another thing i found when mine done that is dropping pilot jets one size helped.don't know if it will help you though.you could try sitting up almost on tank, launch it in second and after it launches slide back.it should make it spin a little this way.

pwk's are real good and pj's are great carbs for drag racing,i tried mikuni's and they didnt seem as responsive as the pwks.i really like my airstrykers.

passion deffinately has wonderful prices on pipes or whatever you may need.

oh yeh they are quick and they run a portatree lighting system.some of them run n.o.s. they start from a dead stop and when the light drops to green they hit the throttle and carry the front end a third of the way down the track.a couple of them ran 95-97 mph.they said when theres snow on the ground they run a good bit faster et's.something like 4.5 to 4.9 seconds.the one that ran the fastest time was a yamaha and the guy said it was a 700 reworked and was putting out 220 hp and the whole sled only weighed 400 lbs.i wish i would have gotten some pics of them.

i just ran my last drag of the year today on my shee.they hold 3 races a year.it was at a 500ft grass drag and they also drag race snowmobiles at this place.it was pretty awsome seeing some of them sleds run on the bare ground.a couple of them were real fast.there was a yamaha sled that ran a 5.2sec run and a skidoo that ran 5.3 sec pass.my best on my shee was 6.7 that put me in second place.mans its hard to get traction in the grass.lol.its the second time i ran there.deffinately had fun and am goin back next year.if anyone here in pa . is close enough and would like to try it sometime here is the link to they're web site:chickeree ridgerunners

toomey's been doing that for sometime now.if you contact them they even will sell you used toomey pipes sometimes depending on what they have.at least thats what toomey told me almost a year ago.

i think you would be very much satisfied and won't regret it.we have ran passion motors for 2 yrs now and don't have any complaints or regrets so far.
-
passion racing's prices and quality of workmanship are are very hard to beat!!!!!
-
talk to passionre on here or call 918-232-3950 and talk to jim.he's a great guy to talk to and does great work.he will help you decide what setup you want.YOU WON'T BE LIED TO!!!he will also give you the best possible deal he can.you will not be ripped off.we run passion racing's motors and are not disappointed one bit with them or they're performance and durability.jim can beat them prices listed.
-
Should I get V-force 2 or 3's I plane no getting porting and cool head! i'd go with the v force 3's if you feel you want to go with reeds.the v force 2's are junk, the screws holding the petals are known to come loose and i have seen the whole inside part that holds the petals screw up.as for the head ,noss has a very good design and is the one that i'd buy.as for the crank ,i ran a stock crank that was not trued and welded for two yrs in the dirt drags and never had a problem with it ,but a crank can screw up at any time.i also do not care for the flywheel lightening thing.with the material being removed from the flywheel there is a greater chance of the flywheel shattering to pieces which i have heard of.just my 2 cents

lmao, you know they probally had inexperienced kids riding them also .i'm sure passion aint going to win every race but then neither is fast, rdz, port magic, grr and the list goes on.i will say however its pretty pathetic when a 4mil on gas walks all over a triple exhaust port on alky.especially when its a small bore 4 mil 500 dollar port job on gas against a big bore stroker,1500 dollar port job running alky.now that just didnt impress me.
-
lmao,i'll have you know i raced an rdz triple exhaust port running on alky and beat him easily.not once but twice with sons x3 passion running on gas.his best time in 500 ft that night was 6.2 and mine was 5.8 .passion---> rdz--->

passionre on here is the man.jim does great work at very good prices and his motors are fast.

no they won't be any better,i'd stick with the shearers .i had a set of shearer in frames on my shee and went to out of frame wicked atv pipes then cpi out of frames both just had stingers and neither one worked as good as the inframe shearers.i had out of frame shearers with silencers and they performedpretty much like the inframe shearers and still much better than the wicked and cpi's were for mid and top end.grr's are probally the closest to shearers in performance.they will both out perform cpi's in almost every application.the grr's pull a little harder on the bottom but than shearers but i think the shearers pull a little harder on top.

For Those with Shearer or CPI's

if i were you and were going to 4 mil cubs i would just buy the shearers now.they are an awsome pipe .i had a set of inframe shearers and we tried them on my son's passion 12 port and they worked great.talk to jim about it. -
probally the shift shaft and eccentric adjuster are worn and or need adjusted.
-
i agree with loco on this.i would think you need to go down a size or two on your pilots.i'm at 3000ft and that pilot does seem a bit much for 5500ft.
-
if you drag race only you can get an overide tranny.the overide is only for drag racing and you don't use clutch to shift only to start out and to stop.you can mod a stock tranny to make it shift smoother and easier though.
-
i like the orange color. if only it were a two stroke.
-
i'm looking for a used set of alky carbs with adjustable power jets.prefer 36mm or close to it.
-
i agree with champ,i'd check the fuel supply system .sounds like its using more fuel than it has supplied.
-
check this out ,is it me or does that one rod look bent.the guy says crank is in real good condition.ebay pic
