  1. I run the ported stock reed cages on my trail bike. I had the TDR reeds in there at first and the setup worked well, but I am now running the boyeson 2 stage reeds with the ported cages and it has a real nice snap to it. From a different standpoint (seat of the pants on my drag bike) comparing VF2's to the TDR ported cages and reeds...with the VF2's the bike did pull harder and revved quicker, the TDR cages and reeds weren't too far behind it though, I'd definitely recommend them for someone wanting to save a little money and is not out to get the absolute most HP they can. They are the best bang for the buck...unless you port your own cages and go buy some boyeson 2 stage reeds for 60 bucks. This is all just my opinion and experiences  I'm pulling my intakes off tonight or tomorrow and can take some pics of the cages if you guys want to see them (for porting)
  2. I run +8 on my drag bike w/ dyna ignition (175psi), +5 on my trail bike with the stock ignition (160psi). Both are on race fuel I run the cheapest adjustable stator plates you can find on ebay, they're marked -10 to +10, work great. Lightened flywheel would help you out too
  3. I put my ignition on the back side of the gas tank. I imagine you could put the stock CDI there too. Just cut a piece of flat metal, bolt it on. Shortens up your harness a lot.
  4. Gotta click the white area on the pic for it to work
  5. Bryan's bike is probably closer to an original banshee than 75% of the drag bikes out there. The NHRA rules he has to abide by limit him to an OEM frame, can't exceed a certain wheelbase, etc. There are several things that must remain in an OEM fashion. His bike is just dropped, got asphalt tires, and drag pipes, where most people are used to seeing banshees with shocks, paddles, and in-frames. The numbers he's running are great, 10 seconds in the quarter is moving! lol, and I guarantee he didn't tell dirtwheels it was the world's fastest banshee, he doesn't strike me as that type of person. This kind of article is great though, it sparks interest in readers to look more into it and see for themselves. Curiousity brings crowds, the crowd starts getting into it and building their own, sport starts to grow.
  6. yeah, that was some fucked up shit, MJ tellin little boys to come sip on his Jesus Juice I made a flash animation about that a long time ago, I'll see if I can dig it up, lol
  7. That's a good idea, small pics or banners would be cool, but there's no need to have some gigantic pic in a signature. Anyways, I think the removing of free advertising is a good idea, that keeps it fair for those who are paying up. It just makes sense. What's the incentive for those few to pay when there are several that don't?
  8. I love my GRR pipes, too bad I can't get them new anymore Here's a clip of them on my good old 350, I think I am gonna build another asphalt bike :ninja:
  9. No, I didn't, but also didn't think you'd be bugging me like you did to sell them to you for so cheap, just to turn around and sell the shit for a profit. You acted like you were broke as hell and couldn't afford any more, shouted at me in the box for days beggin for me to sell them to you, said you needed something so bad...so I thought I was doing a fellow member a good deed by selling something so cheap, if you remember I wanted another $100 bucks for the cylinders, but you weren't budging on what you could spend. I threw the domes in there cause they went with the cylinders...common fucking courtesty says if you're given something for free, and you don't need it, offer it back before you fucking go selling it to make a profit off the hand that fed you. If you were selling the whole top end/domes to someone else for the same price I wouldn't be upset at all. But the fact that you're making money off me, after that BS "I can't spend more than $250" act you threw at me, that's what pisses me off. I could give a fuck less if you're tired of my shit, you took advantage of a nice gesture and it really pissed me off, I didn't want to sell them but since you bugged the crap out of me on PS, I went ahead and sold the shit. I had every intention to keep them but thought that since you sounded so damn cheap and like you couldn't afford anything worth a damn, maybe you needed them more than I did. Fuck it, I'm done, I said what I wanted to get out, you're a real asshole and I hope you get shafted by someone, and I hope they fuckin stick it WAY up your ass.
  10. man, you are just taking full advantage of my generousity of giving you those domes...if you didn't want them, why didn't you tell me to not to ship them? You fucked it up for everyone on here as far as me cutting deals, I'll never sell anything to anyone else for a deal. Thanks for making me feel like a fuckin moron for cutting you a good deal. Glad to see you're making a profit off me trying to do something nice for someone :shoothead: There's no law saying you can't pick something up for a good price and turn around, sell it and make a profit, but to freaking bug the shit out of me to sell you something cheap, for you to turn around and sell it and make money off me, is flat out bullshit.
  11. I am using FMF silencers on mine
  12. Have you checked the reeds? If they are worn or damaged they can cause similar issues, and you mainly notice it at idle. Just a thought
  13. Bump... $250 shipped for cylinders, pistons, and domes
  14. That's a good point too. Pilots are so small it wouldn't take much of anything to plug it up. A small piece of grit in the bowls could cause blockage
  15. Blaster axle is narrower and I would assume lighter too. People do it to save money instead of buying a drag axle. It works well if you're not pushing a lot of HP, but once you start making some serious power, you should really look into getting an aftermarket drag axle. Lighter and stronger than stock, w/ full adjustability. I don't know anything about the raptor axles...
  16. I'd like to buy those cylinders back for what I sold them to you for...I wouldn't have sold them so cheap had I known you were just going to turn around and sell it. $250 shipped for cylinders, pistons, and domes...
  17. I'd check your reeds. Sounds like one could be badly worn or broken on the left side.
  18. That's what I recommend, but would go from 300-350. I'd start off around 320 and work my way around there. When I first got started w/ my banshee, all it had was T5's, reeds, and K&N drop in filter and it was jetted w/ 280 mains. I honestly don't think you'd need to go any higher than 300, but it's best to start off too rich and work down, rather than be too lean and burn your top end
  19. Should have all the info you need here: http://www.duncanracing.com/ctgy/31
  20. I will say this though, don't ride your bike 6th gear wide open for a half mile or longer and wonder why you have a hole in your piston, lol
  21. Great guy to deal with, excellent and friendly communication, quick to pay. Thanks for the smooth transaction!!! Travis
  22. This is a really nice bike, great seller, here are some pics
  23. That's no shit right there, Tony is no joke, he's provided proof on several occasions about his times.
  24. I'm pretty sure it does have an override and is on alky  4.21 was my fastest time, on dirt, running race gas. 4mil cub, 300lb rider
  25. I've run PJ's before, wes pretty much nailed it, they're similar to the PWK's, but the adjustment is a little different. It's a good carb, I have a couple friends running them, they seem happy.
