nice reliable engines that make decent power, pulled mine runnin out of my 90 silverado with 350,000 miles on it, still looked great inside. 700r4 tranny behind it went out at 325,000. Had to make way for my carbd 383.
if you are runnin the pro flow setup with the lid off i would see no reason to run pods, unless you physicaly cant fit the box in there or your running bigger carbs, intake or reed spacers. This is why i ditched my box.

the bearings that come on the hot rods cranks are good enough for someone whos putting out less than 85 90 horse, the tz and maxload bearings are nice, but not needed for most applications.

personally i wouldnt, they will have to check and see if its in phase first, and you dont wanna put to much heat into it! Best to use a tig welder. Site sponsor is worth it in my opionion
