  1. what stroke are they set up for?
  2. you can put the newer 6 bolt style sprocket hub on the 87 but with the 4 bolt you can go down to 37 tooth .with the 6 bolt sprocket hub you can only go down to a 39 tooth without the chain riding on the ears .if you shave a little off then you can go to a 38 tooth.in my oppinion stay with the 4 bolt and order your sprockets from sprocket specialties.
  3. in my oppinion i'd forget trinity, they don't do the quality they used to since they got a name.if you want awsome results and satisfaction try jim at passion racing.i doubt if you can find a better guy to talk to and deal with whether it's just questions or a full all out drag motor with pipes.
  4. oliver, its like passionre said and and i can say for a fact that he knows what he is talkin about .he is an excellent engine builder and a very nice guy to talk to.i'm sure jim at passion would not mind at all if you gave him a call.we have ran a lot of his work and it will will run right with and better than some of the more well know builders motors and he won't rip you pricewise and he is always there after the work to help with any problems or questions you may have.
  5. maier has pink plastic .they have a color swab of it on they're web site.
  6. where ya from?here in pennsylvania you can call dcnr and they will run the vin for ya .
  7. damn thats pretty high prices. i usually pay $3 - $4 a piece for pilot and main jets for my keihins at any local bike shop.
  8. i'd check to make sure the metal stops are still there and not bent allowing the steering to turn to far.
  9. my grandson is 2 yrs old and has mastered the power wheels quad, the power wheels john deere tractor and the power wheels big foot.so b and i took him last night and got him a pw 50.we get a set of training wheels for it he's set to go.still wanna get him a tri-zinger or quad also.about the time i'm to old to drag the shee he will be ready to take over for me.
  10. fenders! why?
  11. you would want a tach that goes to at least 12,000 rpm.we had one on the passion x3 that went to 12,000 rpm and we could bury it with little effort.
  12. i run castor and turbo blue at 40:1
  13. i been running ohtsu 501 radials and they hook very hard on almost any surface.there's a lot of guys told me they work great in snow also.turf tamers with every forth row cut work great also.
  14. if the carbs still have the tors on them they could be your problem.if they are still hooked up you could try unplugging them and hooking the wires together to bypass them.
  15. a buddy of mine has a set of tcs dual rate shocks with resevoirs {front and rear} 450.00 shipped.also a set of roll design a-arms{upper and lower} +2 wider and +2 forward 450.00 shipped.if interested shoot me or bkabina a pm.i'll try to post some pics.
  16. talk to PassionRE on this site or give him a call.his name is Jim.phone him at 918-232-3950
  17. call andy at grand river racing {616-642-6186}.he builds one of the best if not the best swingarms for the money and he will treat you right.whoever you buy it from ,go with the roundhousing swingarm.
  18. we been riding j arms for years now and never had any of ours bend .i'v seen more a arms that bent than i have j arms.
  19. i never ran a lightened stock flywheel.i did however go to a fastline ignition which if no one is familiar with is simiular to a pvl ignition .it has no heavy flywheel just a small rotor and the rotor is actually alittle lighter than the one pvl uses.the lighter weight spinning with the crank will most deffinatly take a small bit of torque away .you will deffinately notice a difference when starting out from a dead stop.you have to give it just a bit more throttle than with stock flywheel.it will rev higher alot faster and idle down faster without the extra weight spinning.it is also alot easier to bust the rods loose with a lighter weight such as the fastline, pvl and wicked ignition uses just to name a few.another thing to think about with a lightened stock flywheel is having it bust apart from removeing metal and getting hit with pieces of it coming out through stator cover.i have heard of this happening.just my two cents worth.
  20. stock suspension works fine for me for dirt drags.
  21. wanna buy a set of tcs shocks?i can fix ya up with front and rear.leave me know.also got a set of roll design a-arms
  22. call Jim at Passion Racing 918-232-3950 or 918-272-5665. he's a great guy and i bet he could fix you up with a set of shearers
  23. my son ran v-force reeds and they will deffinately go to shit and possibly get sucked in to engine.we caught his in time that they did'nt get sucked into engine but they were about ready to .he switched to v-force 3's and they are a great improvement in design and an improvement in performance.however in my oppinion a set of ported stock cages with boysen reeds in my oppinion perform just as good if not better than v-force for a lot less money.for trail and mx riding i would'nt bother lightening the flywheel.i would advance timing 4 degrees and go with 33pwk's.
  24. jim knows his shit.great guy
