  2. I'll still give ya the 15
  3. I thought the EPA was just an American run type thing. I know we import quite a bit of 4wheelers, but wouldnt yamaha still be able to sell them to other countries? Diesel engines are also being cracked down on. In 2006 all off road vehicles, plants etc must use a different type of diesel fuel that produces 94% less toxins and not to much farther down the road on road vehicles will be in the same position. It costs approximately 4 cents more a gallon to produce. I have my 2 shees.....and their will always be aftermarket.....if they do cancel the shee....I just hope it has a white rad cover.
  4. I believe the cheetas have more of a ported looking intake n stuff
  5. congratulations Let me be the first to say welcome to the LRD club. Adjust them about 2 full turns from all the way in and your powerband will come on right about where you want it to (depending on gearing you might have to play with a half turn or so)
  6. I've got a atc250 that will hand my banshee its ass.....and its got less than a grand into it.
  7. dont be gay...... Invent something
  8. where you live
  9. got any pics of the headlights? Do they work?
  10. I think I have a pair. Lemme look over the weekend I think I have 2 pairs actually. One is a 20" set on 8" rims and the other is a 18" on a 9" rim I believe. Lemme look though and I'll get back to you.
  11. I thought I was going to have the same problem when I put my +2 arms on and it did take me a week or two to get used to the added width, but once you get used to it its actually a lot faster in the woods. You think the areas are tight with the stock setup, they are a little tighter with the +2 but I can get through them just as quickly as before. Personally I would go with a +1 setup.
  12. I second that
  13. put it in someone else's name. Worst they can do is make you pay half of what the bluebook value is......I would think I value my shee more than what half of it is worth in blue book
  14. I'll take $100 including shipping.
  15. alright, I admit it, it's me. I figured I'd come out and admit it, she's already got my nuts so she might as well take my banshee and tools as well.
  16. got pics of the air filter and air box?
  17. so if the world is spinning slower, does that mean we all lost weight?
  18. send a pic to [email protected]
  19. go with the whole top end......top end kit will be 150, 100 for boring and that leaves 3 hours at 50 bucks an hour for labor.....thats about right.....go get the whole top end done, with compression difference like that you got some wear and tear on those cylinders.
  20. I love mine, do a search, I've talked a ton about them. If you have any questions pm me or I'll get back to this thread to help you some more in a day or two.
  21. I dont really get a bonus from the company I work for, but if we go the whole year without getting into an accident, injury or are late or anything of the type, depending on how much time you put in throughout the year, you get a safety bonus (about 1500 for me). Every injury or accident you get takes off money, so i'm ending up without 1000 (screwed up my shoulder), and then taxes taken off that I'll get about 600. Not really a xmas bonus, and wont get it till february, but its not bad. My real xmas bonus comes from my customers. I pick up over 6000 customers a week, and if each of them gave me a 5 dollar tip I'd be rolling in dough. Doesnt quite work that good but I've gotten more cases of beer and cookies and the like this year than any year past, and have pulled about 1800 in tips. I'm really grateful for the tips I get and provide the best service I can to those who do tip me and take care of me.
  22. holy crap, you got 20 bucks for a set of stock tires? I wouldnt pay 10......I cant believe yamaha is still putting those tires on the shee.....I mean I know they dont want to upgrade and build any new parts but come on......at least give us some traction
  23. yeah, I was gonna mention that, but out of the 5 top end kits I've had for my shees and from my buddies shee, not to mention every other piston set i've gotten from wiseco, they've all been within spec.
  24. top end rebuild: Pull plastic, pipes, gas tank, carbs, coolant hoses. unbolt the head from the #10-#1 in that order, unbolt the cylinders and usually you'll need a rubber mallet to break them loose and pull them off put rags in bottom end so stuff doesnt fall in, pull the circlips, pull the pins, pull the pistons off. Take the cylinders to a machine shop and see what they need to be bored out to 64 mm is stock, order the top end kit (150 bucks including wrist pin to your door from a few places), and then take the kit and the cylinders to the machinist to bore them to the pistons themselves. Install new pistons (facing the right way), install new pins, bearings, circlips, put cylinders on, torque them to 20 lbs in 3 increments (10,15,20), put the head on and torque bolts from 1-10 in order in same increments to 20 lbs and install all the rest of the stuff) Then you get to learn about heat cycles and breaking it in It's pretty simple, and not including the machine shop time and ordering and such it can be done in an hour or two. I've actually done it in a half hour, its always nice to have a backup set of cylinders.
  25. go with 21" mudsharks if your gonna get them. They are a decent tire, do well in deep slick mud and handle decently when your going sideways. I'd recommend a taller front tire though if your gonna run a bigger rear tire. If you run mud get a rounded front tire instead of something like the front shredders, all they do is push in the mud.....I hate mine.
