TTT John needs a banshee!!!!!
-
I see them too! Everyday on my way to work! They're usually piled up in the back of a pickup truck; landscapers seem to have found a use for them
-
LMAO!!! I've been in more wrecks than I care to talk about. A lot on my banshee, some on my 450...I've flipped backwards, sideways, been thrown off and even partially run over but I still convince myself to get back on it
-
I couldn't agree more....everyone out there thought you were in BAD shape by the way you hit. People were talking about you breaking your collar bone, neck, all kinds of stuff...but you know how people like to talk. It was a miracle that you didn't end up on a stretcher, I think we all were thanking God once we saw you walking
-
Premix ratio depends on what brand oil you're going to run. Some recommend 32:1, some at 40:1, others at 50:1 and so on.... I run castor 927 @ 32:1.

Is that spot on your shoulder the worst of your injuries? I saw where you had skinned your elbows up a little when you were laying on the track... I cringe every time I see the video of it. Was amazing how fast it happened. I'm so thankful that you were able to get out of this with no broken bones, etc.
-
Ahhh, so are you saying I'm not entitled to throw my .02 in this thread? Am I only allowed to post in threads when I agree with everything in it? :yelrotflmao: I see, so I had a disagreement with YOU and I'm one of the biggest offenders....LOL! Keep trying
-
Biggest offenders? :yelrotflmao: How so?
-
YEP!!! People complain about there being too much moderation over there, but at least you can read a thread about a quad and not run into helldriver or one of his clones bashing someone and calling them a bible pusher because they don't agree with him about something. That shit is old, immature, and I'm tired of seeing so many threads destroyed because he wants to spread his nonsense all over the forum; it's not just in the roostin room. I'm not going to whine and moan about it like others have, I'm just planning on cancelling my premium membership here, since the only thing premium about this site anymore is the bullshit! I guess none of you look at the header at the top of the page "BansheeHQ, ALL BANSHEES, ALL THE TIME"....what a crock of shit! It should read, "BansheeHQ, little bit of banshees, whole lot of drama!!!"

Yes, I know him. I guarantee there is a reasonable explanation for this; Derek is a stand up guy that is very trustworthy. I've bought several things from him and aside from that he is a very good friend of mine. I know he drives a truck for a living, he may be working. You can PM me if you want to discuss this in details, I could try calling him for you if need be.

That's fine, I'm not going to be doing anything too elaborate; should be somewhat simple. I'll look around and see if I can find some tires for you, I've seen a few sets over on planet sand  -

Cool, I'll see what I can do in Adobe  If you were to have to re-draw it, I wouldn't mind paying you a little extra for the work. I'll get to drawing and check back with you late next week or early the week after... I'll see what I can find on the tires...do you need front and rear? Any preference? -

Hey Chase, how custom can you get with these vinyls? Could I draw something, scan it, send it to you and you print it? -
Well said Brooke No matter what the reasoning behind it, abortion is a painful thing to deal with in mind and body, and the shear thought of killing a live being (whether it's goo or not) is a horrible thing for anyone with a conscience to have to live with for the rest of their lives. It's not just a quick solution to a mistake, it's terminating someone's life...and the effects of abortion can stick with the girl forever
-
I was hoping not, because my wife's situations were not your "typical" reasons for having her abortions. I didn't want to go into details out of respect for her...I appreciate you clarifying, Brooke
-
I think you should know a little more about the situations before making comments like that :baseball_getlost:
-
Damn, that's not cool. Definitely keep me posted on what goes down today, I'm hoping as long as you two are careful and respectful they shouldn't have a problem with us running out there...but who knows  Wish I could be there, hopefully will see you next weekend

I think abortion is only "right" if the pregnancy happened from rape, etc. I'm a big believer in adoption for children that are not "wanted" by the biological parents. There are millions of people out there that can't have kids just waiting to adopt a newborn. I think you would be helping your friend out more if you could convince him to have the baby and put it up for adoption. Maybe if his girlfriend were to go through child birth, she would think a little harder and be more careful about getting knocked up next time. Yeah, accidents happen, but she can fix this one in a humane way; helping some couple to adopt a new baby, and your friend and his chick can go about their happy little lives together, without the unwanted baby. Aside from that, the girlfriend IS going to feel guilt about it later in life, my wife had two abortions way before we met, and she hates talking about it because she feels horrible for having to do it. I also have another "girl friend" that had an abortion (not my child), and she regrets it all the time. It's a decision you can't go back and change later, she'll have that skeleton in her closet forever. It could also prevent her from having kids later in life when she wants to have them. It's not like that for everyone, but I don't think my wife can have kids because of her abortions, we've had unprotected sex for almost our entire marriage. Her doctor told her after her second abortion it would be close to impossible for her to have kids; now she wants them and we probably won't be able to have them unless they're adopted. Just something to think about.

I agree too, about the personal attacks.

That's cool, we can definitely do that...or you could meet me at my place and we could head out from there...whatever would be easier for you. I'm tossing the idea around of going this year in the fall, but am also thinking about waiting till next spring. LOL, I can never make up my mind :baseball_wacko: Don't worry, I still have some work to do with my wife. I told her next time I go she has to come with me, and she's got some issues using the clutch too. She did alright on my banshee when it was a trail bike, but the 450's clutch is a little bit pickier...and I just can't imagine her riding my banshee anymore  New cylinders are nothing too special, just enough to put a hurtin' on the hyabusas at my local track :baseball_whistle:
-
Sure, that is if mine will be back together by the fall. I'm about to send my "new" cylinders off to be ported in the next few weeks, I'm hoping to try and get them back around early October or so. BUT, I guess I could always just leave mine together until I get the cylinders back from porting, I won't be selling my current setup until I get my new stuff in and on the bike. How many bikes would you be bringing with you if you were able to come?

I do...but they shut down test-n-tune on Fridays. They moved it to Sunday night after the races. We are allowed to run with the motorcylcles on Saturday and Sunday for cash, gates open at 4 on Saturdays, 3 on Sundays. It's kind of pricey to run on Saturday and Sunday, but the winning purses are real nice. From what I saw, first place is 1000, second is like 500, third is 250, etc. I'm not 100% certain those are all guaranteed purses, but I'm going to try and make it out there this weekend to see what the real deal is....I probably won't run, just watch since I haven't been there for the racing, only test-n-tune. You still interested in meeting up sometime?
-
Race-a-holic and I have been talking about making a fall trip too...a lot is going to depend on whether I have my banshee back together before then. I'm just going to play it by ear, I was thinking early October would be a nice time to go. Just so long as it's not 18 degrees at night like last time :baseball_bat: I'm just thankful Tyler had those big ass heaters
-
HAHA, that pic is great! Looks like he's about to snatch your head off 2 pipe springs is no problem. Hopefully they'll have them
-
Not yet, I was going to stop by Yamaha tomorrow and see what they have...How many do you need?
