution...could call it like "King's Cock by the Clock--Have Vaseline; will travel." When it comes down to it though, I dunno I'd have the nerve to actually sell the damn thing. 283852 you talkin about your cock or the banshee?
20. Hi.....This is Kelly Clarkson.......no wait...... Jack Mehoffer or is it abyss Maybe I'll just stick to . Some call me Shitty Schmidty Others just Schmidty And a select few call me Bryan
21. www.ImGayForPurplePlastic.com would be my first choice for it. Just playing man, krylon fusion would be your best bet, but I'm sure someone that sells maier or something has it.
22. you'd be fine with a 1 gallon can in your backpack. I've ridden much farther with a 2 gallon strapped to my back. you can fit 2 1/2 gallons in it and I just carried around little 8 oz things of oil with me and hit up the gas stations and could keep going. After a little bit you dont even notice you have it on your back, and lighten it every chance you get. I got an oversized for when I go on long trips. They are ugly, but sure do save you from having to carry gas on your back
23. What was that you wanted me to bring you? The tissues?
24. I voted other for LRD Have all the low end you could ever want, nice broad powerband so you can ride in the sweet spot and they are adjustible that changes where your powerband starts to come on in the rpm range. They pull as high in the rpm's as T-5's do as well. They are just a great pipe that I wouldnt trade for the world, except maybe for some CPI's or something if I rode strictly dunes.
25. oh yeah, I forgot to add......you hear about their latest brainiac idea? Lets give cash for weapons that are turned in. They've given out 1.2 million dollars already. Thats all fine and dandy except one problem. It's all small rocket mortars n stuff like that from the bad guys. They are turning them in so they can get the money to buy bigger and better weapons.......REALLLLLL SMART!!!!
