  1. This is for A-Ams of course Some a-amrs I see like QS, are hemi joints and most others are ball joints. It seems like the hemi's are stronger and better. So it seems like this is an obvious choice for hemi unless there is more to it than this?? Any drawbacks to the hemi's?
  2. Looking for a 35m new or like new carb setup kit. Must be working great and have no prob's. Please post or pm if you have one for sale....
  3. So most recommend the extra $$ for the Elka's...But the res'z are really not needed unless riding really hard like racing..?? Maybe a good set of dual rate Elkas w/o res's?
  4. Ok, in the market for new shocks..Pretty much going to get Works since I think they are great for the $$$...... So, my choices are dual rates with or without rezzies......And Triple rates w/and w/o rezziess..... I was orig planning on duals w/rezzies as I do mostly trails and very light jumps....The rezzies come into play when the shocks get heated up from lots of riding and jumping, right? So for my style riding, would duals be fine, and if so would rezzies be worth the extra $150 or what ..................
  5. I would say the stock airbox with K&N WITH outerwear is your best/strongest bet. If you dont ride in too much mud or water, you might also be able to ride with the airbox lid off...Thats what I am running oh, and if you decide to go back to the stock airbox, you might have to rejet a bit leaner.
  6. According to this link, it says you will need a battery system for a Shee??....Has anyone used these lights with the factory electrical system? thanks
  7. I have almost the exact same problem..I went from a 260 main running "fine" then tried bigger mains. I tried 300's first, it ran ok for 1-2 mins, then nothing but bogging and died. Next was 280 and pretty much same thing. I did put in a pair of Vforce 2's and removed the airboxlid but it still bogged and seemed too rich to me. Perhpas there is a diff in the manuf of the mains? I have stock carbs and Mikuni mains I think....Anyways I am going to verify the plugs (color/oil) and try to crank it up again soon. Any advice?
  8. After playing a few mins, 366, 396, 419, 425!!!! Super Pimp
  9. Ok, I have a stock rear brake hub (2001) on a RPM Dominator axle. The problem is, it seems like when I put the brake hub on the axle, it is quite a bit loose, but not side to side, just front to rear. I have the axle off now and sitting on the side with the brake hub on it. It slides right on easily but seems like the splines are allowing it to move front/rear about the diameter of a credit card or so.... I spoke to someone who had one for sale and they said theirs did the same thing Is this normal at all for this play in the hub?
  10. Still looking for one if anyone has one.... Brock, lmk when you get the pics.....
  11. Well, its not a quad, but close enough....First off road vehicle back in the ole' days......a 1985 Honda 110 ATC...It was the BEST...I thought I was the Sh!t The first "true" quad? What else a 2001 Banshee

  17. Ok, got a lsr alum bearing carrier and put it all together. Then realized I dont have the metal "c-clip" thing that holds the break plate on the rear...If anyone knows where I can get just that part or the exact size (mm) that would be Great..Or if anyone has one laying around, even better....
  18. Well, I went out to take the pics..............and...........the da@m camera dont work I think it got wet during my last ride....it was in my camelpak but it did start to rain Well, the best I can do is describe them until I can get a pic.... The bars are Renthal silver aluminum...with middle bar and pad...Few scratches, but in great shape.... The carrier is silver also a few normal wear and tear marks from a 2001 but in great shape too...I REALLY wanted to post the pics, but did not expect the cam not to work.....
  19. Sorry ya'll..I been a bit busy recently...I am off today, so I will take the pics requested and post them tonight...

  22. Hey Sredish, why would you put the lid back on in the winter? Wouldn't it breath better wheather its winter or summer?
  23. Yes, I am running a K&N with outerwears, full airbox with "modified cutout lid"....However I am soon thinking of removing the lid altogether and/or modifying the air box itself...I gues this WILL also change the jetting....I guess I should get things on par first then make those changes...
  24. Have a good condition stock 2001 swingarm, bearing carrier, New in the box Moose rear axle bearings, stock straight axle (Possibly Pending) extra alum handlebars..Not sure brand? Taking reasonable offers
  25. Are you using the Latest spyware definitions? If not make sure you are updating them EACH time before you scan your pc. Other than that, you might simply be clicking on a spyware link that changes your home page. Have you set the home page back and it still changes? How long does it take to get set back? Have you done a full virus scan to make sure there is nothing else on your pc?
