The 4mil cubs I bought were PC'd gloss black, they were previously ran on gas, and they looked flawless when I got them. You couldn't tell they'd been run at all. PC will hold up to the heat, and it definitely lasts longer than paint :thumbsup:

I saw where you said it ran like crap with the 27.5, was that before or after the head? Are you using the choke when its cold? I hate stock carbs, I had a very similar problem when I ran them. I couldn't get it started for shit when it was cold, took several kicks...but once it got warm, first kick every time. I went to aftermarket carbs and the problem left with the stockers. I have very similar mods to you

Absolutely! Even though I find it boring to watch them roll around on the ground, I can totally respect the amount of skill and technique involved in those moves. I'd be submitted in seconds, lol, I'd have no chance against a wrestler! I guess that's kind of what makes this sport cool though, is you get a little bit of everything, it's not just one style of fighting. A legal fight club :biggrin: After watching last weekends fights I'm going to start keeping up with it a lot more. My wife and I were yelling at the TV, "Hit that motherfucker!!!!", "DAMN!!" It was the most entertainment we've had in a while :biggrin:

You can compensate with tires for lack of swingarm length. If you want to run a shorter swingarm, run less paddles (say a 8 or 10 paddle) and you'll spin more than hook. You don't necessarily have to get a longer swingarm to keep the bike manageable :thumbsup: You will love the difference though! You're not going to believe how much more power those 4mil cubs have over stock cylinders, especially if you're going from stock port stockers to cubs, LOL, you better grab a diaper for your first trip on it! :beer:

I totally agree, it's so aggravating to be reading a post and you're scrolling through giant pics of people's trucks and boats and shit. The small banners are cool, but if your signature picture is bigger than the header at the top of the page then you should shrink it to a more respectable size.

In an earlier fight, that guy Scott (forgot his last name, but he looks a lot like locogato) knocked that other dude out COLD in the second round!! I'm all about watching a good fight, I can't stand watching them sit there and "grapple" each other round after round, it's so boring, I change the channel. When I say it was set "right", means I set it to the height that keihin recommends you set your float for that carb. That didn't work, so I went higher to see if it helped, but guess what, it didn't help, I went to the point of it overflowing out the back of the carb. What was the purpose of you quoting me and re-iterating exactly what I said was the problem? The bowl ran dry, I'm aware of that. I ran 5/16" fuel line, and the float height was set correctly. You guys are trying to play me off as a retard, I know how to jet and tune a carburetor. 1 carburetor is not enough fuel for some setups, plain and simple. Get it through your skull that not all banshees are the same, they're all tuned a little differently, in different climates and altitudes. Just because the 2 into 1 carb works for you, doesn't mean it's going to work on everyone else's setups ::
