  1. that would be holyman, i dont know what happened to it, but you might search holyman or look him up and dig up his old post if there still on here.
  2. ya i have some insight, send your damn cylinders out already. I know you gotta learn somehow, but i dont think reading a couple books and grinding away is your answer. You need to go to school, or find someone who has been in the biz for awhile and let them show you the tricks. Just because i read a book on regrinding camshafts and porting cylinder heads for small block chevys doesnt mean im going to attempt it. Your essentialy doing both, which can be very tricky. Trust me you will be much more happy sending your cylinder heads out and getting them ported. If your already contemplating using epoxy then your making mistakes. Trust me i never like to send anything out, or have anybody touch my stuff, i rebuild my own automatic transmissions, engines, manual transmissions, etc. But porting is a ART and im not that talented, and dont have anybody that talented near me to show me the tricks. Just my two cents take it how you will Cody
  3. no doubt, glad to hear your ok. Keep pushin on. Cody

  11. Put a set of boyeasen dual stage power reeds with stock cages on a stock engine with stock pipes (lol i know) didnt notice a damn bit of difference. Now i have vforce 3's on the latest build, but did everything at once. Talking with a few builders it sounds like vforce is the concensis! Cody
  12. Thats definetly not a real hot rods crank. Thats some bullshit right there! Cody
  13. Ok first off i dont know a whole lot about what made a difference and where, but i will say that a guy that needs to run 35mm keihens really isnt lookin for a ton of bottom end anyways. After speaking to Alot of the builders on this topic they said that 35mm keihens would probably be my best bet. One thing i love about these carbs is the massive bowls they have stock, now i know they use more fuel but with the dual pingel and those bowls, i think youd have to be puttin down some serious power to run em dry. I do trail ride quite a bit and i have no room to say on my current setup if it will be trail worthy or not seeings how i only have an hour or two on it thanks to the lovely michigan weather. But most of the riding i do is fire roads and i can cruise in 4 to 6th gear threw most of it. That being said, i think carb selection is the last thing you should do after building your motor, if you have a high winder that likes to rev and you run it threw the r's than ya your going to want carbs on the bigger side, now if your just trail riding then your going to want a set of smaller carbs such as 28's. I think almost everybody can benefit from a little bigger carbs though. Hope that wasnt to long of a blah ta blah rant . Cody
  14. 4 to 5 in the rear tires and 6 to 7 in the fronts
  15. Welcome to the site! Cody
  16. x2. How long have those pistons been run in the engine? The wear doesnt look to terrible!
  17. would you seperate the bowls jeff? What would ya be lookin for?
  18. Wow, thats all i got to say. First off banshee eater if you are freinds with 2/2 many you are one shitty freind. I hate people who talk that much shit to there freinds. Second its just like 2/2 said, it all comes down to who has the deepest pockets. Sure both quads have there ups and downs, there pros and cons. But the fact is if the banshee was a slow piece of shit it wouldnt still be being produced from 1987! They did something right, and alot of people enjoy them! Dollar for dollar i think youd be hard pressed to build a quadzilla for the same price as a shee just due to the volume produced of the shee and the aftermarket available.Just check out the for sale section here once, tell me another site that has that much good shit for that cheap lol. Cody
  19. wow that is just terrible, i feel bad for ya alf, hope you guys get this all sorted out. Ive dealt with many on the hq and never had any problems. There are some great sellers on here and its a shame that a handfull can spoil it for everyone! Cody
  20. Must be busy, he seemed to answer mine fairly quick, although i did end up using a site sponsor for a few parts because they pick the phone up! Unless you can find a really awesome deal i would stick with a sponsor because they do pick up the phone, i have however purchased from inland atv, and they were fast and products were cheap so if it is infact the same company i wouldnt stray away if i found a super deal.
  21. jim at passion does good work, but he takes forever!!!!!!!!! No complaints on how the bike runs, but ive only been able to run it for about 2 hours since i didnt get it back till november, he had the cylinders all summer.
