That's why you say fuck the trail riding and start taking it to the drag strip...don't do it Jeff, but if you do, I need your stator Go ahead and pick you up a longer swingarm, some struts, and some tires and take it to the strip before you decide to part with it...You know you wanna do it  to... :thumb: -

Powerball...the polishing tool - not the lottery

I bet it would do well on spokes, just keep it away from the hub and you should be OK since the spokes are rounded. I have another alternative to cleaning wire wheels though...go to your local auto parts store and check out Eagle One chrome wire and wheel cleaner. I used it all the time on some wire wheels I had in the past, worked awesome getting all the brake dust/grime off. -
Literally!!!! LMAO It's amazing that a bronze turd sculpture is at 5,100 bucks....maybe I need to start scooping poop and having it plated

I couldn't believe it...but then again, Tom Cruise was behind it :baseball_wacko: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=200021983816 :yelrotflmao:

I'm not running one now, but I have a Tyson 1-5 override sitting in my garage that I had planned to put in with the cub. I'm thinking of selling it though to get a duneable override, I just haven't decided yet.

I don't know how serious you are about running on asphalt but I would try getting a set of struts like mine for those nights. Having the bike down lower to the ground helps out a lot in keeping the front end under control. Granted, you'll have to re-align the front end each time you go between the shocks and struts but I think it would help a lot in getting more consistent launches and quicker 60' times  Next time you go to the track, see if you can get someone to videotape it for you. Watching my videos helps me out a lot in figuring out where I need to make my adjustments, etc. Sometimes I'll see something I didn't realize while riding it and can pick up a few more tenths by correcting it. If your banshee doesn't like 6th gear, try running a 38 tooth rear and use 1st-5th...see how it responds to that...it may help you off the line too. Trial and error, LOL!
-
Yep, that's what size they are...the hub spacing can be adjusted on the axle and I have them all the way in  Having those little front tires and looking at it from that angle does make the rears look huge
-
Here's mine, nothing fancy
-
What gear are you in when you cross the finish? I picked up a few tenths of a second on my 60' time and almost half a second on my overall time by dropping down to stock gearing. I cross the line in mid 6th gear

I know, silly question but still.....kill switch

Mine did the same thing and I got a used one from NYUK, no problems since. You could always rig up a small toggle switch if you don't want to buy another one. -
why no quad of the month?

LOL! Thanks! I really appreciate it, when I first started the last makeover I had no idea it would turn out like it did  I'm gonna be changing it up again over the winter, but I'm keeping all the ghetto chrome  -

LMAO, I'm glad you know I'm not picking on anyone with those colors, especially you  I just like originality, and it's slightly difficult to do it if everyone's bike had the same color combos  I'd be a plastic painting fool if everone's bike was the same color as mine  -

:yelrotflmao: In that case we've got some seriously ghetto'd out shit here...I guess I should buy a platinum grill so I can be ghetto supreme on my banshee... I think people would get really tired of looking at the same shit all the time...Hey look at that yellow banshee, and his yellow banshee, and her yellow banshee, oh wait, there's a red one...and another yellow one...besides that, isn't yamaha's color blue? But back to the topic, I'm all about a banshee/pic of the month :thumb: -
Your banshee, of course :baseball_original: LOL, when I first got on it I was like... :baseball_whistle: then the powerband hit and I was like :baseball_bat: Those shearers are an awesome inframe pipe I still love my small bore GRR's though, it's amazing how much they react with tuning...
-
I agree, they are a little expensive, but high prices never stopped anyone from buying the good stuff before!!! Yeah, I saw that thread, but I still think very highly of Andy and his work. There have been a few times I didn't really agree with what he was telling me, but in the end, he was always right. A lot of those people that posted in the thread don't know Andy from a hole in the wall. He may be a little slow about getting things done, but it's well worth the wait; I can personally vouch for it. He deserves more respect than he gets

The time I rode a bike with shearers, it had no low end at all, and it was ported...but if you're looking for low end, it's time for a 4 stroke, LOL  The top end with shearers was awesome though, the bike didn't want to stop pulling and like mentioned before, the powerband hit pretty hard. Shearers are the best top end inframe pipe that I've personally felt/ridden. I still like my out of frame GRR's better though, I about shit on myself the first time I pinned it with those on :baseball_bat: I need to build me another bike so I can put a set of Andy's inframes on there...I'm surprised to see no one here has tried them out yet
-
Sure do... :baseball_original: A little further back

i may be getting scammed on ebay for a banshee head.

Just giving the benefit of the doubt for now, he could have a blackberry and gets his emails as they come in, or he could have his email setup where it'll notify him some way when he sells something on ebay...you can setup your email account to send certain emails to certain places, etc. I totally understand where you're coming from, but I wouldn't worry about it until it's been over a week and no package. -
Damn, sorry to hear that man! This just goes to show that any dog can be aggressive, not just big dogs...hope you get better quick, I can imagine that cut on your lip has got to be painful
-
screamnproducts makes some good stuff, I've bought several things from him off ebay. All high quality and shipping was quick

If you're going to go with Toomeys I would get the T5's instead. I agree with 2strokesmoke, you'll probably still have trouble beating them with just pipes and filters, but those mods will make a noticeable difference if you're banshee is stock now. Are you running stock gearing?
