  1. I'm sorry you paid 700 for a sony head unit
  2. You can get a torque wrench on all the nuts except the two front ones with an extension and the gas tank off. Just realize how much pressure your putting on the nut when using the torque wrench and then use wrench to tighten down the other 2 with the same amount of pressure
  3. I dont think there's one straight part on that quad......
  4. what a phuckin retard.......if he gets all pumped with music like that.....he'd have an aneurysm if someone put some pantera on.
  5. I dont know if mine was cool or not, I was a crazy ass kid but I'd rather not say mine as well. I'll just say it involved fire
  6. .

    stock banshee cylinders

I've got a running set off a 2001 engine that has 120lbs in each cylinder that I'd let go for 325 stock bore
  7. I wouldnt ever pay more than 5500 out the door for one. All you guys that are paying over 5800 could just buy one down the road from me and get it shipped to you and have 5800 into it. I got mine as a left over 2001 out the door for 5300 with 300 in accessories.
  8. yeah, its been updating.....thought that was kinda weird as well.
  9. It still does it with a single carb setup? I've seen this quite a bit over the last couple years asked. Only conclusions I've come to is that its a difference in design a little bit between the two sides. Casting flaws etc. I've heard of a few people going to aftermarket carbs and they've noticed it went away, so I've always thought it was a difference between the two carbs making the one run a tiny bit richer than the other. If your saying the one still does it more than the other with a single carb setup, maybe its something in the design of the cylinders, cases etc, that is causing the one side to run a little richer. Who knows, if it runs good and its not lean.....drive it like its stolen.
  10. theres some pretty sweet pictures of st. helens going on right now: 13:04 on the mountain clock
  11. You would think with a football family that helmets would be a second nature type thing. I guess football is more dangerous than riding an atv.......
  12. still waiting, cant find anything on rb industries, you got a website for them or a phone number?
  13. hit me up with pics at [email protected] Will it work for 28mm carbs?
  14. I bought white tank plastics from the dealer, and then I'm gonna paint a rad cover white so I have all white plastics. I wish yamaha would get off their butt and have one of these last years have a white rad cover. I wouldnt mind an all white LE banshee either. I was just gonna buy one of those carbon rad covers.....and then I saw the price...... krylon fusion would work good for you for the tank and rad cover. It doesnt get a lot of flex so you wouldnt have to worry about cracking and stuff eventually. I gotta go get me some, I've got an extra rad cover.
  15. Well since you want to be a stupid asshole about it let me point out a few things you may have missed. I love my banshee and in no way said that they suck. But if your going to use the whole " old tecknolagy thing" what has changed on a banshee? And they still kick ass right? My openion is that you are a narrow minded bag of ass who probably had a shitty dirtbike when you were a kid and got his ass handed to him by someone on a bike (such as this one) that you wanted so badly for yourself. As far as what we should all do, I dont know about evryone else on here but Im fairly confident that you should probably just f*ck off. That or atleast respect others openions. yeah, but wouldnt a banshee kick even more ass if the engine was dropped in a yfz450 chassis.....or wait, even one step easier, an all aluminum 250R geometry based LRD chassis.
  16. check back during the daytime
  17. post a picture
  18. sur trak's are a much better gripping tire than the spidertrac's. I've felt it first hand, but on a 4stroke though. I'm guessing this track has jumps and stuff so buying a set of realtors isnt really a good idea because they only come in 22" tires. Unless your gonna get some massive fronts to compensate for it as well. (god I wish they made them in a 20" tire). Look into a set of 20" blackwaters. I know they hook up almost as good as the realtors in the coal (kind of like sand), and have a better side bite around corners as well. 22" tires are good tires, they are just hard to jump with and will make you sit up on your gas tank a lot.
  19. good luck finding a white radiator cover and you can get a tank cover for about 25 bucks from a dealer (unless its that fake carbon fiber shit, then its like 250, guess you multiply by 10 for a fake ass graphic)
  20. This is my biggest pet peeve about all these greenbacks crying about global warming and stuff to that nature. Do they not understand that the world will take care of itself. If we warm the world up, it will cool itself down with dustclouds that have chemicals in them that will help repair the ozone layer as well. If they think its gonna blow, its a good idea to evacuate the area, then again, if you choose to live that close to a volcano, you know the risk. You know it will go off at one point again, and choose your own destiny.
  21. Thats what I've always known jungle juice as. Throw some cut up apples in it as well, they soak up the alcohol and are hard to fish out of your cup when its still full and it'll make you drink it faster. Try Jameson, its a lot smoother, triple distilled and a lot better the morning after. I go to irish festivals and when they run out of the jameson and bring out the tullamore and thats when I stop drinking whiskey. My drink of choice is: A pint glass full of ice throw in some jameson, mix in some water, and top it off with a splash of sour mix to smooth it up some.
  22. thats one fine cover you had there, looks pretty familiar. I love mine, still gotta polish out those scratches from the damn border patrol, they arent that bad though. Anyone that ever gets anything done by him, the polishing is top notch. He did my cylinders as well, and right now they are an artpiece in my house until I decide what to do with them.
  23. I'd buy all of it for 5 bucks off you. Basically everything you have would come in a kit if you had to do something on your shee. Prices just seem a bit high for stuff you could get for quite cheap at the dealership, and that would come in a package if you bought it (clutch kit usually comes with springs, gasket kits have all the gaskets etc.)
  24. I went from the stockers to the boyeson dual stage epoxy reeds and noticed a big difference. Those stock reeds are for the birds. My shees throttle response drastically improved and my shee started doing what I wanted it to do when I wanted it to. Completely changed the feel of the quad to say the least, it was surprising. With the V-force I put on, I got a little better throttle response, but I mostly felt the low to midrange pull. I have a very wide powerband hit, and when it started coming on, I could really feel the difference in the v-force. I'm impressed with them to say the least.
  25. could be a couple things. Could be a seal (what side is it smoking out of/backfiring out of?) Could be a reed, pull the carbs and intake off and take a look, And chances are if its idling, its not a piston probably. A compression test would be a good factor in telling. I had a ring catch my exhaust port and when I would let off the throttle it would backfire and that cylinder would die on me. It was producing enough compression when it was moving fast enough to fire still, but not when I let off the throttle. I pulled the head and all there was was a little chip out of the top of the piston. I pulled the cylinder and the whole side was chewed up.
