Looks damn good Dallas!!!! Glad those wheels worked out for you.

LOL, I agree...If you're Ben's son, you gotta be good people. No sweat Ben, I just didn't know if this new guy was someone signing up here trying to pose. There's been a few of them around, snaking pics and saying it's their bike, etc. I appreciate you clearing this up, I was trying to be "polite" until I knew what was going on....
-
^^^^Invests as much time as I do polishing his bike
-
LMAO :yelrotflmao: Zoey could use a new chew toy
-
That's not your bike, that's mine....I know you're a noob but you could have had enough respect to ask me before sticking pics of my bike next to your name and calling it yours Please take it out of there...

I just got a Marvin Shaw rear shock, do I have to send the shock off to have more/less nitrogen put in it, or is this something I can do myself? I don't know much about the adjustments on this kind of shock, so any help is greatly appreciated. It feels pretty good like it is now, but I wouldn't mind having it just a little bit stiffer. Is there a way to adjust it without adding/removing nitrogen? Thanks!

Got a Tyson 1-5 override and marvin shaw rear shock from him on Sunday. Extremely nice guy and would highly recommend him to anyone. Excellent communication during the deals. Thanks Dallas!!!

LMAO, you crack me up Dallas....don't make me hook up the bottle to my banshee before I go out there :baseball_bat:

I used to clean them real good with an SOS pad, then use a meguiars paint cleaner on the bluing part...then follow up with any good chrome polish and it made a nice improvement. Kind of had a translucent blue on chrome look :baseball_wassat: Granted, it didn't take it completely away, but it didn't really matter because after one ride, they were back to solid blue again, LOL. There are a few different methods of getting the blue off, I think there's some stuff just for it called blue away

I thought that George Ray's was only open on Sundays? The 15th is a Saturday...I might be able to make it, I'll have to play it by ear though  Thanks for uploading the vid to your site, boner! I don't mind at all...looks good

LOL!! For those having trouble seeing the other links or the quality is crap....right click and save target as on the following link. This should be a fairly decent quality version of the races  http://www.nfynite.com/Videos/GeorgeRays.mpg

I noticed that...if someone has a better site to upload the video to, I got it with me at work today. It's only 10mb and the quality is better than what you guys are seeing on those links. I'm guessing the sites must really compress the vids before hosting them  Sorry about that, I'll get something worked out today  I was surprised to see all those pics up on George Rays site, seemed like they really enjoyed us being out there! I still couldn't believe George Ray asked if I could give him a lift on the back of my banshee :baseball_shocked: Yesterday was the best time I've spent on any track, can't wait to get back there.
-
As requested! :baseball_original: I think the quality is better on putfile but hopefully you'll be able to see this one. I have problems sometimes with putfile too. I will definitely thank her for you...she had a great time. We were already talking about the next time we go! Check out www.georgerays.net They have the pics up there now I was a little taken back by the guy that came up to me wanting to buy it...we hadn't even been there 15 minutes! I tell you what, the more I think about it, next time I'm gonna do it and build something twice as fast. I probably have 6 or 7 in my banshee as it sits. Ya know, you having the advantage of alcohol and I had the advantage of tires...we really were pretty even for the day. I got the launches, you had the extra power to pass me on top. It was a damn good day of racing!!

Got a video! Let me know if this works http://media.putfile.com/George-Rays-Dragstrip

I had a great time today! George Rays is a really cool place to run, even though the track isn't in the best condition, the crowd makes it a lot of fun. Dallas' banshee is a real strong runner, once he finally hooked up he was movin!! I always got him out the hole but he would catch up and pass me before the finish. There was a couple of the races we were pretty close at the finish line, others he had a length or two on me. It was all in fun and we had a blast...I'll tell you this much, next time we meet up I'll be on alky too, I wouldn't doubt if we were side by side the entire time  lol, the ds650...I lined up next to a ds650 and all started well till I missed second (hit neutral). He got about 5 or 6 lengths on me if not more before I got going again. I kicked it up in second and clutched the shit out of it and and managed to catch up and pass him a length before the finish. The crowd was loving it  My wife came out and took some video of the races. I'm about to go watch them here in a minute and I'll try and make a video tonight, but if not I'll have it tomorrow night for sure. I do have some pics, nothing major just shots of our bikes together. I had an awesome time and can't wait to come up there again...I really appreciate the override tranny and shock, Dallas. I'll be sending those wheels soon, or I may just bring them up to you. My wife :baseball_original: Thanks again Dallas!

I don't think you have to be a member for any period of time to get the discount, it's obvious you're not joining just to get one. :baseball_original: You'll want to talk to dlnoss on here(send him a PM), he's the one who makes/sells them. He would be able to answer any questions you have about purchasing one and making sure you get the right domes for your needs. I do agree with 1.6i though, you should get pipes before/with the head, you'll really feel a difference in power. -
Ahhhhh, I can't wait!! It's gonna be some fun for sure....I'll definitely have pics and vids to share with you all....win or lose, I'm gonna have a great time. It'll be nice to actually have some competition at the track, I'm tired of embarassing the poor guy on a raptor at my local track

Fresh out the camera

LOL, it will be some good racing for sure! Dallas has got a few things up on me but we'll see how it goes. Hope everything works out, can't wait to meet you out there. I'll bring the video camera for sure  I knew I should have went ahead switched to alcohol ::

Welcome to the HQ!!!! -
You beat me to it!!!! LOL I totally agree

This is the Amsoil I use....

Probably the cheapest and easiest option is to contact Shane on here and get him to re-valve your shock. I've heard a lot of good reviews about his service, and when I was talking to him his prices were very reasonable.

I would try bumping the pilot jet up one and see if it helps. It does make a difference  -
I don't have a raptor but I do own a yfz450...I use Amsoil 10-40  I've never heard of "7th gear "either
