  1. I call BS. Show us VALID proof I also recall you saying this too.... In that same post you said something about it hitting 130 at the top of 3rd, so are you telling us you only gain 25mph with 4th and 5th gear? :shoothead:
  2. I see no pic
  3. If you end up needing bigger jets than that, holler at me. I have keihin jets out the wazoo, starting at 150 on up to 200, and if I don't have them, I'm pretty sure my local shop does... Good luck man and be careful
  4. That's exactly what I was going to suggest. It's what I'm doing for mine this winter
  5. Happy Birthday Jeff! Have a good one bro, I'll drink to ya tonight
  6. I've been running them on my banshee for a year now with no problems at all. Granted I only drag race it but everything takes a good beating with the rigid chassis. I have no complaints about mine, and they clean up real nice. A little polish and they look new again
  7. ^^^^Knows his shit about 2 strokes
  8. ^^^^Will be eating my roost at LS in the spring  j/p
  9. Mine used to vibrate real bad on pavement with knobbies...same with my friend's quads. Hell, my banshee the way it is now with street tires vibrates at high speeds...I'm thinking about having the front wheels balanced cause at 80 mph on solid struts it's scary, lol. I agree with gimmeabeer
  10. Generally speaking, if you're not drag racing a majority of the time, I wouldn't get one. The lock up is to keep your clutches from slipping on a high HP engine. If you do more duning or trail riding than racing, I wouldn't invest in a lockup/clutch cover, etc. Just my .02
  11. LMFAO, I thought I was the only one  I've been receiving weird interference from the Oklahoma area
  12. Fuel pump=cheap insurance
  13. My vote goes for keep running gas and add nitrous That's what I'm gonna do with mine next year
  14. I agree with ellison, he's got a mix of something else in him from the looks of his tail...but you can definitely see the pit in him. He's a great looking dog; I love pits/pit mixes myself, I have one that just turned a year old today. They're excellent dogs in the right hands, extremely loyal and obedient when trained properly. Don't believe all the crap people spit off about pit bulls, over half the people that talk shit about them have never had a personal experience with one....they base their opinion strictly off of what the media puts out...I caught all kinds of hell when I posted up pics, etc when I got mine. Congrats on the new pup!!! Here's mine at 6 months or so...how old is your pup?
  15. Cool, thanks Brad!! I got my cubs pretty much done with the fine rol-loc pads and was thinking they look pretty damn close to where they need to be....I guess my work is done before sending them off. WOOOHOOO
  16. Hey Brad, after you've used the fine rol-loc pad, do you hit your project with any higher grit sandpaper, or do you go straight to the buffing wheel? I've been using the rol-loc pads attached to a right angle grinder for my cubs and it works awesome. Takes some time but the results are well worth it.
  17. Well...come on down!!! I'll go ahead and ask off for those dates
  18. It all depends on what you want...you could run it as is with pump gas or get a cool head like wes suggested and bump your compression up to match the gas you're running
  19. Oh, ok..you took a different route than I thought...you were about 15 minutes from my house. 20 gallons of race fuel will do me fine, probably more than I need since I won't be taking the banshee any further than the drag strip. Especially this next trip, I'll have an override and marvins all around, won't be the best duner  Apshalt strip is open until late november but I won't be making it out any more this year. Last trip I made to the dirt track I blew a base gasket and don't plan on fixing it for just one month of racing. I'm going to rebuild it with the cub and start fresh for next year :woot: Is everybody cool with those dates? March 29th-April 1st?
  20. Stock head with porting sounds like your compression is where it should be...You can run pump gas with those numbers
  21. I don't mind at all...you could head up to my house the night before the "long haul" and we could head out in the morning together if you want...or you could meet us the morning we leave, whatever works best for you. I know they sell race gas there, but don't know how expensive it is and what kind of quantities they have...I just bring 20 gallons of race gas and 10 gallons of pump for the 450. If it only took you 3 hours to get to presidents island, the dirt track I go to as well as the asphalt track shouldn't be more than 2.5 hours from you, probably less. What highways did you take to come up?
  22. Yeah, I figure we could do it kind of like we did the first time I came up...just meet you at walmart or your place and we can keep truckin from there. That way we'll have all of Thurday through Saturday to ride. After driving almost 12 hours straight to NC with the dog and my wife to go to a wedding, 8-9 hours to the dunes won't be shit, lol truraiderfan, it won't be on snakehunt, that is the second weekend in April
  23. Don't know if you're cool with it...but whatever the week is we go, I was planning on leaving Wednesday morning and hopefully driving straight through...So I'd be there from Wednesday night until Sunday morning; rather than breaking the trip up in 2 parts like last time.
  24. Just to throw something out there...what about the last weekend in March...just like last spring? Hopefully we won't encounter any freaks of nature this time though  Dates are March 29th-April 1st. What are everyone's thoughts?
