ya that basket is grooved pretty badly, hate to be the bearer of bad news but i think its time for a magnum billet. I thought mine was grooved bad! Cody

its brakes by the way, try bleeding them. Also a all make all model coolant will work or the old green stuff will work just fine. Dont use a dexcool or Go5, it will work fine if you replace the whole system with that type but its a un needed expense. Some will say engine ice or water wetter, used both and they worked fine, never noticed a difference, but i didnt record temp either. Cody

Besides the simple mods such as pro flow kit or pods for the airbox, timing plate, tors elim kit, billet water impellar, the porting is one of the first things id do to a shee to make power, at the same time as porting i would also purchase the pipes id want to complement the porting. Also pancake bearing is a good idea for a reliability mod along with hd clutch springs! Cool head - nice to have if your planing on switching fuel grade in the future Carbs- nice to have but def not needed until you get up there in power Boost bottle- worst piece of shit you could ever buy! the list goes on and on!

I also agree, never been to the dunes but the trails i ride (baldiwin Mi) stupid sand rails and side by sides take up the whole damn trail and you never know if your gonna meet one at the next corner, also little o is really narrow and you can only fit one quad and it goes both directions. Very fun though! Cant wait to get to the dunes and then ill let ya all know what i think after that! Cody

Looking at some 21X12X8 9 paddle skat trak hauler extremes mounted on .190 douglas 8x8's. For my bike The girl need paddles to, she wants to go with the itp sandstars, 20x11x8 on the itp t9 pro series. How do those sound?

anyone tested any shearer inframes or cpis for decibels with fresh packing? Curious on what they put out?

no dead spot in the mid, little doggy on the lowend but thats to be expected with the shearers. Basically havnt had anywhere to open it up and do a plug chop, went on jims recommendations for jetting and seems to be fine. But i just wanna make sure im in the ballpark and okay to ride it around a little until i can get her to a spot and open it up for plug chop. Seems to run fine, just havnt been able to get outta second or third gear right now. Porcelin looks tan after crusin around for a little bit. Does 155 seem rich or lean? What about the 55 pilot, seems most guys are runnin 50. Cody
