  1. I'm running Kicker compVR 12's now, and like asswhore, I've had them forever. I've never seen a sub take a beating for so long and last as well as these do. I really like the sound they put out, nice and crisp bass with hardly any distortion. The JL w7 subs are great and all, but they are extremely overpriced. You could get 4 badass subs for 800 dollars; I just don't see the logic in spending that much for ONE sub. I've heard a w7 before and it was awesome, but not worth that much cash Me personally, if I had the money and vehicle to cram it in, I would run 4 fosgate punch DVC 12's. I had a friend at one of my previous jobs running that setup, I never heard anything that hit harder for the few subs and amps he was pushing. I remember him saying he was hitting in the upper 160's, lower 170's (decibels) with four 12's.
  2. LMAO, when I saw this post I thought to myself....banshee17racing is a good guy, what the hell is wrong with Jeff? HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
  3. Don't make me drive up to the bronx to bitch slap you
  4. That's what I was thinking...mine bogged off idle when I had a 50 pilot in there, dropped it to a 45 and it's nice and crisp now
  5. When you say all the way in, how much more adjustment is that? What series marvin shaws are they? I'm really interested in the fronts.
  6. So sorry to hear this Stan!! I know how you feel, my wife and I are going through some rough times right now and it sounds like similar issues to yours...I hope all goes well for you and if you want to send me those unpolished parts, I'll polish them for you and send them back, free of charge; maybe it'll help get you a few more dollars per part Let me know if I can help out in any way
  7. Happy Birthday!!!
  8. They're not satanists, they're rappers.
  9. I'm not sure...I never kept up with him. I didn't really care for his lyrics at all.
  10. This is hysterical.... Triple 6 Mafia is local to me, I was listening to all their underground tapes back when I was 14/15 years old, before they made it national. I used to pick up their spring and summer mixes on cassette; good times Their new stuff is OK, the old stuff was the shit. I remember when Mystic Stylez came out on CD. They're pretty cool people too, I have a couple friends that are real tight with them and lil wyte
  11. I agree, but am thankful that I got what I did...When you building another?
  12. Thanks! Haha, I used to make her park outside...but when we got this new house I gave her a smidgen of space for her car since it was a bigger garage. About 80% of the garage is mine...it's dirty, I need to clean it Thanks! It would be, but since I'm running solid struts, the ball joints don't move. They've held up pretty good so far, I shouldn't have a problem
  13. I got you all beat I have about an inch and a half clearance, I bottomed out going down my driveway
  14. I'll have to second that...only "problem" I had with his swingarm was that the holes where the pivot bearings go were slightly too small; had to grind them down a little bit to fit the bearings in...BUT, I'd always rather have something a little too tight than a little too loose No complaints here, his welds and craftsmanship were top notch, just like blueshee mentioned
  15. I agree. When it was time for me to get a truck, I wouldn't look at anything else but full size. I knew there was enough room in the bed for the quad, and I have PLENTY of pulling power for the 16 foot trailer packed with quads. It's a win/win situation. I picked up my 96 GMC Sierra (5.7L V8) for 7,500 bucks...had 152,000 miles on it and I'm at 170,000 now; runs like a champ, everything inside the engine is still original
  16. Looks damn good so far! Really like the idea, great job! Is there any particular style of music you're looking for?
  17. I'm sure yours were used which is why you got them for that good price. Mine were used too, same condition as yours. But yeah, they're awesome pipes, the welds are beautiful, and the fitment was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the quality of my pipes, which I'm sure will be the same for the inframes he is now selling.
  18. That's 550 bare, not chrome. You were mistaken. GRR makes some badass pipes though, I've got the out of frames too and couldn't be happier with their performance and sound
  19. Happy birthday!!!!!
  20. This was IMO the best tutorial on polishing. I learned a lot from it Be prepared to spend some time doing this if you want a mirror shine! I polished my cylinders and was about the beat my head in the wall after the first jug http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...38&hl=polishing
  21. I thought you had a deal going with someone for a set? I still think you should dig deep and get you a set of those GRR inframes
  22. Durka durka...TTT
  23. You sure that was the cause of your problem? Not saying you're wrong, it's just that everyone I ever talked to said to use loctite and they haven't had problems since. I'll definitely have to check my cages now just in case
  24. V-force!!! I've been running VF2's and had no problems. If you do pick up a set of the VF2's, be sure to put a small amount of loctite on the screws holding the reed petals in
