  1. The best way to do it is find out your local registration laws and try and find a loophole in them to allow it. Chances are it'll be extremely difficult, close to impossible but there just may be a way! You can hang up getting insurance on it to drive on the streets, lol I don't see what the big deal is....as much as these environmental tree hugging hippies bitch about emissions and using up the world's natural resources, you would think they'd try and encourage making a quad street legal; I think less people would trail ride if they could rip their quads around town...I know I would! :woot: Think about how much gas we'd save overall...I could go to work and back for a week on two tanks of gas riding my 450, I burn that much in a day driving my truck
  2. I already got dibs on that if he splits it :ninja:
  3. LMAO :yelrotflmao:
  4. Not much closer but a shows the cover a little better... All these parts Dallas is selling are in great shape, practically brand new...and he's a great and honest person to deal with. I'd be picking up more from him if I didn't already have most of it  Best of luck to you on parting it out, if I can help out with pics, etc let me know!
  5. Me too, just gives me a reason to be creative when it's time to turn around  Coming from an owner of both a banshee and a yfz450, the 450 is much easier to ride in the trails but I think the banshee is more fun. The 450 definitely has a much better suspension out of the box, and is relatively fast with no mods. I rode a banshee in trails for years but after riding my friend's 450, I went out and bought one for the simple fact that it's much easier to ride and the power is there throughout the RPM's. Electric start is nice too
  6. Happy Birthday!!!!
  7. Damn skippy! That's the way it should be
  8. I love the site...it's exactly what I would want to see when I'm "shopping". Prices, pics, and thorough product/service descriptions. One of the best sites I've visited. Great job guys, I'm sure it will only get better too
  9. Oh I see now...look into a lightened flywheel, that will help you get moving quicker. If you haven't already, bump your timing up; makes a noticeable difference over stock. I'd recommend getting an adjustable timing plate for that instead of the degree key. Flywheel and timing advance shouldn't run you more than 100 bucks at absolute most. You won't get 10 hp out of it, but you'll definitely notice a difference in quickness. I'd still change your rear sprocket after you do those mods, it should rev quite a bit faster
  10. What does that mean?
  11. That's fuckin' hysterical! :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  12. You could always put a smaller sprocket on the rear...maybe go with a 38
  13. From what I hear, Gary will do that no questions asked, whether it's the a arm's fault or not. If I build another banshee for "normal" riding, I'll definitely be going with quicksand arms
  14. Sure do, I'll send you a PM
  15. You guys are right, I'm really sorry. My front suspension doesn't move since I'm running drag struts...I totally didn't think about that. My bad!!! :ninja: You'll definitely want to adjust your alignment with the front end on the ground....I do mine on jack stands cause of those little tires, makes it easier for me to reach them, LOL
  16. There are way too many variables to accurately calculate that...
  17. You can't adjust the camber with the stock components. You adjust your alignment by putting your front end up on a jack stand, get your handlebars as straight as possible then measure the distance between the two wheels in front of the tires and back of the tires. Then you adjust your tie rods to get the wheels straight. Idealy, you want the distance between the front and back of the tires to be the same. Does that make sense?
  18. I'm wondering if you might be able to put your silencer on a jig or something, heat up the stinger and bend it slightly to meet up with the head pipe...does that make sense?
  19. ^^^^If they ditched the bling junk bumper, did the a-arms/swingarm/nerfs in black and got rid of the pink beadlocks I would like it. It just looks like someone barfed pepto bismol, LOL
  20. That's just terrible!! Do they honestly believe that because of a banshee's year that it will put out more ozone eating emissions? If they tried to give me a red sticker I'd be calling up chase to print me up some green ones, LOL. I've heard about the red/green sticker thing but never knew what it meant until now...I'll be damned if someone is going to tell me when I can and can't ride, that's fucked up, plain and simple
  21. WTF is the point of having the red and green stickers? Why can only certain bikes run certain times of the year? Emissions can't be the reason, there isn't anything different about a banshee's engine throughout the years so why are some penalized and others not? This is the most retarded thing I've ever heard, I feel really bad for you all in Cali
  22. I think that's a really good idea though...looks good so far, can't wait to see the finished product!
  23. LMAO, we have a script we use at work that dials one of our hotlines to test it and make sure it's working....I should copy the script and just put his number in place of the hotline and it would continually call his number over and over and over again :woot: We could do his house phone too, nobody would have to lift a finger
